Chapter 98

"Her name is Kaguya. She is my friend." Naruto said.

Naruto and Kaguya then sat on the seat next to the bed.

Kaguya was looking at Hinata the whole time because she felt her child's chakra inside her.

Hinata straightened slightly on the bed and leaned back. She then said while bowing her head slightly, "Nice to meet you Kaguya-san, I'm Hinata."

Then Hinata continued to speak in wonder, "Kaguya-san, is that Byakugan in your eyes?"

"Yes, I have a Byakugan." Kaguya said while observing Hinata.

"I have never seen you in the Hyuuga clan before. What clan are you from?" Hinata asked. Hinata didn't think she was a bad person, after all, she was Naruto's friend.

Just as Kaguya was about to speak, the door of the room opened and Hiashi and Hanabi entered.

Hiashi frowned when he saw Naruto inside. But he still didn't say anything to him because he had heard what had happened on the battlefield.

"Sister, we're here to take you." Hanabi said excitedly as she approached Hinata.

Later, when she noticed Naruto in the room, she was embarrassed and approached Hinata softly.

Hinata smiled and started stroking Hanabi's head and said while looking at her father, "Is it time to go?"

Hiashi nodded and said, "Yeah, we can go now."

Then, Hiashi noticed Kaguya, while she was sitting gracefully on the sofa. He felt enchanted the moment he saw her. He felt something inside, especially when he looked at her face. It was the first time he felt this way towards a member of the opposite sex.

Hiashi had never felt this way even towards his deceased ex-wife. Although they were not married to each other. It was their only political marriage.

When Hiashi noticed the Byakugan in Kaguya's eyes, he thought, "Byakugan? But how? I'm sure she's not from the Hyuuga clan."

Kaguya noticed that someone had been staring at her for a while and looked towards the person who was looking at her. But after taking a glance at him, she continued to investigate Hinata. She didn't see anything special about it that interested her. After all, he was just a classic.

Hiashi was momentarily excited when he noticed her gaze. But then he realized that her gaze hadn't stopped on him for a second.

When Hiashi realized this, he was deeply saddened, after all, his crush paid almost no attention to him. But she still looked at him for a little while. So it could be a possibility, right?

"Hello, I am Hiashi Hyuuga, the leader of the Hyuuga clan. And also I'm Hinata's father." Hiashi said.

"Kaguya-san, may I have the honor of welcoming you to the Hyuuga clan compound? I'm sure we might have something to talk about as a Hyuuga." Hiashi said.

"No, I am not from your clan. Also, don't look at me anymore." Kaguya said in a somewhat harsh tone. For some reason, Hiashi reminded Kaguya of her ex-husband, this made her very angry.

"Then how do you have Byakugan? Is your family someone who left the Hyuuga clan? Otherwise, there is another possibility." Hiashi frowned a little. Could she have stolen the eye of someone from the clan?

"Hiashi-san, please think carefully about what you are implying. She is a guest of the Uzumaki clan and currently lives in the Uzumaki mansion. Also, I've already given information about her to Hokage. If there's a problem, talk to Hokage." Naruto said.

Hiashi frowned even more. What kind of relationship does Kaguya have with Naruto so that she can stay together?

Hinata nodded and started to get out of bed. At that moment, she suddenly lost her balance. But suddenly a pair of arms helped her regain her balance.

When Hinata looked at the owner of the arms that helped her, she noticed Kaguya.

Kaguya asked gently as she looked into Hinata's eyes, "Are you okay?"

Then, after Hinata regained her balance, Kaguya pulled her hands back.

While Hinata was feeling awkward, she said with a smile, "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for the help."

Kaguya nodded with a straight face, then sat down next to Naruto again.

Naruto just stood there. This world hadn't changed like that, right?
