7 Charting the Path.

¡Hola gente! I'm happy, we've reached 100K visits, and it's been 10 days since I uploaded Chapter 1. Even though I'm still tired from my birthday, I'm going to write today's chapter. Since I come up with it on the spot, I don't know how it will turn out, but I hope you enjoy it.

Although the fanfic is progressing slowly with all the explanations, those who pay attention should realize that I'm expanding the world. For example, in this chapter, I explain how the ninja world trains chakra control in general, not just the shinobi in Konoha.

[Tokigakure, Daimyo's Residence]

Third Person POV

After leaving his room as a renewed man, Leonel pondered on what would be better to do now: train to lose weight or focus on Chakra control. He reached the intelligent conclusion that it would be better to train both.

'How clever you are, Leonel.'

Walking through the exquisite halls of the Daimyo's residence, the loud sound of his steps making the wood creak beneath him echoed with every stride. His cane made a strong noise with each step, and as he paid closer attention, the hallway appeared to be extremely elegant, reflecting the grandeur of the place he was in.

As he walked, Kanao trailed behind him, following with a hand resting on her sword and elegant steps. Though Asami couldn't be seen, her presence was obviously felt in the area. Contemplating something, Leonel decided to ask Kanao, though his question was also directed to the air.

"How do I train my Chakra control?"

Upon hearing his lord's question, Kanao chose to respond as they continued walking. It was unclear why his lord preferred to discuss this while walking instead of in the room.

"My Lord, the common method of Chakra training is almost the same worldwide. Both samurai and shinobi train in a similar manner. The most common steps include:

Concentration on a leaf: This method is used by both ninjas and samurai. It involves placing a leaf on a person's forehead and channeling all their chakra into the leaf, using it as a focal point. Depending on whether it's for shinobi or samurai, it can serve for mental focus and more.

Balance training: As the name suggests, it involves controlling chakra in a balanced way. Although shinobi and samurai use different methods for their training, one example is that ninjas use the training of:

| Tree climbing, where the shinobi must concentrate chakra on the soles of their feet. If they channel too much chakra, they get propelled and impale themselves on the tree due to excessive force. Conversely, if they don't use enough chakra, they can't cling to the tree and fall to the ground. |

| Meanwhile, samurai train with wooden sticks, simulating the Samurai's sword. They have to cover the entire stick with their chakra without it breaking or exploding. This training is also used in combat to ensure that the samurai doesn't lose control of their chakra in the midst of a battle. Samurai also have to maneuver through obstacles like walls, and although they don't need to run like shinobi, they need agility to move around a bit. |

Unconscious use of Chakra: It applies directly to both ninjas and samurai. This training could be said to have levels, although these levels are unnamed. When reaching the pinnacle of this training, one can use Chakra unconsciously.

| For shinobi, it would be running on water. The shinobi has to emit a constant flow of chakra to the soles of their feet and use the repelling force to walk on the water's surface. The amount of chakra constantly changes to adapt to the flow of the current. With more training, one can reach a state where they can stand on water without even realizing it. |

| Molding training: Samurai learn to manipulate the chakra that reaches their sword, allowing them to give chakra different shapes such as blades or large swords, all without any manual seals. They also learn to throw chakra cuts without releasing all their chakra. The highest level is Mifune Sama's level, capable of handling chakra swords unconsciously and throwing chakra cuts without thinking. Achieving this level allowed Mifune to fight against the semi-god Hanzo the salamander and survive. As you can see, Daimyo-sama, this level is very different from a shinobi who can walk on water.| [1]

A shinobi who completes their basic training perfectly would be a chunin or jonin, but a samurai who can mold their chakra like Mifune Sama would be at a Kage or maximum Jonin level."

Taking a deep breath, Kanao finished with a cough, "That's all, my friend *cough*, *cough* that's all, Daimyo-sama."

Leonel had a surprised expression from all the information he received, especially being able to articulate it without holding back. He wondered if he needed to catch his breath, although he would discover that in the future, unbeknownst to him.

As Leonel assimilated the information, he continued walking through the halls as part of his training, heading towards the dining area. Kanao's detailed explanation provided him with a clearer understanding of the different approaches that both shinobi and samurai had to Chakra control, and that honestly took him by surprise. He never imagined that Mifune, their Prime, was so strong. However, it paled in comparison to what the Great Ninja War would bring or, worse, Boruto... leaving those thoughts in the back of his mind, he focused on responding to Kanao.

