Chapter 38

Night*

Naruto and Mei were having dinner together.

Mei took another sip from her glass of red wine. Then looking at Naruto's face that he had replaced with genjutsu, she said, "So you still won't show me your true face."

Naruto said with a grin before cutting off a piece of steak in front of him and eating it, "I still want to hide my identity right now. Maybe I can show you my real face if there's no one around watching us."

"Well, at least that mysteriousness gives you charm." Mei said with a smile.

"Oh? So wouldn't I be too attractive if I don't have a mystery?" Naruto asked.

"I don't know, but something tells me you're very attractive." Mei said, then she looked at Naruto as if she wanted to express something.

"Why are you looking at me?" Naruto asked.

"Well… do you have a girlfriend?" Mei asked curiously.

"Yes, I have." Naruto said.

Mei was upset by the answer she heard, but not so much. After all, she was going to try to get him, even if he had been a girlfriend from the very beginning.

Then, Naruto added, "I have two."

Mei was surprised when she heard Naruto's answer. Then Mei started asking questions in surprise, "How so? Have two at once? How did they accept it?"

"How can I say that? I have a somewhat flirtatious personality. I have a problem more precisely if I see someone I like, I can't help but talk to them. They objected for a while when I told them about my situation, but then they both realized that they loved me very much. That's why they accepted the situation. And I promised them that I would always love them no matter what and that I would never leave them alone." Naruto said.

"Pretty strange. You must be lucky to have them both love you." Mei said.

Then she asked, "How long do you plan to stay in Kiri?"

"Hm? So you let me stay? I was thinking you wouldn't let anyone stay who hasn't revealed their identity yet." Naruto said with a smile.

"You may still be seen as unreliable, but it is clear that you are a talented person. That's why I want to hold you while I can still catch you." Mei said.

"Oh? Do you want to hold me? I would like to say that my price is expensive." Naruto said with a grin.

"Hmm… I think I can pay off somehow." Mei said while sipping her wine with disguised lust.

Naruto had been staying in Kiri for half a year. During this time he was constantly training and working on fuinjutsu.

He had grown stronger this past half year. He had decided some time ago that it was time for him to move on to the next stage as his body was able to handle Kurama's version 2 form without any problems.

So after a while of staying in Kiri, he entered the mind field to take all of Kurama's chakra.

*Flashback Jutsu*

After Naruto entered his mind space, he appeared next to Kurama.

"Kurama, it's time to take the next step." said Naruto.

"Okay, this is my first time, please be gentle." Kurama said.

"H- Hai." Naruto said while feeling something strange inside him.

Then, several chains came out of Naruto's body and began to slowly wrap around Kurama's body.

Red chakra began to enter Naruto's body through the chains as soon as the chains touched Kurama.

Naruto sat on the ground and began to suck Kurama's chakra, closing his eyes with a serious expression. He would have seen Kurama breathing rapidly and its body writhing strangely if he had opened his eyes.

"Ahmm~" Kurama said something in a low voice as it felt the chains slowly wrap around its body.

After a while, Kurama got used to the situation and was now watching Naruto with a strange expression.

At that moment, a red-haired woman appeared near Naruto.

"Naruto? Are you?" Kushina said with cheerfulness as she approached Naruto.

Naruto opened his eyes and looked at her, "Hm? Yes, he is me."

"Don't you recognize me? I am your mother, I am Kushina Uzumaki." Kushina said.

"I know you. How can I say it? It feels a little weird talking to someone I've never seen in my life." Naruto said.

"I- I understand you. Anyway, what are you doing right now?" Kushina said while looking at Naruto and Kurama.

"I am absorbing its chakra." Naruto replied.

"And why is it standing so calmly?" Kushina asked while feeling awkward about the current situation.

"Because I made a deal with it. Why are you wasting your remaining short time on these questions? Don't you have more important questions to ask?" said Naruto.

Kushina smiled and sat next to Naruto and said, "You're right, I'm wondering more about you right now. How do you live? Are you eating healthy? Do you have friends? Do you have a girlfriend? How is your situation in the village?"

"Sigh* Calm down, I'll answer all your questions anyway. I live comfortably and healthily. I have friends and I have a girlfriend too."

"Oh? So you have a girlfriend! What's she like? Is she beautiful? Is she a good one? What's her name?" Kushina asked curiously.

Kushina even more curiously asked when Naruto didn't answer, "What happened? Or is there a special occasion? Is she already pregnant!?"
