Heading Off

"Where the heck were you, Sasuke!"

Suigetsu grabbed my collar as Obito brought me to Suigetsu, Karin and Jugo.

Keeping my character as Sasuke, I stared at Suigetsu uninterested, leading him to leave my collar.

"Now, who the heck is this guy!?"

Karin shouted at Obito, and I thought of her as annoying instinctively. Oh. So not just Sasuke's memories, but his thought process is also bleeding into me.

"Karin, Suigetsu, Jugo, we are being hired by the Akatsuki for a task. And for its payment, I will get this wannabe Madara to help me kill Konoha's elders and have him return Itachi's corpse along with his eyes."

"Akatsuki!?"

Karin shouted.

"Wannabe Madara?"

Obito whispered.

"Kill Konoha's elders!?"

Suigetsu shouted.

"Now, do you want to continue being on team with me, or not?"

"I will follow you everywhere, Sasuke-kun!"

Karin said something which led me to be more cautious around her. She has the making of a stalker. And she has the best ability to do that too.

"I will follow Sasuke."

Jugo, another Sasuke simp, agreed as usual.

Suigetsu looked at each of us, and then shrugged his shoulders.

"Well, Kisame is there, isn't it? I want to fight that guy and get Samehada."

Speaking of Samehada, isn't it a living being? Maybe Isshiki won't be able to shrink it? While using such a large sword isn't exactly to my tastes, if I can get a sword with Samehada's OP abilities, it would be nice. This sword of Kusanagi doesn't have any special abilities like Orochimaru's original one. I will look into Orochimaru's hideouts to learn Edo Tensei and maybe he has information on how Samehada was created.

But for now, I won't really focus much on getting an OPier sword.

"So now, we are no longer Team Hebi. We are Team Taka, and we are after a much bigger prey, Konoha."

I said with edginess, while activating my three-tomoe sharingan. My vision improved a lot, and as I saw the reflection on my sword, I reaffirmed my conclusion.

Sasuke is still the second coolest character after Minato.

I sheathed my sword, and looked back at Obito.

"Then, I will bring you to the Akatsuki hideout."

We were sucked into a swirl of Kamui, and then brought inside the Akatsuki hideout. With the use of Sharingan, I was able to make out us going into the Kamui dimension for a moment. So he can't teleport anywhere without first going into the Kamui dimension first... atleast with only this eye.

Keeping that info in mind, I looked around the hideout.

The atmosphere was very damp, signifying that it is indeed located inside the Land of Rain. Kisame was there, and there was no sign of Konan and Pain, meaning that they are preparing for attacking Konoha.

So I don't have much time... I have to not only attack Killer Bee and hope that my plan will work out, but I also have to go to Konoha and kill Danzo just after Pain revives everyone in the middle of confusion.

Suigetsu tried to attack Kisame, and Obito easily blocked him swinging Zabuza's sword without much of a care.

"Don't be difficult, Suigetsu."

Kisame is way out of our league right now.

"Alright. What do you want us to do now?"

"Go and capture the Eight-tails."

...

"Alright. Team Taka, we are heading to Kumo."

I have to hurry before I miss the golden opportunity to kill Danzo.

"Wait a moment. Wear these cloaks first."

Obito put four Akatsuki cloaks on the table. Yeah, no way I am going to wear a terrorist outfit of this world. It would be more difficult to keep my association with Akatsuki as less as possible.

I looked at Obito as if he is an idiot.

"We are going to infiltrate a big shinobi village. And you want us to wear something that screams that we are after their tailed beast?"

"Yes."

"..."

"..."

"What? Scared? I expected more from Itachi's brother."

"Kisame, do you really think that your taunt is going to work?"

"Yes. You are already holding the cloak."

Well... I may not plan to wear it outside, but why shouldn't I atleast keep an original cloak that will make the Naruto fans burn from jealousy?

"Team Taka, let's go and hunt a smaller prey before going for the bigger one."

I just hope Killer Bee doesn't kill me. Though, I want to test out my Mangekyo Sharingan. And he is the best opponent to test it out.

Though before that, I have to get used to fighting a little even though I have Sasuke's memories and instincts with me. I don't have much time, so it's best to adjust with battle.
