"What's wrong Anko? We are very busy so I hope what you have to say is important." Koharu said.
"Sigh..." Anko rubbed her head. "Well, it's about my student."
"Kuro Shizumatta, huh?" Homura rubbed his chin. "He had a great turnout during the invasion and gained a lot of recognition and respect from the entire Village. He is one of the possible Chuunin that we will recommend to the Fifth Hokage; is that what you want to talk about?"
"Haha~" Anko giggled nervously, "Well, the thing is, he went to train."
The elders looked at each other before looking at Anko. "Train where?" Koharu asked.

She sighed. "Yes, he went on a training trip."
"No authorization from the village!? And right now!?" Homura raised his voice, "Do you at least know where he went? Or if he reported to the village frequently?"
"Or maybe…" Koharu narrowed her eyes, "Should we consider him a deserter?"
"Eh!? I don't think we should go that far." Anko waved her hands, "Although I don't know where he will go, if he had really wanted to desert, there was no reason to tell me that he was leaving."
Koharu closed her eyes and sipped some tea, while Homura spoke, "What about the reports? How will we know if he's still alive or if he's still loyal to Konoha?"

It had already been two days since Kuro and Karin arrived at the Land of Iron.
The first day, he commissioned a blacksmith to make kunai as strong as possible and Kuro also paid a little extra to speed up the process.

Another thing he did was send a clone to the samurai training place and thus copy their sword techniques.

They appeared in a place with more snow than before, although the most prominent of the place was the ice.
Karin rubbed her arms "Where are we?"
Kuro bit his finger and replied, "It's the Land of Frost and the closest thing to our goal." He formed the hand seals and hit the ground.
*Poof!* Shiori jumped before the smoke cleared and landed on Kuro's shoulder, "I'm recovered and I can continue to guide you on your way!" She screamed with enthusiasm, yet something happened before she could receive any response.
*Crackle!* The blue fire in her ears began to stir violently.
Karin moved her glasses, "It seems that the blizzards here are going to affect you a lot, Shiori."
She was in the ruins of Uzushiogakure, studying information that Kuro gave her about the Uzumakis and trying to find anything that could help her increase her abilities, so she has no knowledge of why the fire is stirred.
Kuro and Shiori looked at each other before Kuro thought of some possibilities.
He quickly touched Karin's shoulder and teleported to a random location in the Land of Fire.
*Crackle!* The fire was still raging violently.
Kuro looked at Shiori, "Can you use Nature Energy?"
"Eh? No, I still haven't learned that." She shook her head, "But there are some in the sanctuary who is very good at using it."
He nodded, "Find them quickly and I'll summon you again." She nodded and burst into smoke.
"What is happening?" Karin took the opportunity to ask.
"I'll tell you about it later." He put a hand on her shoulder again to teleport.

They appeared in a cave and Kuro quickly went back to using the summoning technique.
*Poof!* Shiori appeared, but she was alone, holding a piece of paper between her paws. "Grandma said that if you need Nature Energy urgently you will use this paper." She offered him the paper and he took it. "It is a seal that stores a little Nature Energy, place it anywhere you want to be transmitted."
The paper was rectangular and the size of a palm, with many things written on it.
Kuro nodded, "Karin, get ready. Shiori, back off a bit." The cat jumped after Karin, who raised her guard and concentration. Once they did that, Kuro glued the paper to his chest.
The paper quickly crumpled when they made contact and a moment later, two white substances began to emerge from Kuro's back.
"How... Did you find out!?" One of the Zetsu asked, but Kuro didn't answer.
Once they both hit the ground, he kicked one in Karin's direction."Karin, Hold him." After saying that, he grabbed the other Zetsu's neck and broke it.
"Yes!" She reached for the body that was heading towards her and a golden chain shot from her arm and encircled Zetsu's body.
*Thud* The Clone Zetsu fell to the ground before Kuro put a hand on his head.
'Living Corpse Reincarnation.' A blue sphere popped out of Kuro's chest and entered Zetsu's mouth with a bit of effort.
*Thud* Kuro's body fell backwards as the Zetsu's appearance began to change.
"Karin, you can remove the chains now." Karin woke up from the daze and after looking between Kuro's body and Zetsu's, she retracted the chains.
Kuro stood up while looking at the screen that had appeared in his vision.
[New body of the Host detected!]
[Checking the condition of the body and compatibility!]
[Huge amounts of vitality have been detected in the body!]

Kuro's appearance kept changing as he approached the dead Zetsu and tried to store it.
Kuro had already told Karin that he had the ability to store things, although he kept many things secret. Trying to keep it hidden when they were traveling together would be much more troublesome.
'I guess assimilation isn't just in appearance.' Kuro thought after seeing how long it took to store the body.
He quickly stored his body before walking over to Karin and Shiori.
"Uhm… Kuro? What's going on?" Karin asked after confirming that the chakra belonged to Kuro.
"I'll tell you when we're away from here. It may not be a safe place anytime soon." He picked up Shiori and touched Karin's shoulder before using all his concentration to teleport.
The cave was completely silent for a few moments before a Flytrap plant emerged from the ground.
The plant opened and revealed a man with green hair, the right half of his body was black and the left white.
"Looks like they left…" The black half spoke after looking around.
"What are we going to do!? I lost connection with my clones! And besides, how did he know about them and how to get them out!?" The white half spoke quickly.
"Calm down. Not everything is bad. Thanks to the spores we placed on him when we heard everyone in Konoha praise him, we were able to discover many things." Zetsu began to sink into the ground. "We will tell Obito and let him decide."
