Chapter 6: The Perfect Act III

...........

"Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face." ~ Jim Butcher

"You want to talk to me about Isaac?" Such words wouldn't be so strange considering the popularity of Isaac in school... If they didn't come from the mouth of the Hokage himself, the leader of the village.

The words were even more alarming considering the identity of the other individual in the room, "I want him to join the roots."

"Any particular reason, Danzo?" The Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi calmly questioned Danzo, the man often called the darkness of Konoha.

"You know as well as I do why," Danzo responded with a sneer, not at all deceived by Sarutobi's apparent puzzlement, "The kid is dangerous. I want him to join the roots, or at least we should get rid of him!"

"Impossible," Sarutobi firmly shook his head, "The Uchiha won't allow it, and if you leave any clue, our already tense relationship with the Uchiha will deteriorate further. You know how troublesome Sharingan is."

"It's worth it!" Danzo slammed the table in what seemed to be irritation, one of the few who would dare to be so disrespectful to the Hokage, "The kid is not only a genius, he's also too charismatic! We can't allow him to live freely unless we want a Uchiha Hokage!!"

"Danzo, are you not overreacting? You're speaking of a child," Sarutobi calmly shook his head, "I'll make sure to guide this child so he can be helpful to Konoha in the future. We'll maybe have this conversation again after his graduation, so make sure not to make any unsightly move."

"You!!" Danzo uttered in the most venomous way possible, making his anger apparent, "You'll regret this Hiruzen!! Konoha will fall because of you!!" Danzo proceeded to show himself out directly after throwing his usual childish tantrum, slamming the door behind him.

Such are politics, two veterans fighting for a talent they want for themselves without saying it outwardly, and maybe things would've gone differently had this meeting happened after the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's Attack, but that had yet to happen.

"Ah," Sarutobi let out a sigh after he took a smoke of his smoking pot, "Little too late, Danzo," He proceeded to shake his head as he traced his fingers on a crystal ball placed on his desk.

The crystal then showed the amusing scene of the trio of Might Guy, Might Duy, and Isaac training vigorously, their youthful cheers almost managing to awaken the whole village.

'Danzo's right about one thing, Isaac's character is very good, almost too good,' He let out another puff of smoke before musing further, 'However, I know his secret, thus why he's controllable.'

And as if to attest to Sarutobi's thoughts, the training ended, and Isaac quickly went back home.

Today, however, was special as Isaac didn't take a shower right away, instead, he asked the three clones in his house, "Any progress?"

"We've looked through most medical records, and we found nothing regarding bringing people back to life," One of the clones responded, "However, there are notes saying that the hidden village Sunagakure in the land of wind has something like that, but they are merely rumors. I can't validate their authenticity."

"Also, such a technique will surely have consequences we can not bear," Another clone added, "And even if we do successfully bring back our loved ones, they are ninjas, they'll definitely put themselves in danger again, the same for all the others."

"I know... I know," Isaac slumped back on a nearby chair, his hand covering his face as he continued, "Sometimes I really really hate my classmates for being so cheerful about death, but I know they just want the best for Konoha."

"You mean?" A clone raised a brow, "We can abandon the plan?"

"More like... Getting over my delusions. That's just not possible," Isaac shook his head with a sigh, "We should just focus on what we do, making Konoha a better place for everyone else."

Isaac remained silent for a minute, seemingly in deep thought, "I'm gonna take a shower." And that he did, slowly basking in the hot water of his own self-made hot tub.

'Finally left?' Isaac mused as he no longer sensed the prying eyes spying on him, 'Well, if he continued to spy on me even while showering... That would be weird, to say the least.'

However, just to make sure, Isaac still hid his face using his forearm, acting as if he was dozing off while his eyes slowly rotated, forming two tomoe Sharingan, his forearm certainly not stopping him from sensing what he wanted to sense, if he was still being monitored.

There is a reason Sarutobi wouldn't spy on most Uchihas, his spying technique isn't without flaws after all, nothing ever is. The Uchihas with Sharingan would certainly be able to detect it.

It's especially easier for Isaac to detect the prying eyes since he awakened the second tomoe. The technique uses chakra to spy on others, thus sensory ninjas can also easily sense it.

'The act is mostly over,' Isaac mused, letting out a hum of satisfaction, 'Time to change my chakra signature and fade away for a while.'

Isaac was very thankful at this point for his research of the transformation technique as it allowed him to mimic the chakra signature of animals and even humans.

Therefore, Isaac soon dived into the ground, going to his home way below the ground, changing his chakra signature to that of a worm while one of his clones took the role of the main body.

Isaac dove down and down, almost reaching five hundred meters beneath the ground before getting to his home.

What appeared before his eyes was a very different scene than the previously cramped and hot room. He not only changed his underground home so it's much deeper but he also turned it into a mansion.

It also wasn't that hot despite being much deeper underground, and that's due to a relatively perfect and discreet ventilation system that he installed, basically a punch of tight tunnels leading to the outstrikes of Konoha. They certainly weren't doing that good of a job getting oxygen and colder air here, but they'd do for now.

The mansion was perfectly built as if it had been polished for months. After all, Isaac would settle for nothing less than perfection if it's within his capabilities. The mansion was even well furnished.

Yet strangely, there were only about thirty clones in the underground mansion when there should be hundreds considering the way he exploits the shadow clone jutsu and the growth of his chakra.

Isaac, after all, wasn't doing physical training for nothing. Chakra grows with the growth of physical and spiritual strength.

For spiritual strength, Isaac found out that it grows naturally as he slowly perfects things, constant and seemingly never-ending growth. In contrast, meditation didn't help much.

Moreover, he also found out that after awakening Sharingan, his chakra growth accelerated significantly, especially after the awakening of the second stage of Sharingan, two tomoe Sharingan.

However, even with all of that, Isaac still only measured his chakra reserve to be that of a top genin at most, too limited by his undeveloped by his six years old body.

That still allowed him to create multiple shadow clones at the same time, and across the past few months, he created many, the majority of which are not in Konoha.

Therefore, Isaac left the clones in the mansion to their own thing as he headed to his bed, lying there comfortably before performing exactly five seals, showing the fruit of his labor for the past months.

Isaac closed his eyes for a dozen seconds or so before opening them again, finding himself in a completely different place, a cozy wooden house in what seemed to be a different body.

It was the body of a middle-aged man, yet Isaac treated it as a normal thing, standing up and fixing his clothes and hair, 'The perfect act is over. Now it's time to take action.' He mused before transforming into a small bird and flying out of the window.

Honestly, it was that easy to gain flight, which made Isaac suspicious if ninjas have some kind of mental deficiency and that someone like Tobirama is a rarity.

The ability to use the transformation technique is known in the story as Isaac clearly remembers Naruto transforming into the Nine-Tail Demon Fox, so couldn't someone with sufficient chakra control think of transforming into a flying animal?

Isaac flew high above the village, looking down on the villagers basically living in slavery, forced to work in the fields by the nobles to get barely enough food to feed one person.

They work tirelessly for the benefit of the nobles who enrich themselves at the cost of everyone else, thus leading to stagnation, and Isaac hates very few things more than stagnation.

It's one of the enemies of perfection, only a little below decline which is also slowly but surely spreading throughout the world, "Nobles needn't exist anymore," Isaac murmured, his clutches extending to the world.
