Body exercises, mastering and performing martial art techniques at heights and breakthroughs on a larger scale than before. Acquiring knowledge surrounding taijutsu and plain out excelling was my focus from the time I first stretched in the morning until the last time I stretched that night, every single day & each and every passing season, nothing - not the new people I happened to be acquainted with such as clan members or the times my mother forced me to go to the park.
The things I've experienced outside my goal were all irrelevant compared to the way I felt working towards that small gain and the new thing I learned compared from the previous day.
Seven months passed, today was my fourth birthday, as I wiped the rheum out my eye I immediately jumped forth in joy.
"YES!!" I screeched loud enough to be faintly heard but not to the point I awoke everyone in the house.
'Today was my birthday! The amount of dedication I put forth until this very day was absurd. The ins and outs, all the breakthroughs and times I felt lazy. I ended up preserving through all adversities and shortcomings to make it to this day where I'm able to sit back and witness the changes I strived to create.'
'The reason why I was so excited and this day being so important to me was for the simple fact that it marked my growth since last year.'
'The growth I was able to ensure during this past year was amazing, currently in body and martial art wise I'm confident enough to go toe to toe with an inexperienced genin and I knew for a fact I was better than or equal to Neji who's seen as a gentle fist genius if we were to ever battle.'
'Although he is older by a year and has the superior taijutsu style with my intelligence I'm sure I could find ways to outsmart him, getting the win.'
'If I were to quantify or give myself a level I could envision myself to be just about peak academy levels and just a tad bit away from genin's in body level, but those are just rough estimates. I don't know where exactly I stand but those are rough ideas as to where I currently stand in my mind.'
'The second reason why I was pumped for this day outside of the progression I've made was I would be able to start working on and manipulating my chakra and officially start being taught the ways of shinobi early on like Itachi or how Sakumo taught Kakashi.'
I grabbed a fresh pair of clothes as always, making my walk to the bathroom, I stripped naked and started bathing.

'I didn't even realize it but did Itachi head off to a mission? Or was he asleep? I did make quite a bit of noise. I hope I didn't disturb his sleep.'
'The time was a little after 5 am currently, and today I had a day off from training with my Sensei because it was my birthday.'
'I might as well have a early morning run and stretch wouldn't hurt until everyone awoke.'

Feeling nice and energized after a non laborious workout I headed home. It was now 10 am, I literally just ran during the meantime to warm my blood but I'm sure everyone was awake by now so I headed home.
I walked through the door. "SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted.
I saw birthday decorations plastered everywhere, and big grins, surprisingly everyone was here, by everyone I meant my mother, father along with Itachi my brother.
They individually said happy birthday to me then we feasted.
'I'm assuming mom made this food extremely succulent since it was the first time in a while we all were together at once like this, we're all busy doing our own things.'
'Itachi's constantly busy with missions or training with his new genin team after the disassemblement of his previous one where his friend Tenma died protecting Itachi, the final standing teammates, Itachi and his female squadron Shinko Inari devastated and traumatized from the event. Awakening Itachi's Sharingan & happening to stray Shinko away from the shinobi line of field, deciding best to give up her short career as a Konoha Shinobi for good.'
'Fugaku was busy as both the clan head and the overseer and chief of the Konoha's policing force. This arduous task & management leaves him constantly stressed and pressured from both the management of both sides, if he isn't at home he's at the police force or if he's at home he's in his office working on the loads of paperwork he gets daily.'
'My dear mother Mikoto, a housewife but who ever said it is an easy job? Keeping the house clean & dandy, appealing to the needs and wants of her family, cooking occasionally, raising her particularly mature children, if the workload becomes too much for Fugaku they divide it equally between the two and she gets it done or if need be she's an at home assistant.'
'Finally me, the baby of the household but equally as busy, from the sun up to sun down works his body out physically and trains his martial arts as well. Keeping me busy the whole entire day until I come home, very tired of course and eats dinner, then goes to bed to start the never ending cycle the next day.'
'So yeah we barely manage with our own individual schedules to do family things and it is fairly often Itachi or father misses breakfast or dinner with me and mother, so this day where we can all come together is something to be very cherished because it isn't a common occurrence in this household.'
As soon as the food was served and everyone said their thanks we ate accompanied by a dead silence. The only thing you heard was utensils, drinking and slurping sounds along with the occasional burp. Eating together made it that much more sublime.
After we finished stuffing our bellies like pigs father gave a speech and so did mom, Itachi gave a few words of wisdom as well.
I was then given hand picked gifts by my family, Father gave me a kunai set, Mother gave me a chest full of shinobi material & scholar books and Itachi gave me matching metal rings with a full set of ninja tools other than the kunai's and shuriken shinobi often apply on clothing.
The gifts were perfect, my family knew me well enough to give me something of use and something that would ensure my survival in this world and it was all I wanted.
Mother stayed home to finish cleaning while Itachi and father took me out to the lakeside, and for some reason brought a metal bowl along with us.

