34 Chapter 32 Weakness?

Once things calmed down Gramps looked toward Hiro "Well Akashi I believe it's time you introduce the Hagaromo clan to us"

"Of course grandfather. This is Hiro Hagaromo, clan head of the Hagaromo Clan and now a new pillar of our village"

Hearing his introduction Hiro quickly corrected his posture straightening out his back and pointing his horns high in the air.

"During the battle in Kumo, he and his clan members faced great numbers but held on and showed great strength. I think they would make a fine addition grandfather" Akashi spoke truthfully without lies. He was impressed when he first saw them fighting Kumo shinobi and when they stayed behind to Fight A and B.

Tomo Chinoike stepped forward and stood next to Hiro "I too agree on the addition of the Hagaromo clan. They have always been honorable warriors that have upheld the name of the Sage"

Hiro seemed to smile upon hearing this.

"And how you about you Hagaromo Clan leader? Will you and your clan join our village?" Grandfather asked once more waiting for the final confirmation

"Yes, our clan gladly accepts. All we request is land and maybe some shops where our blacksmiths could sell their wares"

"Then it is final. Officially Uzushio is now home to three clans!"

Applause rang throughout the room marking history for our people. Now we just needed the Iburi and the Doi.

...

Once the meeting ended I asked my grandfather about sending us to get the Iburi and Doi but he refused saying we needed rest and that he would send anbu to get them. Not wanting to waste time by resting I forced Oyashiro to our usual training spot.

"Alright, Oyashiro this spar is mostly for me to get used to my eyes. So don't hold back and try to find any weakness you can." Discovering potential weaknesses of the Teiōgan was a must. I rather know my weaknesses before engaging in any major battles where they could potentially be used against me. At least this way I can come up with countermeasures.

"Fine but you're buying me some steam buns after this"

Getting into position Akashi slowly opened his eyes

*Teiōgan*

"Heh Akashi your not the only one with Dojutsu so don't get cocky"

*Ketsuryūgan*

Instantly two powerful Dojutsus crossed eyes releasing pressure on their surroundings. Neither Dojutsu was willing to submit.

"Oyashiro for our first test let's see how strong I am against Genjutsu." The Chinoike were legendary for their Genjutsu and were even capable of putting an Uzumaki under it even if for a little while. Another ability the Genjutsu has is mind and memory reading. Making them the best interrogators in the village which is why they were given the positions of Police and Interrogation!

Akashi was curious under such ocular power how would his eyes hold out?

*Genjutsu: Sanguine Dream*

Looking around Akashi found himself standing on a lake of blood as its tendrils tried to hold him down.

This genjutsu is impressive no matter how many times I see it but it's time to end it.

Blood snakes began to come out of the water intent on attacking me but instantly froze in place. Oyashiro who was watching this was instantly surprised realizing he could no longer control the dream.

"Time to wake up to reality" As Akashi spoke the world seemed to shatter as the dream ended

"Tch, so you're even more resistant to Genjutsu's" Oyashiro was frustrated about that since it was his favorite move against me but seeing it break so easily irked him a bit.

Well, I may be resistant to genjutsu but it doesn't make me invincible to it. Tsukuyomi and Kotoamtsukami are most likely to succeed if used on me. So that is one weakness accounted for. Looks like I need to learn how to fight with my eyes closed which isn't impossible with my mind's eye. Just in case I ever face Itachi.

"Alright Oyashiro I want you to try and beat my ankle break technique" I needed to see if this skill was as OP as it looked or if I was just lucky and caught them off guard

Our practice went on like this for many hours with Oyashiro falling down a couple of times but eventually, he stopped falling. Apparently, this technique wasn't invincible when the opponent strengthened their lower body with chakra.

After Oyashiro started strengthing his core he stopped falling. At most, he would stumble but that was about it.

Hmm looks like this technique is really good for catching people off guard or on shinobi who don't have good chakra control. Well, I feel this isn't the only way to resist. Let's take Guy for example he is someone who has trained his body to the limit and practically has full control. I doubt I could make him stumble with this technique. Another weakness would be Sharingan and Byakugan. Even though I have yet to use it on them I have a feeling their eyes would help them resist. It is only a simple movement technique after all.

I wouldn't be surprised if A and B figured this out already. They are both really talented and if they did figure it out I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually spread their knowledge to get me killed. Well, at least this is still useful for catching people off guard or on canon fodder.

Now onto my next ability "Zone". This is just broken it slows down time and pushes my eyes to the limit reading all movements and perfecting my movements and techniques but it requires heavy chakra usage. Though I won't deceive myself and say it has no weakness. Just because I haven't found one doesn't mean there isn't one. It's like Itachi said every Jutsu has a weakness.

At the end of the day, my skills have increased quite a bit thanks to ocular power but I still have many weaknesses to cover and I have just the solution.

"Looks like its time Chomei starts paying his rent"
