In Daimyo's Mansion, inner room~

I stared at the prince. But stayed silent. I wanted to know what this boy would say. A boy the same age as Sasuke.
If it was any other kid. I would have called it ridiculous to even consider. But this boy has been proving his intellect since the day he got here.
And after he read the scroll, his plastered calm face, finally contorted into one of anger.
In his anger he faced the Hokage and insulted him directly.
I was surprised but the current situation was more important.
The prince took one of the scrolls and glanced at me. His facial expression hard to tell. But I could detect a bit of worry, and a bit of disgust towards the scroll…
I took the scroll and opened it carefully. What could possibly be in the scroll that made the polite young prince lash at the Hokage?
I wanted to know, so I started to read.
As I kept reading the scroll, I found what the scroll was for. It was mission orders for the last ten years, made by Danzo himself.
As I read to the part of the Kyuubi incident. My Sharingan activated on its own, as I read faster.
'Make Uchihas defend the civilians, so we can cause a rift between them and the clans. By saying they didn't support on purpose.'
'Spread Rumors', saying the Uchiha controlled the Kyubii with their eyes.'
'Follow Uchiha Ninja's as they go on undefined missions, where death is not rare. Kill and secure eyes.'
'Start a rift between the village and the Uchiha. And push them in a corner.'
'Gathering the Eye project…'
My mind went blank. Anger took over me.
I thought of what would have happened if Danzo succeeded. What would have happened if Mitsu-sama's Samurai let that Psychopath live…
And he had been doing this kind of things for years… Does the Hokage really not know of it?
I could have lost my family, my clan, Sasuke.... and EVERYTHING! NO!
My anger started building. I have always been a pacifist, since I had seen war at the age of 4. I never want to see that again.
But…
I could feel my tomoes started spinning. My eyes were getting hotter.
My anger was focusing on my eyes.
'I will not stand for this… I will protect this village, and my clan. I will get justice for everyone in this village.
Danzo was a cancer. He has plotted against almost everyone.'
My eyes changed. I could feel it.
I looked at the Hokage,
"I don't want to see war. But, if Danzo's crimes aren't judged… I wouldn't take this lying down!"
I glared at the Hokage who was already in despair. Kakashi-taichou was surprised to see my eyes. And Shisui was looking at me with concern…

As for Mitsu-sama… He was calm with a sympathetic smile.

Itachi's eyes have evolved to their highest form… The Mangekyo Sharingan.
[A/N: Kakashi's knowledge is limited.]
But I don't blame him for awakening it after reading that scroll. He must have realized what we have all been doing…
We have been playing in Danzo's tune that the Hokage enabled.
I glanced at Sarutobi, he seems to have aged quite a bit after this exchange.
A kid showed him reality, Huh?…
But we need orders. We can't wait here and do nothing. Tomorrow could turn into a war…
And as I was wondering what to say. Mitsu-sama started talking.
"I know how you feel Itachi… Your eyes changing should be testament to that…
I wish we had found about this sooner… But I believe you and everyone else knows. That these scrolls will change nothing…
The ones who want to commit the coup, will only get a better excuse after seeing the scrolls."
I was surprised by the mature deduction of the prince. He was right, simply giving them the scroll would change nothing, but give the rebels more reason to carry out the plan.
The prince continued, "I assure you I won't let Danzo's crimes go unnoticed, and even the other elders will be investigated. I hardly believe, this could have been done by a single man without enough support…
But for now, we have a war to avert! Will you help Itachi? And you, Shisui?"
Itachi was one of the smartest Ninjas in all of Konoha, I was sure he knew which was more important.
But for Shisui..
"Mitsu-sama, is there really no other way? Please help my clan… I beg of you…"
Mitsu-sama, went near Shisui and clutched his shoulders, "Shaggy… You have worked as my aide for 2 weeks and you should know. I would't do anything irrational… If there was a way to talk and make reason with the Uchiha rebels, I would go for that.
[A/N: Shaggy is Shisui's petname, given to him by Mitsu. It's an intimate gesture!]
If this was a coup attempted by the Aburame, then that approach would have a chance to work…
The rebels have been backed into a corner by Danzo. They won't be able to just take sorry as an answer…
People's lives will be lost. Innocents… Families… Children… An outer force might attack the village, if the spies report of the internal discord…
So tell me… Uchiha Shisui,
As a citizen of Fire Country… How would you weight the lives of all the citizens you have sworn to protect,
Against the rebels that want to cause a strife?
Uchiha Shisui, What is more important?
The village… or the group of rebels?"