"The secret to accessing your chakra is basically a form of manipulation and solely relies on latent chakra control talent, based on your inherent manipulation skills the first time reflects the process of you gaining control and awareness, whatever your inherent chakra manipulation skills are the harder or easier it'll be for you to gain access." Father put making it seem as easy and simple as counting.
Itachi looked at my father's face then mines and continued where he left off.
"What father is trying to get you to understand is the less chakra a person has the harder it is to find your chakra, the less latent control you have or if you're not good at control like most people are their first time the harder it is to harbor and make it oblige to your wishes so in the end it all the depends on a person and is something you could be guided to learn rather than teach, understand?"
"When you simplify it like that then yeah." I agreed.
I then sat on the ground crossing my legs. I closed my eyes and breathed in and out steadying my breath. I searched for an energy reservoir and I found it. It was like large streams connecting to one huge ocean and that was my Chakra Pathway System, The chakra pathway system is enmeshed within the body, transporting chakra through the body and each organ as the circulatory system does blood.
"Focus.." my father said, realizing that I was close.
My Chakra was now in a state of slumber where it only offered passive benefits, in this meditative state, I started to slowly feel my Chakra bit by bit unleash and awake from it's long slumber, and suddenly the rivers and lakes of my Chakra surged into my pathways.
The more and more cycles it completed the more bundles of relaxing energy I felt coursing through me, my chakra was more awake and lively and did as I wanted.
"Do you feel your chakra?" He asked, realizing that I was close and must've been feeling it for the first time.
"Yes."

I was really intrigued with how he further portrayed chakra and I wanted to adopt it into this story as well, so if it's similar to something you may have read credit goes to the Author of the Mokuton Authority ff it's amazing and I recommend for you all to check it out:) PS: if he isn't fond I'm using the system then by all means I'll remove it from my story.
Chakra is made of yang the physical and yin the spiritual and rarely shinobi could use these two simultaneously but there are other things that can classify your Chakra and that is its density and quality.
These densities are classified from 1 to 3, first being a Gaseous state in my head when I think about gasses I specifically think about carbon monoxide, why? Simply put its invisible but deadly, how often do you see the average shinobi's chakra if you aren't some sort of sensor yourself? Exactly invisible but deadly.
The second is a 'Vapour state', and the third being a chunky 'liquidy' state, an example of these states would be.
Carbon Monoxide: A civilian academy student, or an average shinobi. Chakra only becomes visible when used as a Jutsu or seen by a Dōjutsu user or sensor.
Vapour: Reaching grand quantities of Chakra the Chakra becomes visible to the untrained eye even for civilians, an example of this 'peak' of the stage would be Hashirama Senju.
Liquid: Chakra is equivalent to a chunky liquid or thick water, this quality and density would be called Six Paths Chakra, an example: Jubidara, Jubito, Kaguya, Hagoromo.
Other than having density Chakra too has a quality after reaching the peak of the liquid state you can improve the quality of your Chakra thus returning the density to the start making that a huge cycle of improvement.
Every Newborn Chakra is blue without exception but through a Shinobi's actions and personality it can gain unique characteristics, for example, Orochimaru describing his chakra as 'nasty' due to his 'twisted' personality he gives off a very creepy aura & persona.
The only time the Chakra truly changes colour is when it suffers its first quality change, the colour it changes into depends on the person, its something extremely personal.

{A/N: I wanted to start this "Author's Note" off with a apology because I abruptly left this app and haven't been active on it since early January, This is one of the stories I'm deeply motivated to finish and the one I put the most effort into out of all of my stories I've created here on WN, so by any means I'll get this story done. I rather tell you guys what I've done surrounding this story then give out excuses as to why I have been missing.
I haven't been completely absent as I've been working on this book in my own time. I've come up with plotlines, side stories, transformations, characters, things I could do to make to make my future chapters better and more that took over 100k plus words invested into the story. Plus I'm countless chapters away from what you may currently be reading.
This "break" helped with this story a lot so I guess it was in great use. If you have read this far and are an avid reader of the book I have a favor to ask you all, drop suggestions for plots and decisions our MC could take that'll add interest to the story.
