17 Wave mission [1]

It's been one and a half months since team 7's formation, things were getting interesting. Naruto continued his relationship with his girls while sending clones to do those boring D-rank missions. He also started mildly training Konohamaru and two of his friends in ninja arts. He started training his Flying thunder god technique. He made his own seal with the jutsu formula and can even do the 2nd level. He increased his restriction seal to level 8.

During this time they are currently working on their team work and formations. All the while doing their D-rank missions. Ducky chan was coming around the fact that Naruto leading them, but his Uchiha pride can't allow him sometimes. Banshee started fangirling less and less, but it never fully vanished. Naruto successfully learned from his sensei about the art of coming late and giving excuses.

Now they were walking towards the Hokage office after catching Tora 'The cat'. Naruto was informed about Tazuna requesting for a C-rank escort mission through the shadow following the Hokage. He was excited to duel with Zabuza.

-At Hokage Office-

"You know I feel guilty about finding the cat now" Naruto said looking at the cat crushed by Daimyo's wife.

"If she hug it like this every time, no wonder the cat runs away." Sakura sympathised.

"Even I feel pity for Tora's life" Sasuke chimed in.

After the woman left, the team went in front of the mission desk. There was Hiruzen handing out missions and Iruka helping him.

"So would you guys like to clean the Inuzuka Kennel? or would you like a babysitting mission?" Hiruzen asked while looking through the scroll in the table.

"Wait jiji, don't you think we are ready for C-rank mission? Our team work is now better. It's boring to do D-rank mission" said Naruto. Hearing that Sasuke and Sakura nodded.

"I think they are ready Hokage sama" Kakashi confirmed.

"But they are fresh genin" Iruka protested.

"It's okay Iruka. Naruto wants a C-rank mission. Let's give him a chance" Hiruzen confirmed and called in Tazuna. There came an drunken Tazuna looking at the protection detail assigned for him.

"Hmph. My name is Tazuna, the master builder. Are these brats supposed to protect me?" then he looked at Naruto and was about to say something when Naruto said "Be careful, brats like us can separate your head from your shoulder in a fraction of a second" with a serious but evil smile.

Something told Tazuna that Naruto meant business and a shiver run through his spine.

"Don't worry I'm their jonin sensei, I'll also be coming along" Kakashi reassured.

"The sensei is fine, but I don't trust these brats. Hope they don't shit their pants when they face some bandits" Tazuna insulted them.

"Don't worry I always pack extra set of clothes. If you are so concerned, I'll give you the honor of washing my pants" Naruto replied with mockery. Everybody in the room embarrassed at the reply but also giggled.

"That's enough Naruto." Both Kakashi and Iruka said at the same time trying to diffuse the situation.

"Everyone let's meet up in an hour or so. Make sure that you have everything packed for atleast a week long mission" Kakashi instructed.

After a few hours Naruto went to the East gate prepared. He even took his Red Fury with him.

"NARUTO!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS, YOU'RE LATE!!" Sakura yelled, and Sasuke humphed.

"Sakura, is Kakashi sensei here?" Naruto asked.

"No"

"Then I'm not late, am I?" Naruto concluded.

At that time Kakashi and Tazuna was walking toward them.

"Sorry, our client wants to buy some liquor, so we were late." Kakashi explained.

"I thought you were lost in the path of life, but you were lost in the path of liquor. sigh" hearing what Naruto said both Tazuna and Kakashi eyebrow twitched.

"Okay let's head out" Kakashi instructed.

Everyone was now heading towards Land of Waves. Naruto was in the front, Kakashi was in the back, Tazuna was in the center, Sakura was in the left and Sasuke was in the right. It has been 5 hours they started walking. While they were walking Naruto sensed two chunin level chakra signature in the puddle of water in front of them. He then smirked and looked at Kakashi, who also noticed the puddle of water gave his iconic eye smile.

After the group crossed the puddle, two ninjas came out of the puddle with clawed gauntlet in each of them connected by a metallic chain of shurikens. They came in reeling Kakashi by their chain and ripped him apart, seeing that Tazuna was terrified, Sasuke was frozen in place.

"KAKASHI SENSEI!!!!" Sakura yelled.

"Protect Tazuna" Naruto ordered.

Hearing Naruto, Sakura stood in front of Tazuna and Sasuke came out of his stupor and went to protect the client. Naruto vanished in an insane burst of speed and appeared behind one of the shinobi knocking him out with a chop at the back of his neck.

