The senior students of the ninja academy were currently taking the genin exam.

The students were currently taking the written exam, the first stage of the genin test.

Exam time had expired and teachers were collecting students' papers.

Mizuki was grinning as took Naruto's exam paper.

"He's planning something." Naruto thought, looking at Mizuki.

"The first stage of the exam is over. Now we're going out for the next stage, the kunai launch."

While everyone in the class was going out, Mizuki was secretly replacing Naruto's paper with another.

Everyone was gathered outside in front of a few tree stumps.

"The people whose names I call will throw kunai on the logs." Iruka said as he pointed the logs with his hand.

Iruka then started calling individual students.

The majority of the class had a score of 9 or less. There were only two people who got higher than 9.

One of them was Sasuke and the other was Hinata.

"Naruto, did something happen? Why did you throw so badly?" Hinata whispered curiously to Naruto.

"Don't worry, everything is under my control." Naruto whispered as smiled.

Naruto scored so badly because Mizuki gave him kunai of terrible quality. Of course, if he wanted to, he could still throw them all to the exact target, but he had to do this for the plan he had in mind.

The next phase of the exam had begun.

Sequentially, everyone entered the room, and after a while, some people who left the room were holding a forehead protecter. Other people who came out without a forehead protecter in their hands, of course, could not pass the exam.

It was now Naruto's turn.

Naruto slowly opened the door of the room and entered.

"Naruto you will make Henge first, then you will do Bunshin." Iruka said.

Naruto once again made the jutsu using his hands, then three Chibi Naruto's came out with him.

"Sorry Naruto, you didn't pass the exam. Don't worry, you will be next year!" Iruka said to Naruto.

Naruto nodded and then walked out of the room with a fake expression of sadness on his face.

Time passed, some of the children outside the academy were talking to their families with smiles on their faces.

Naruto, on the other hand, was sitting sadly on the swing not far from there.

Mizuki was walking towards Naruto with a sneaking smile.

"Naruto will you come with me? There is something I want to talk to you about." Mizuki said.

After Naruto nodded to confirm, the two went somewhere.

"Naruto has another test that Iruka doesn't tell you. If you pass that exam successfully, you directly become a special genin." Mizuki said.

"What? Mizuki-sensei please tell me!" Naruto said excitedly.

"Ok Naruto, I'll tell you. First, you need to steal Scroll of Seals in Hokage Residence. Then, if you learn the jutsu in it, you will pass this exam successfully. " Mizuki said with a grin.

"I accept, Mizuki-sensei. This time, I'll definitely pass the exam and I will be genin!" Naruto said excitedly.

After talking to Naruto Mizuki for a while, he went to the Hokage Residence.

"Hokage-Jiji, I have an important topic to talk to you about." Naruto said as entering Hokage's office.

"Naruto, what happened?" The Hokage asked solemnly.

"First of all, I was wronged by Mizuki in the exam. He changed my exam paper and kunai. After the exam was over, he said he wanted to approach me and talk to me. He thought he would fool me and said that there was a secret test and if I passed that test, I would be your genin." Naruto said.

"He asked me to steal Scroll of Seals. Thinking that there was something strange about this, I accepted it after making a plan in my mind." Naruto said.

"Naruto I will give you an A-Rank quest. The mission's goal is to catch Mizuki, who is considered a traitor." Hokage said while stroking his beard.

Since Hokage had known Naruto since he was little, he knew he would not betray the village. He also knew that sometimes he could pass the exam easily because he was watching him secretly. That's why he trusts Naruto comfortably and entrusted him with this quest.

Naruto was jumping from branch to branch in the dark of night with the Scroll of Seals hanging on his back.

After a while, he sat under a tree and quickly took Scroll of Seals and opened it.

Naruto's eyes were glancing at all sides of the scrolling and recording everything he looked at in his mind.

"It came just in time." Naruto thought as he closed the scroll and hung it on his back.

Shortly after Naruto turned off the scroll, Iruka arrived, breathless.

"Naruto how can you do that!" Iruka said in an angry tone.

"Take it easy, Iruka-sensei. Listen to me first." Naruto said in a calming tone.

At that moment several kunai was thrown towards Iruka.

Naruto escaped from the kunai after pushing Iruka aside.

"Well done Naruto! Now give me the scroll to be genin!" Mizuki said.

"Mizuki, you damn! Naruto no! He's a traitor, don't give him the scroll! Get away from here now!" Iruka said.

"Hahaha! Does Naruto want to know that the whole village hates you?" Mizuki asked while laughing.

"Stop it Mizuki! Don't say it!" Iruka said.

"Naruto, you are a demon. You are holding Kyuubi, who attacked the village 12 years ago and killed many people in you. You killed Yandaime Hokage and many villager's families! You even killed Iruka's family! He hates you too! Hahaha!" Mizuki said while laughing like the villain.

Iruka was looking down at the ground with a sad expression after hearing what was said.

"You think I don't know that? You and those stupid peasants are still a flock of ignorant people who don't know what the sealing seal is for. As if I wanted Kyuubi to be put inside me." Naruto said with an angry expression on face.

Naruto was angry. Because the life he lived was his life, not a scene he watched in the anime. He was tired of what he had been through since he was little, and he was very angry with this village and the villagers. Sometimes he even thought of demolishing the village in the future.

When Naruto returned to reality, he realized that Mizuki was running towards him. Then he made the Multi Kage Nunshi no Jutsu technique by moving his hands quickly.

A huge cloud of smoke formed that briefly covered the environment. After the smoke cloud disappeared, there was a lot of Naruto around.

After some time passed, Mizuki was standing on the ground, his hands tied.

Next to Mizuki, there were two ninja anbu with masks on his face. One of the Anbu disappeared while holding Mizuki's shoulder.

"Genin Naruto Uzumaki. You have completed the Tier A mission by catching the treacherous Mizuki, and your rewards will be credited to your account tomorrow." Anbu said before disappeared.

"Naruto, I congratulate you on being a genin. I also want you to know that I don't hate you. I am grateful to you for protecting us from Kyuubi." Iruka said while handing Naruto a forehead protecter.
