It took us longer to arrive back home than it did to get to the training ground, due to us having to greet our clan members that were passing by. Because of the position that my family holds within the clan every member of the clan greets us respectfully. And in turn, we do the same. It is not an obligation, but the father forces us to do it, at least to the important people. Which is every that lives close to us.

It's done to not form too big of a gap between us and the rest of our clansman. Apparently, that was a real problem when he was growing up. It has been one of his life goals to mend that gap between us.

Anyways once we made it back home my mother brewed us some tea and we sat back down at the kitchen table.

"So" she took a sip of her tea " tell me about the two abilities you now have. I can understand the first one. Its a Kekkei Genkai like Hashi has or the Uchia and Hyuga clans. Though yours seems to be more focused on your body. Although you explained the other one is still don't understand it." she said after she set her cup down.

"Umm well, I think when I got sick I wasn't actually getting sick. It was my body going through a drastic change from unlocking these two abilities. The first one I call Speed release because it lets me drastically increase my speed along with allowing me to stop immediately. That's all it really does." I explained as I looked down at the cup of steaming tea. It technically wasn't a lie, since I did unlock the speed release while I was sick.

"So you weren't sick? You were just unlocking a Kekkei Genkai? But why didn't Hashi go through the same thing when he learned wood release?" she pondered to herself.

"Umm, maybe it's because Speedd Release changes my body, while Hashi's only effect's his chakra. If you remember my legs were changed when I used it." I explained. This was pretty logical I think. It makes sense for my body to shut down when experiencing a drastic change like that so it shouldn't be out of the realm of passability.

"That makes some sense" Natsuma nodded. She was still a little skeptical but she didn't have a previous example to go with since Hashi's was too different compared to Itama's. So she had no choice but to believe that it was because his body was getting used to the ability.

"That explains one of them, but what about the other?" she asked taking a sip of her tea.

"Umm, that one is a bit more difficult to explain." I circled his finger around the rim of the cup. "But as I said, I can absorb energy from objects and then release the absorbed energy. But I have to use the Jutsu sphere to absorb the energy. So the object has to touch the sphere, for it to lose its energy. I think that I can expand the sphere or even manipulate it to other shapes, but I haven't tested it. I also feel that I can further absorb the energy into my body if I try. I don't really know what that will do but it will probably be helpful." I tell her everything I knew so far about the ability.

I know for sure that I can manipulate and form the Jutsu to my liking and that I can absorb the energy. That energy can be stored or converted into the chakra. It's not one-to-one but it is still worth using. But I had to phrase my response in a way that I didn't know what I could fully do and was only speculating.

As far as I know, people don't get the full understanding of their Kekkei Genkai's and Tota's as soon as they unlock them. I also don't have a full understanding of mine yet, but I do have a basic understanding. Something that the others don't get. Well, unless they come from a clan like the Uchiha or Hyuga.

"Th-that is a lot. I've never heard of anything like that. I didn't even know a person could have two Kekkei Genkai. But your's didn't seem to be a normal one." she tried to recall seeing or even hearing about something similar happening but nothing came to mind.

"Umm, that's not all," I spoke up

"There's more!?" she exclaimed in surprise her eyes going wide

"Umm, this one isn't so good" I give a small smile.

"What is it?" Her face instantly went serious as she expected to hear the worse.

"It's better I show you," I said and then I stoop up from the table. I made a few hand signs before saying "Water Release: Drizzle"

I kept my hand in the ending hand seal waiting for something to happen but nothing did and eventually, I let go of the seal. Without waiting I did another two Jutsu's and got the same results as the first one. I sat down at the table and looked back at my mother who now has tears in her eyes.

"You, you, you can't use ninjutsu anymore?" she asked, her voice cracking a bit as tears started to fall down her face.

I nodded my head. It sucked to say, but because of kinetic release, I couldn't use my chakra for anything elemental ninjutsu. I don't know if it prevents me from using all ninjutsu or just elemental. I hope not, since I badly want to learn seals. Especially now, since the Uzumaki are at their peak, able to rival even our clan. If I could learn seals from them, it would make the future so much easier.

Before my mother could shed any more tears I quickly speak "Mom, don't worry. You're forgetting who we are. We're Senju: The clan of a thousand skills! I might not be able to use ninjutsu. But I still have my speed and kinetic release, and we have plenty of taijutsu and kenjutsu masters within the clan. Father himself specializes in kenjutsu. Using a sword and my fist will probably be a better fighting style for me anyway." I tell my mother. It was true, although my ninjutsu path was very limited, I still had plenty of options.

We had plenty of people in the clan who could train me in taijutsu and my father was a specialist in Kenjutsu so there was not anything I had to worry about. Plus I will be focused on speed, I have to, and speed is probably one of the most important things for a Shinobi to have. Minato is one of the best examples of this. Maybe I can become a combination of Minato and Guy, that seems like a good path.

"That's Right!" My mother shouts, wiping her tears "We are Senju! Nothing will stop us from improving. You can't use ninjutsu but you have plenty of options, we just have to find someone to train you, and I have just the person. Follow me Itama." she shouts as she runs out of the room.

"It's going to be a long day." I thought to myself as I shook my head " I haven't even got to see what I look like now" I sigh as I follow my mom out of the room. She was already far ahead of me heading into the inner part of the clan's compound, where most people lived.
