Chapter 14: Shikomu VS Naruto

"Alright then, are you both ready?" Kakashi sensei asked as he stood in between us.

Naruto was about 10m away from me and had a determined look on his face as he saw me.

"Yes." Naruto said, as I myself nodded.

"Begin." He said, as he moved away.

As he said that, Naruto threw a lot of Kunai at me.

I just used body flicker to move away from it. Since I had mastered the Jutsu, I moved a lot faster than Ayumi. With my better physique, I moved at extremely fast speeds for our levels.

Naruto was surprised, but as soon as he saw me, he made a hand sign I was all too familiar with.

"So it's true." I heard Naido-Sensei say from a distance.

"What's true?" Ayumi asked as she turned to him. She was sitting next to Naido-sensei since he gave her advice regarding her fight.

"MULTI-SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Naruto shouted, as I saw hundreds of other Naruto's pop-up.

"That he can create a thousand clones as a genin." Naido sensei said, completely impressed.

"What the hell?!" Kazuto remarked as he stood up. Ayumi was also shocked. They had heard about Sasuke's feats but never about Naruto's.

I wasn't surprised, but seeing that was still a bit overwhelming for me.

But I still hopped around for a bit, and relaxed my hands. This would be a battle of stamina and I had to be careful about wasting all my energy.

Then, I also made the same hand sign as Naruto..

"WHAT?!" Multiple Naruto's exclaimed in surprise.

Everyone looked at me in surprise, other than the Jounin.

However when the smoke disappeared from my Location, only 3 other clones were revealed.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA." Sakura laughed while she looked at me.

She probably didn't understand how much Chakra this Jutsu consumed.

I could make about 5 clones, however I chose not to. This amount was perfect right now.

I was probably at a higher level of Taijutsu then Naruto, or maybe at his level.

But I just had to hit his clones once for them to disperse. While it was the same for mine, my clones were going to use a different strategy to fight Naruto.

2 of them made the rat sign and their shadows started to extend towards other clones.

"Only 2 ?" Ayumi asked Naido-Sensei.

However Naido didn't reply and continued to watch the fight.

As the shadows reached Naruto's clones and made contact with his Shadow, it rapidly started to spread. Since all of his clones were in close proximity, all of their shadows were extremely close as well.

As the clones began to become stationary, my moving clone and I rapidly moved around and started to stab them with our Kunai.

Massive amounts of smoke started to be released in the battle field.

While normally my senses would have been blocked, I just had to take a couple of steps to find another clone and destroy it.

I had to make sure to constantly destroy the clones, since my Shadow Possession Jutsu took a lot of Chakra for my shadow clones to maintain.

It took about 30 seconds for at least a hundred clones to be destroyed.

"MOVE TO THE SIDE!" One of the Naruto clones shouted, and all of the Naruto's jumped into the air.

As they did that, my clones all stopped using their Jutsu and began to get ready our Ninja tools.

The smoke slowly cleared up and the hundreds of Naruto clones made sure to keep their distance from me.

As the smoke disappeared, my clones and I began to throw our Kunai and Shuriken at the Naruto's who used their own Kunai's to deflect the blows.

After throwing roughly 50 Kunai, my clones and I went back into formation, as 2 of us rushed forward and the other 2 maintained their distance.

"Isn't he too far to use his Jutsu?" Kazuto voiced out. Everyone could figure out that my Jutsu didn't have infinite amounts of range.

However, they soon saw rapidly moving shadows through the minute shadows created by the Ninja wire connected to our Kunai.

"That's pretty smart." Kakashi said out loud as he watched the fight in slight interest.

"He is a Nara." Naido replied.

I then began to spam my body-flicker jutsu. I didn't need to use hand signs for it since I had complete mastery over it. However for the Shadow-possession Jutsu I needed to continue hand signs since it was required to continue the Jutsu until contact was established.

Naruto wasn't really the brightest, but he also soon understood that there were ninjas wired around and he had to be constantly moving.

However, after about another 30 seconds, when I was running closer to a Naruto, dozens of clones nearby jumped me. They didn't do that until now and had minded their own business.

"Stop right there!"

However, right as they were about to reach me, I just body flickered away and kicked the Naruto in the chest.

He moved back slightly from the kick yet didn't disperse.

"Got you Naruto." I said with a smile.

"Dammit!" Naruto said as he started to dodge me using the Shadow-Possession Jutsu as well.

However, right as he was outside of my range, Naruto got trapped by one of my clones. As he did, I took control over the Jutsu and made him stand completely still.

One of my clones body-flicked beside him and put a Kunai on his neck.

"It's over."

(General POV)

"How did Naruto lose when he had at least a hundred more clones!" Sakura asked out loud.

"It's because of the characteristics of a Nara. He had also been training with Shikamaru so he must have developed those tactics there." Kakashi said out loud.

At the mention of training under someone he did not know, Kazuto immediately began to pay more attention.

"Shikamaru? That lazy guy?" Sakura asked back.

"Sakura, I really need to teach you to not judge a book by its cover."

"Well then Kakashi." Naido spoke with a smile on his face. He was still sitting in his Budha like posture and didn't turn to Kakshi.

Kakashi then sighed. He walked towards Naido and put his hand out.

"A deals a deal. I won't go back on it." Kakashi said.

Naido smiled and passed him something similar to the beads he wore.

"Welcome to the wonderful religion!" Naido said with a smile.

"Remember its only for a week." Kakashi remindied.

"Ya but you know the saying,once a buddhist, always a buddhist."

"…"

"I swear it did not work that way." Kakashi sighed, putting the beads on. He glanced at the side to see Sasuke staring at Shikomu and smiled inside of his mask a little.
