Chapter 7

Next day*

Naruto entered the classroom and started walking towards his desk.

"Naruto, you do know that only those who pass the exam can come, right?" Shikamaru asked.

"Can't you see the forehead protector on my neck? I became a genin yesterday as a result of some events." Naruto said with a smile.

"I found it strange that you didn't pass the exam yesterday anyway, even if you didn't show it, you're probably the strongest person in the class." Shikamaru said with a sly grin.

Naruto sat next to Hinata after chatting with Shikamaru for a short while.

"Hinata, good morning." Naruto said.

"Huh!" Hinata said with a pout before turning to the other side.

"I wonder why she acted like that? Ah… I remember now, I made a promise to her that I'd reward her if she became a genin." Naruto thought.

"My little lady, you have to be content with that for a while." Naruto said while hugging Hinata from behind and kissing her on the cheek.

"N-no, st-stop. Someone will see." Hinata said with her face blushing.

They were fortunate that everyone in the class was looking the other way at the time.

An incredible thing was happening in the classroom, Kiba and Sasuke kissing on the lips. It was a short kiss, but it still happened.

"No! Sasuke's first kiss is gone!" Sakura thought with an angry face.

Naruto was pretty much taken aback. In the anime, Naruto and Sasuke normally kissed, but how did they end up in such a situation?

But Naruto's real surprise was that Sasuke saw pink in his cheeks, even if it was a little. Was he embarrassed?

"Wait a minute! Sasuke? Really? But how? In the anime, they married Sakura and even had children. Did he actually feel that way?" Naruto thought in a puzzled manner.

At that moment Iruka entered.

"Everybody sit down!" Iruka said, shouting.

"From today on, you will all be a beginner ninja. Here, you will be divided into teams of three and complete your missions accompanied by a Jonin ninja. Groups have already been set up. I'm starting to read the groups." Iruka said.

After Iruka sang trivial groups for a while, it was time to reveal the people in Team 7.

"Team 7. Naruto Uzumaki - Sakura Haruno - Sasuke Uchiha. Jonin Kakashi Hatake." Iruka said.

"Yes! Love won!" Sakura thought as she rejoiced.

Hinata was upset that she would not be on the same team as Naruto.

"Don't worry, this is just a team that formed until it's Chunin. In addition, we are not leaving completely, sometimes we can meet." Naruto whispered while holding Hinata's hand.

"Team 8. Hinata Hyuga - Kiba Inuzuka - Shino Aburame. Jonin Kurenai Yuhi." Iruka said.

"Team 10. Ino Yamanaka - Shikamaru Nara - Choji Akimichi. Jonin Asuma Sarutobi."

"You'll meet your Jonin voices in the afternoon. Until then, you are free."

After talking to Hinata for a while, Naruto went out to eat.

When Naruto came out he saw Sakura looking at the ground with a thoughtful expression.

"Sakura-san! Would you like to have lunch together?" Naruto asked.

"No! We'll have dinner alone with Sasuke-kun! Don't bother us!" Sakura said before she left to look for Sasuke.

"Sigh* She's such a fangirl." Naruto said.

Afternoon*

Naruto and his teammates were sitting on the roof with Kakashi.

"First, introduce yourself." Kakashi said.

"How are we going to promote it? How will we introduce ourselves? Sensei, why don't you show it to us first?" Sakura asked.

"Hm? All right. My name is Kakashi Hatake. I don't want to tell you things that I like or dislike. My dream is… I don't know, I never thought about it." Kakashi said.

"Now it's yours turn. Pink you go first." Kakashi said, pointing at Sakura.

"My name is Sakura Haruno. Things I like… Things I don't like are Ino-Pig. My dream is… Kyaa*"Sakura said, looking at Sasuke.

"Excellent. We have a fangirl on hand. " Kakashi thought.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. There is nothing I particularly like. I don't like most things. My dream, more precisely, my goal to kill someone." Sasuke said solemnly.

"There's a revengeful too." Kakashi thought.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I like training and hanging out with my friends. The things I don't like are rapists, traitors and murderers. My dream is to be strong enough to protect my future family from everything." Naruto said.

"In addition… someone normal… I think?" Kakashi thought.

"Okay. All three of you have interesting characters, I like that. We will start the mission tomorrow. The mission is a survival exercise." Kakashi said.

"Exercise? We did a lot of exercises in the academy anyway." Sakura said.

"But this is not a simple exercise. A tough exam with a pass rate of 34% or less. Also, if you fail this exam, you will be sent back to the academy." Kakashi said.

"What? Then what was our previous exam for?"

"Is that? It was just to choose those who had the potential to be genin. Anyway, whether you will pass or not will be determined tomorrow. We will meet at 5 a.m. in Training Area 7." Kakashi said.

"Oh! By the way, I do not recommend having breakfast. Otherwise, you may throw up." Kakashi said before he disappeared.
