14 Chapter 13 New Clan!

Next Day -

"Akashi hurry we're gonna be late, the whole village is probably already there."

Eventually, I ran over groggily half dressed with messy hair. I had spent the whole day before running and practicing chakra control with Kuroko Sensei.

"Really Akashi you can't go out like this your the only heir to be the next clan leader. This is why I told you to sleep yesterday but instead, you were playing with leaves."

"Haha, sorry Mah"

After we were done getting ready we quickly headed over to the center of the village and my family stood beside all the Elders representing the Uzumaki.

"Sheesh we made it just in time"

Hearing this my mom glared at me but what I said it was true the moment we lined up my grandfather came up to the stand and gave a speech about the Will of Whirlpools. I really didn't expect us to have something like this but I guess you ain't a village unless you have some propaganda.

After giving many inspirational speeches my Grandfather finally got to the main point of today's gathering.

"Fellow members of our great home and village today I am proud to announce the establishment of a new clan in Uzushiogakure. The Chinoike Clan"

Right on queue a little over 300 people entered the stands all with greyish-blonde hair wearing white haoris carrying the symbol of a red dragon.

{ I was unable to find the Chinoike clan symbols so instead I made one up based on the clan Dojutsu }

While they were entering the stands an older man went next to my Grandfather with other elders. While not as old as Gramps since he was already well over 100. The man was still up there in years.

Gramps stepped aside to allow the old men to step onto the podium.

"Hello, all citizens of Uzushiogakure I Tomo Chinoike the current Clan Head gratefully thank the village for offering us a home. Many of you may not know much about us as we have been reclusive for a number of years. To show our support for the village over 150 Clan members have decided to join the shinobi forces in order to protect this new home we have been given. This is only the first step we will be taking to truly become part of this village and to fully turn this land into a permanent home. I would also like to offer my thanks to the Uzumaki clan for aiding us in our time of need and hopefully our clans can see each other as one family striving for the same thing. Peace and prosperity."

Once the old man was done speaking cheers could be heard all over. Everyone could see that this was the first step to us gaining stability and strength.

At the stands, one could see many Uzumaki hugging and welcoming the Chinoike as well. This shouldn't come as a surprise though as most Uzumaki are affectionate by nature. Coincidentally the Chinoike didn't know of this and returned the hugs awkwardly.

Once the village had calmed down Lord Tomo stepped down from the podium with other Chinoike elders and came over to my section where my family was and sat beside us.

While this was happening my Grandfather went back up to the podium.

"I know we are all very excited but before the celebrations start I have one more announcement. The village will be establishing an academy for all children who wish to be shinobi. Our Uzumaki clan and the Chinoike clan will be sending children to study as well. There will be no tuition required and food will also be provided. The classes will also be tailor suited for the children and we won't be holding back in teaching them various ninjutsu."

Once again the villagers cheered. Many had been wishing to become shinobi for so long and help protect the village. The citizens felt this even more when they were invaded as they were helpless to support the Uzumaki clan that protected them.

"The construction of the academy will be completed in 2 years with a full plan for the curriculum and prepared teachers to give the children their absolute best. Also, I would like to announce that the idea of inviting to Chinoike and establishing an academy was actually proposed by my grandson Akashi Uzumaki. He is a very shy talented boy and wouldn't want the attention but I could in no way take credit for these changes so decided to announce my grandson's involvement in the matter. He will also be participating in the academy in 2 years so look forward to that as well"

Argh why did Gramps do this I didn't want recognition because I was shy but because I don't want a target on my head so soon. Sigh, what's done is done all I can do is prepare faster.

Multiple POV Changes -

Konohagakure

"What!? You say Uzushio now has another clan and it's the Chinoike? How can that be possible Uzushio is a one-clan village." Asked a confused Hokage

"I told you we should have finished them off after the invasion! but you kept stopping me saying that we should respect their decision to cut ties with us. Now look where that leaves us the Uzumaki are instead getting stronger and have added a Dojutsu clan to their ranks! I say we invade them right now!"

"Silence Danzo I'm the Hokage, not you! only we are to blame for not assisting them when they needed it. If we had helped them in their time of need they would have supported us even more but sadly that is no longer possible."

"Hiruzen what do you think we should do the Uzumaki are growing too powerful and in a couple of years they may become one of the great villages. We need to reestablish a connection with them before it's too late." Said an anxious Koharu

"Hm, I heard that the Uzumaki are establishing an academy as well which is also concerning. I heard that all these changes were done because of a 3-year-old boy."

"For such a talent to have appeared in the Uzumaki! If he had only been born earlier we could've requested for him to be sent to become a Jinchuriki instead of that loud girl who only causes problems and then I could've brought him into root turning him into a weapon for the leaf!" Danzo is once again lost in his delusions

"For now all we can do is wait there is nothing we can currently do to the Uzumaki we can't even get our spies into their land without getting captured."

Whether it was in the Hokage office or in other parts of the world almost all nations were having similar topics on the surprising addition of the Chinoike clan and the new academy created within Uzushiogakure.
