Real Strength of ROOT

As Team 7 has left for Suna, and then Team 8 that just returned from a mission were dispatched as reinforcements, Tsunade sat in the Hokage office while frowning.

The cause of her worry was the ROOT ninja, Shiori, that Danzo forced her to enter into the Team 7.

Suddenly, Danzo kicked the door and entered the office, as if he owned the place.

"How did you like my gift, Princess Tsunade? Don't you think she will be able to protect the Jinchuriki?"

Well, Tsunade had no patience of playing politics.

She smashed the table, and glared at Danzo, who was unfazed.

"Why is such a talented ninja in the ROOT? Why wasn't the Hokage informed!? Who do you think you are, Danzo!?"

He shrugged without a care.

"She just recently learned the Flying Thunder God Jutsu, that's why I took her out of ROOT and gave her to you under Team 7, didn't I?

I am the leader of ROOT, who protects Konoha. There is no way I would have hidden her after she mastered that jutsu from you."

"Hah!? Then what about the chakra enhanced strength!? When did she learn it? Was it not big enough for the Hokage to be informed?"

"She learned that only recently."

"Then, did that Kekkai Genkai appear recently too?"

"No. She had it from birth."

Danzo was feeling smug by angering Tsunade. After Yamato was snatched from him by the Hiruzen, there was no way he would have used Shiori for anything that would get the Hokage's attention. Especially because of her seer ability.

Right now, the ROOT is at it's strongest.

Shiori, Karin Uzumaki, Hinata Hyuga, Torune Aburame are way beyond a normal Kage with their full strength, enhanced by the symbiotes.

And he has hundreds of Symbiote bonded ninjas who can go against jonins like Asuma.

His own arm is a special Symbiote-tech mixed with Hashirama cells and Sharingans. Moreover, he has Shisui's eyes.

He is just waiting for Pain to attack the village and kill Tsunade. Then, the Hokage's position will be his, and he will proceed with the next stage of the plan.

Three clones with Karma of the dead Otsutsuki from the future are already ready for him to take over.

And as the Akatsuki collects the nine bijuus, Hinata will kill them and bring them to him.

He will become even stronger than Hashirama and Madara combined, and bring the whole world under Konoha.

"Why is your ROOT ninja trying to seduce Naruto?"

Tsunade laughed at his statement.

"She is not like a regular ROOT. You can check her tongue. She is only second to me in command, and the heir of the organisation. She didn't go through conventional emotions removal training.

I am getting old, Tsunade. The First Hokage, your Grandpa, said that we must pass on our legacy to the next generation through Will of Fire, right?

"Really, then how about I do a medical checkup for you?"

Tsunade glanced at his bandaged hand. Even though she couldn't detect anything wrong with it, she was suspicious of what Danzo is hiding.

Afterall, it is Danzo.

"No need. I have my own medical ninjas."

He got up, and tossed her a scroll.

"Hinata Hyuga was seen wearing the Akatsuki cloak in the Land of Wind a day ago, stealing jewellery and gauging out the jewellers eyes. Send the information to Kakashi and Guy's team.

If things turn south, Shiori will bring the Jinchuriki back to the village and abandon the Kazekage rescue mission."

Without looking back, Danzo left.

As soon he went away, Tsunade threw her chair out of the window, since she had already destroyed the table.

"Shizune! Bring me some cards and booze!"

She should not have become the Hokage!