Seeing Naruto tackling the shinobi, Sasuke couldn't stand still, it was finally for him to show them how an elite Uchiha fight. So he went towards the other shinobi clashing head to head, only to be pushed back against a tree due to sheer force and a claw coming towards his face. Seeing this Naruto cursed internally sent a shadow clone to support Sakura and ran in between both of them with his sword unsheathed.

He quickly sliced off his gauntlet hand and knocking him out, not before getting slightly cut in his shoulder. During this happening all Sasuke could see was a claw towards his face and then he could only feel the blood on his face, seeing Sasuke's action Kakashi ,who was hiding to see his team performance rushed to help his but couldn't reach in time. Thankfully Naruto dealt with it. "Naruto are you alright" Kakashi asked terrified to which Naruto nodded.

Kakashi tied up the knocked out shinobi while Naruto cauterize the bleeding hand of the other shinobi with a small fire jutsu. While they were busy Sasuke was throwing up due to blood in his face and Sakura was obviously helping him.

Kakashi finished his restraining the shinobi, was helping Naruto and was slightly surprised the wounds were healing at visible pace, seeing Kakashi's reaction Naruto just eye smiled , Sasuke was finished puking and cleaned off the blood, while Tazuna was tensed at this situation. While Naruto was nude at top changing his shirts Sasuke commented "Hmph dobe, next time don't come between fights you might get hurt more".

Hearing that Naruto snapped, rushed towards Sasuke punched him in the gut, he spitted some bile and Naruto pinned him to a tree by his throat.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING NARUTO!!! BAKA!!!" Sakura yelled and ran towards them only to be restrained by Kakashi.

"What the hell was that back there asshole, we had a formation, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO AND FUCK UP!!" Naruto growled.

"I HAD IT HANDLED DOBE!!' Sasuke shouted back.

Naruto punched him again in his gut and once again held him by his neck.

"NO YOU DIDN'T!! YOU WERE AN INCH AWAY FROM A CLAW PIERCED IN YOUR FACE AND AN IMMEDIATE DEATH!!! WHY THE FUCK YOU HAD TO BREAK FORMATION, WHAT IF THERE WAS A THIRD ENEMY HIDING FOR RIGHT OPPORTUNITY TO KILL THE CLIENT ALONG WITH SAKURA!!! WHERE WOULD YOUR PRIDE GO AND WITH WHAT FACE WILL YOU GO BACK TO VILLAGE REPOTING THAT YOU CAN'T PROTECT YOUR CLIENT AT YOUR FIRST C-RANK MISSION ALONG WITH YOUR DEAD TEAMMATE!! THEY WILL THROW YOUR ASS AT T&I FOR INSUBORDINATION!! NEXT TIME IF SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS, I WON'T CARE ABOUT THE CIVILIAN COUNCIL BACKING YOUR ASS UP, I'LL CUT OFF YOUR HANDS AND LEGS AND DRIVE MY SWORD RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!! LET'S SEE WHAT THE UCHIHA NAME AND PRIDE GET'S YOU IN THE UNDERWORLD!! I PROMISE YOU THAT!!" Naruto growled with anger.

Saying that Naruto let go of his neck and Sasuke slumped down gasping for air. Kakashi watching all this just stood there silently watching the exchange. Sakura was contemplating what Naruto said about her dying if there was another shinobi lurking around. Tazuna was frozen in place due to the red headed blonde. "Naruto are you okay" Kakashi asked concerned while Naruto was washing his hands off the blood.

Seeing what Kakashi meant "I'm fine sensei, I've killed animals and beasts before." he said non-chalantly.

"You did bad Sasuke, You let your pride cloud your judgement, what if like Naruto said there was a 3rd enemy, never assume anything during a battle. And Sakura you did good protecting the client, also try to re-evaluate everything after a fight before going up against your teammate, try to grasp every single thing, your personal feeling clouded your judgement when Naruto confronted Sasuke, which also included your safety." Kakashi lectured them.

Naruto then made 4 clones and took the prisoners towards Konoha and said he will report to Hokage about the situation. Turning towards Kakashi he asked "What are we going to do with our lying client" while pointing towards Tazuna. Tazuna then gulped and told everything about Land of waves, Gato and his attrocities. Kakashi was reluctant to go further, but Naruto said that "We need to continue this mission sensei. I don't want to see people suffer, if I can help it"

To which Sakura nodded, Tazuna was looking at Naruto like he was a treasure, surprisingly Sasuke was silent, he's still angry at Naruto's action against him. Seeing these reactions Kakashi caved in and they continued their journey.