I was surprised by the kids question. No, I should not call him a kid anymore... I looked at the Uchiha.
Shisui started crying. He knew the answer. Of course, he knew. He was a compassionate person. Who loved the village more than most of the Ninjas. He loved his friends, his clan and his family…
Shisui cried tears of blood as he managed to say, "I have sworn to protect the smiles of my best friend and his brother. I will extend that promise to every family in Konoha.
Mitsu-sama…
I will comply with your plan." He sobbed as the blood-mixed tears hit the ground.
Shisui did a dogeza. I looked at Itachi who was looking at Shisui with sad eyes.
And at that moment we heard Mitsu-sama.
"I want someone to call Nara Shikaku, Please bring him here as fast as possible! Also, get medics. Please hurry! We don't have time to waste!"

Later in the Evening- Daimyo's Mansion~

I have been summoned in the Daimyo's mansion by a ANBU. All he said was to make haste. The matter seemed urgent.
I had a bad premonition about this.
What a drag….
We had a report, saying people heard som sound on top of the Hokage mountain. But before they could investigate. The ANBU stopped them.
I was curious. As Hokage-sama told me earlier today that he was invited by the prince.
What could have happened? That they needed to call for me…

A few minutes later~

As I walked into the designated room. I saw a medic Nin checking on Sarutobi-sama.
A battle had transpired. It's easy to deduce by the debris and the broken wall of the mansion. But between whom?
Someone who can make the Hokage move? Was it Orochimaru? No… The barrier team would have notified as soon as his chakra was released inside the village.
Then that means, it was someone inside the village.
Who could it be? The Uchihas? Hardly… Fugaku is strong, but he alone is no match for Sarutobi. And if they moved in a large group. It would be noticed immediately.
They are under watch, after all.
It can't be the Hyuuga. Their Taijutsu style doesn't cause this sort of destruction.
Wait… Was it… Danzo?
I did see a lot of ANBU corpses outside…

This is serious… I am astonished by how Danzo has gone away with all of this… And to attack the prince? What the hell was he thinking? Did he go senile?
I sighed....
But that's not important.
We need to fix the new situation. And I would say that I am more than impressed to see the prince's collected appearance and his reasoning skill.
He has flaws on the plan he created. But it's better than what most Ninja can make…
Now the question is… How do we make it appear as Danzo instigating the coup?…
Maybe…
"Is Danzo's corpse intact?" I asked the room.
Shisui answered awkwardly, "Aki-sama, beheaded him directly…"
I sighed…. What a draaag…
It would've been easier to manipulate the evidence with an intact corpse…
Then I thought of a plan,
"We have limited resources and time. So let's go with the oldest play in the book. Courtesy of Danzo himself."
Everyone's attention was on me now. I observed everyone's facial expressions. The Hokage looked aged. After this incident, he will probably have health issues…
My eyes stopped at the prince. Who was the most relaxed while he looked at me. It was as if he knew I would come up with a plan.
And he was not wrong… And my plan was… influenced by his words?...
This kid is abnormal… I don't want to be his enemy later….
"So we will use the 'Act then Blame' tactic…
We will do as the prince suggested, by taking the civilians and gennins out with the help of the willing Uchihas. We will move them to the shelter.
We will cleanly assassinate the Upper rebels and with the help of Fugaku, we will make it appear as if, Fugaku found out about the rebellion and the elders being in cahoots with Danzo, to take over the fire country.
And he bravely fought the rebels off when they tried to kidnap the prince." I smirked at this point.
You might be smart, young prince, but I will implicate you in this matter. I can't let you gain too much influence by becoming the driving force of the plan.
I will make you look like a weak little princess who needed the hero to save her!
[A/N: Fuck you Shikaku!]
The prince's lips twitched. That made me believe that my decision was correct…
He actually understood the underlying meaning that fast… Scary...
"We will also propagate the idea of the Hokage protecting the prince with his life on the line. The ANBU too fought bravely.
And when everything is over.
The Uchiha will tell their clan civilians that they were compelled by the rebels' <Genjutsu: Sharingan> to act against the village.
And we will plan everything on Danzo!

I concluded the briefing. This would fix a lot of issues, if nothing goes wrong.
The teams will be divided soon.
I could see determination on Itachi and Kakashi's eyes. As for Shisui, he was tired but his eyes told a different story…
He had the eyes of an Akimichi, An Akimichi, when you want to take their food, which will have those eyes.
The eyes of a protector…

As everyone got their orders and was moving out.
The prince came near me and smiled slyly. He said, "Would you like to play a new game I have invented?"
