47 Chapter 46

(I tried to improve the relationship between Yugito and Hakuto, but I don't think I did a good job. Tell me your thoughts on this chapter and suggest more tips on how to get closer to a woman elder tha you, it might be useful for me in real life too.)

The whole week went by and I was just jumping from one branch to another as I occasionally look at Yugito who was also doing the same beside me.

The experience was fun. It wasn't the normal jumping every ninja does. It was the one that has enhanced speed with the help of body flicker jutsu.

Since the speed increased, the thrill also increased. If anyone would think this is weird, then it is same as racing.

A ride on a road will be different when you are going slow and when you are going fast.

The reason I wasn't able to get this technique Yugito was trying to teach us is because we were using a lot of chakra.

When I tried with less chakra, the speed decreased and I could control my movements. That's what we had to do in the technique, control the chakra used.

The technique this thing used was great and it also helped me improve my strength.

The body flicker jutsu uses chakra to push the muscles of the legs to move fast. So, I used the same technique for my hands and the result was pleasing.

I could easily bend a kunai. This method was helpful to help me have strength till I get that Super Soldier Serum.

As we were jumping around, T and G were behind us. I couldn't hear them talk, but figured out later that G ask T "Isn't your sister acting a little different from usual?"

"I felt that too. Ever since they went on that mission, Yugito is talking more than usual. She also looks happy with Hakuto." T replied.

G smiled and said to T "Looks like Hakuto is going to graduate from being my brother to my brother in law."

T also nodded and giggled, thinking of different ways to tease her proud and rude sister.

As for me and Yugito, we just kept going with our training, which didn't feel like training. We reached the end of the forest before we knew it.

Yugito didn't stop. She said "Follow me" and I followed her as we jumped from one building to another in the village.

We went to a steep mountain behind the Raikage office, which was longer than the one the Raikage office was built on.

As we reached the top, Yugito stopped at one place. I walked towards her and my eyes went wide open.

The mountain was among the tallest ones around the village. When we stood there, we got an amazing view of the village covered with clouds and a few houses just barely visible. The sun shining brighter than usual and the cool breeze were something you can't find my previous world.

The air was thin on the top, but staying in the village for more than 9 years, I got used to the thin air.

Yugito smirked when she looked at me and asked "Amazing isn't it?"

I just nodded as I started at the beautiful scenery in front of me, I wasn't talking only about the clouds and the sun, but also Yugito.

She stood before me, covering the sun. The sunlight highlighting her naturally beautiful face wasn't something I can find in my previous world where the beauty depends on the money they spend on cosmetics.

I just kept staring at her. Yugito shook me, only then did I return back to reality. She asked "What happened?" and I said "It was so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes off it."

She thought I was talking about the scenery. As for me, my mind was going crazy. I scolded myself "Remember Hakuto, you had a goal of ruling all the five villages when you arrived here and unlike the usual villains from Naruto, you know the story and know about the future.

Just focus on getting stronger and stop acting like an introvert who met a girl for the first time."

We returned back and went to T and G, who looked at us with a smile. I could guess what was going through their head.

Yugito then got serious and said "Ok, the exam starts next week and we will be leaving tomorrow. Remember, never lower your guard. We are going to the enemy village and will stay there for three days.

We can be killed at any moment, and by we I meant you three. So, stay alert and if you meet a ninja from other villages, just kill without hesitating. Now, go rest. We will leave tomorrow early morning."

We all left and returned to our homes. I also decided to rest without doing anymore training.

The next morning, I stood near the door, with Aki in front of me. She had a worried face and she said "Do you have to become a ninja? Wouldn't it be good if you just learnt to manage our family business with Hiroshi? I heard that chunin exams are dangerous."

I said "Mom, I am not a person who can just sit between papers the whole day."

"Yes I know, you like to sit between women." Aki replied angrily.

I tried to deny that, but she said "I heard everything from the guard that follows you."

"I was just relieving stress. We can talk about this later, after my chunin exams. I have to leave now." I said.

"It's a promise then. You have to return back safely from the chunin exams." she said.

I smiled and nodded. I left the place and headed towards the village to meet my teammates.

I was the last to arrive and after I did, Yugito said "We are going to take the carriage to the border of the Land of Wind and travel by foot from there, escorted by Sunagakure ninja."

It was a good decision, as although the carriage takes more time than when we travel on foot, we would get tired by the time we reach Sunagakure, since the two villages are at the opposite ends of the world.

Although tempting to travel through the desert in a carriage, the village wouldn't allow that and usually assign a ninja to escort us from the country border to the village.

It is a measure to prevent ninjas, not related to the exam, from entering the country borders. Usually, this measure is difficult to take in other countries, but for the Land of Winds, the desert makes it difficult to get to the village without any guide.

The travel through the carriage was smooth, meaning without any troubles. The ride definitely wasn't smooth.

That's what felt weird for me. In this world of Naruto, they invented electricity, lights, radio signals, but couldn't invent a steam engine or suspension.

"Well, no use complaining " I said to myself as we still enjoyed the road trip. After travelling for 6 days, we stood before a camp set up by the Sunagakure to receive genin from other villages.

Everyone of us had different worries. Mine were even more conflicting. I am supposed to be from kumogakure, so I can't kill any kumo ninja.

If I kill anyone from Konoha, although Danzo would easily forgive me, the stupid old man Hiruzen Sarutobi wouldn't. I didn't want to become an enemy of Konoha where all my plans are based on.

Only ninja from Sunagakure, kirigakure and Iwagakure are left. I still have ninja from three villages, but I still had my doubts that it would go that peacefully.

And to make things worse, I spotted a ninja with blue clothes, round glasses and grey hair, who looked at me with a smile.
