Asuma had already left and when the ANBU Commander returned, Homura gave him a summary of what will happen to the Shinobi of Root. "Those who were part of a Clan will be able to return to them if they wish, while the others will be slowly grouped together to ANBU. We planned to place a Root member alongside an ANBU member, as long as their abilities complement each other. Still, you can discuss it with Shikaku while he tells you the details. " He sipped his tea. "The final decision will be up to the Fifth Hokage, however, for now, they will be placed where they make the best use of their abilities."

The ANBU Commander and Shikaku came out when he finished speaking.

Jiraiya, Naruto and Guy, who was carrying an unconscious Sasuke, were at the gate of the city "Very good, Guy. We will leave Sasuke in your hands." The Sannin spoke, however, before he could receive a reply, he and Guy looked towards the direction of the forest.

*Tak* Right after, an ANBU appeared in front of them.

"What happened?" Jiraiya looked at him.

"I have an urgent message from the elders for you." The ANBU looked at Jiraiya.

He nodded and looked at Guy and Naruto, "I'll be right back." Right after, he and the ANBU disappeared.

"So what do those two want now?" Jiraiya asked when they appeared in the forest.

"Danzo Shimura has been killed."

"Huh!? How did something like that happen!?" He was surprised before frowning, "Don't tell me it was Orochimaru's doing?"

The ANBU shook his head. "I don't know the details. The elders want that, in case the search for Lady Tsunade takes too long, you should return to Konoha as soon as possible to be named the Fifth Hokage."

He sighed and rubbed his head, "Fine, I'll make sure to get her back as fast as I can."

"Danzo Shimura has died." A male voice was suddenly heard in a stone room.

The man lying on the bed sat up and looked into the darkness. "Are you sure?"

"Of course. I just found out; apparently, he was murdered." The male voice sounded again.

"Murdered…?" The man muttered, "Who did it? And his corpse? Do you know where it is?"

"No one knows who killed him. However, they suspect Akatsuki; apparently, Itachi and Kisame met someone." The voice chuckled a bit. "There's nothing left of his body. It was completely destroyed by a huge explosion. Or well, that's what seems to have happened."

"I went to investigate! However, I didn't find anything... and I wasn't keeping an eye on him either..." A playful voice spoke from the darkness.

"I had told you to do it many times." The serious voice said.

"Haha..." The playful voice chuckled nervously, "How was I to know that he would die so fast? I thought I would have many chances..."

"He is right." The man spoke, "I guess Danzo didn't get a chance to use Izanagi, or he's still alive."

"But, the seal on the Root members' tongues disappeared. Isn't that proof enough?" The male voice asked.

The man shook his head. "Danzo is very experienced. There's no assurance when it comes to him." He stared into the darkness, "Try to find any sign of him or his body, and keep an eye out for what happens in Konoha."

"What about Itachi and Kisame?"

"Wait for his mission report and ask accordingly." The man responded to the serious voice.

A week has passed since Danzo's death and the repairs in the Village progressed at a rapid pace.

"So, what do you wanna talk about?" Anko spoke after sitting down.

He leaned back in the chair. "I'm going to train for a while."

She raised an eyebrow, "Go? Where?"

"I will travel the Elemental Nations." She was shocked after hearing that.

"The Elemental Nations? Why so suddenly?" She frowned. "You do know that you must inform the Village that you will be gone for so long, right?"

He shrugged, "I was hoping you would, after all, you owe me a favor."

"Ah!?" She crossed her arms, "Since when do I owe you anything!?"

He looked at her, "After your attempt to steal my Dangos."

She got a little confused before her face lit up for a second, before frowning, "That was a long time ago! I thought it was in the past!"

He shrugged again, "Unfortunately for you, no. Thank you in advance."

"What-" *Poof* Before she could finish, Kuro burst into smoke.

"..."

"Will we stay long?" Karin asked as they walked down the snowy street.

Kuro shook his head, "No, it's just a stop, but we will buy some things."

She nodded.

(A/N: What do you think should be the design of the Kunai to teleport? I thought of the three-pointed one with a different color or a normal kunai. Give me your idea if you're interested, it doesn't have to be a kunai though. Also, if you think of anything else the MC can get in the Land of Iron, let me know.)