"Interesting, Kanao. It seems there are similarities in some aspects of the training, but also significant differences. I think I'll try the leaf concentration method to start. After that, maybe I'll attempt some balance exercises. Do you have any specific suggestions for my training, considering my current condition?" Leonel asked, aware that his weight situation might affect some exercises. He decided to adapt his Chakra control training to accommodate these circumstances.

Kanao, showing respectful deference, replied, "Daimyo-sama, to adapt the exercises to your situation, you could perform the leaf concentration while sitting or leaning on your cane. This will reduce the strain on your legs and allow you to focus on Chakra control. For balance training, we could start with gentle arm and torso movements while maintaining a steady position supported by your cane. Over time, you could progress to more complex movements."

Leonel nodded in gratitude and continued on his way, determined to start his training immediately. As he headed to the residence's dining area, he pondered something.

'Could I use the samurai stick training with different canes in my daily life while walking to have mobility? First, I have to do the leaf training as Kanao suggested for better control and concentration. With my considerable weight, I can't do too much exercise, so it's better to start eating well and engaging in activities that involve movement. It's a basic weight loss training in my previous world. I have to see how it reacts with my chakra if I lose weight faster or the same.'

After finishing his thoughts, Leonel arrived at the dining area where, upon sitting and observing the food in front of him, he found heavy and abundant dishes.

Summoning all his willpower, he resisted the temptation to indulge in the food, reminding himself with excuses in his mind like, 'Goku and Vegeta eat a lot and are strong,' 'Luffy eats a lot and has a good physique,' and even 'in Toriko world, eating makes you stronger; maybe I can do the same.'

As the excuses formed in his mind, he recalled the goals he had set for himself, both in terms of Chakra control and weight loss

Reminding himself that he was committed to improving his health, Leonel took a deep breath and called one of the dining servants, commanding in a firm voice, "Change my meal to a healthier one. From today onward, I want all my meals to be healthy. I'll opt for more balanced options, and pass on my order to the kitchen when you go there."

"I understand, Daimyo-sama," said the servant with fear in his voice. He quickly grabbed the food and hurriedly went to inform the kitchen.

As Leonel watched the servant leave with fear, and the people around him looking equally alarmed, he felt pity and shame for having to speak like the former daimyo...

Little did he know, this decision saved his life, preventing his isekai from being the shortest in the world.

[Room of the Daimyo]

Leonel could be seen training, concentrating chakra on a leaf. Sitting in an upright position, he held a leaf in front of him, focusing on channeling his chakra into the object. Although his movements were initially clumsy, Leonel strived to find the right balance between mental concentration and chakra flow.

In a sudden movement on his part, the leaf exploded and joined the rest of a mountain of leaves around him, some floating in the air as a result of the chakra explosion. Visibly frustrated by the lack of control in his training, he turned to Kanao, "Pass me more leaves," deciding to continue his training despite the difficulty.

Noticing the frustration and sweat on his lord's face, Kanao expressed concern, "My Lord, it's better to rest. Overtraining can be harmful, and you might run out of chakra."

Despite the warning, Leonel was determined to continue. Ignoring suggestions to rest, he attempted to focus on another leaf. However, exhaustion and lack of control resulted in excessive effort.

After trying to reach another leaf, Leonel collapsed, exhausted by the effort and energy spent on his training.

As Asami, watching from her place on the roof, quickly rushed to aid her lord, concerned for his well-being.

"My Lord, rest is necessary. Training should be gradual, and your health is the most important," said Asami, showing more emotion than Leonel had ever seen, as she helped him to rest.

Though frustrated by the interruption of his training, Leonel finally accepted the need for rest.

With the promise to resume training tomorrow, he went to rest for the first time in this world.

The next day would mark the beginning of a new stage for all of Tokigakure, and a person essential to his life would join him, changing it for the better.

......

I realized that I'm focusing too much on world-building and the character's plans. It's progressing too slowly for the first chapters, which usually move quickly. If anyone is bothered by this, I ask for patience. Many things discussed in these early chapters will be used in the future. Additionally, the next chapter will cover adoption, serious chakra training, some more exercises, and trying out elements from another world. See you.

[1] I made it stronger because it seems implausible for the Land of Iron to stay out of war just by being neutral. So I strengthened it, giving more relevance to the samurai, something that wasn't explored as much in Naruto.
