49 Chapter 47

(Thanks for the feedback. I was going to build up strength and then make him a fully fledged root ninja. As for the curse mark, he will get it when he returns to Konoha.)

*Timeskip 18 months*

I was sleeping in my room, which I was given by Raikage when I became a jonin. It was a rule that all the jonin should stay near the Raikage office and be ready to be summoned at any time.

I heard someone open my window and slightly open my eyes to look at the person who entered the room.

Usually anyone would jump out of their bed and prepare for battle, but I knew that no one would dare to sneak up on me after the reputation I built up till now.

I asked in a sleepy tone "What is it Yugito? Is it another mission?"

She shook her head and said "The Raikage office received another mission."

"What's weird about that? Don't tell me you came here just to say that?" I asked.

She shook her head and said "It is from a small ninja clan's survivor, whose clan was wiped out two days ago."

I could tell what is happening. I asked while getting up "Is it him again?"

She nodded and said "That's not all, the person who raised the mission mentioned that he was wearing a black cloak with red clouds on them. People wearing this cloak have been sighted in other places too. I think he is part of some organization."

"I can tell what's happening, give me time to get ready." I said.

"Come to Raikage's office after you are ready." she said and left through the window.

I signed thinking of all the things that happened till now. Everything that happened during the last few months were the mist important days of my life.

I managed to get to the level of jonin, learn the chakra mode of the Third Raikage on my own and got my own unique lightning.

And the most important thing is that I managed to successfully make the Super Soldier Serum. The change the serum brought was phenomenal.

I could break a tree with a simple punch and that wasn't something when using strength or chakra.

I got ready as all this were useless thoughts now. I got ready and went to the Raikage's office. When I opened the door to the Raikage's office, I found Yugito standing beside three other ninjas.

All three had blonde hair. I recognized all of them as I had seen then in the show.

The ninja with blonde hair and dark skin is Darui, the future Raikage. The ninja with blonde hair till his shoulders is Atsui and the female ninja with almost similar hairstyle and huge breasts is Samui.

I entered the room and closed it. A woman with grey hair and dark skin, standing beside the empty chair Raikage sat on, said "I think everyone has heard about the mission a little and we can tell that it is G who attacked the clan with the description we received.

We also think that G is a part of an organization. He has already been killing many genin and ninjas from small clans who aren't part of a village, from every country.

You all must know that a rogue ninja of a village is a shame of the village and must be eliminated, but knowing G, it isn't that easy.

Raikage-sama wanted to deal with this himself, but he is on another mission. So, we out together the best jonin to deal with him as soon as possible.

Samui then stopped Mabui, Raikage's assistant and said "If it is to deal with G, who are Yugito and Hakuto on the team? We all know that they are close to G and will only make the mission more difficult."

Darui also added "I am sorry you say this but, I also don't think Hakuto is fit for this mission. We wouldn't be doing this mission if Hakuto had captured G last month, but since they are friends, Hakuto let him go."

Yugito shouted out "Well then, if you are asked to kill a friend you spent more than 10 years with, would you be able to do it?" and no one could answer that, because even though ninja are meant to be emotionless, they still hesitate when they have to kill someone close to them.

Mabui then added "I know that everyone are against the idea of having Hakuto on the team, but this is Raikage-sama's order. We should all acknowledge the fact that he grew that strong on his own and is now one of the strongest jonin of Kumogakure."

Atsui said "Don't worry guys, if he tries to make out mission difficult, I can handle him. I don't think he is that strong. He just learnt the chakra mode in anger during the chunin exam."

Samui looked at her stupid brother and said "You think he is weak only because you weren't part if the mission in Kirigakure."

Mabui then said "Please stop quarreling and complete the mission. This team was decided by Raikage-sama. We have information that he was spotted by our ninja near the border of the Land of Rain. Raikage-sama has decided to make Samui the leader of the team."

I already predicted that hse would be near the Land of Rain, as this is the home base of Akatsuki, but G joining Akatsuki was something I didn't expect.

They were collecting Tailed beasts and Yugito is also a jinchuriki. So, I didn't expect him to do that.

After Mabui briefed us about the information we had, I could tell our man had some connections with Orichimaru, since the clans he was attacking, all had some or the other special jutsu ot Kekkei Genkai.

So, after that, we were given ten minutes to prepare the necessary tools and assemble at the gate. I just brought out my special glove and wore it.

(Since many were against the idea of swords, I went with the next best thing I had in mind. I will explain about the glove in the next chapter.)

I and Yugito walked towards the gate and Yugito said "Those idiots run their mouths more than their brain."

"Don't worry about that. I was ready for all this when I let go of G last month." I said.

She just looked down and walked. I wanted to change the topic, so I said "Yugito, I asked you out for a date before, but I haven't received any reply from you. Do you know how much I have been waiting for your reply."

She looked at me and said "I was planning on going out for a date after you returned from your mission in Kirigakure, but when I heard what happened between you, Samui, Mabui and Karui I changed my mind."

"We were supposed to wait in the Land of Frost for three days and were stuck in a cave with blizzard outside. Since we had to keep our body temperature from dropping and dying, we did it. It was purely professional." I tried defending myself.

(So, there you have it. A timeskip with some incidents that are better when explained later in the story. If anyone couldn't understand what is happening, let me summarize the important bits that happened during the timeskip.

G became rogue ninja, Hakuto learnt chakra mode, became a jonin, went on a mission with Samui, mabui, karui and Darui involving Kirigakure, made super soldier serum, fought G once and let him go without killing it capturing and asked Yugito out on a date, which failed.

Let me know your thoughts on the chapter. Many might argue that it has similarities with naruto and sasuke, but the story is slightly different. My MC has finally dedicated everything in strength andnhas grown during the timeskip.)
