CH 3: Waking up as Isshiki

As Raymond's consciousness was being transferred into the body that of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, some of his memories were coming back.

--Flashback--

-Several hours before the Nobel Prize Awarding program-

Raymond was currently walking towards his room after taking a bath.

He had a towel to cover his lower body but his upper body was exposed, revealing a toned body reminiscent of a model.

All of this was his hardwork of going to the gym everyday during the morning but the moment noon hits, he goes back to his condominium to take a bath, rest, eat, sleep. It was only when the nighttime hits when he has to go to work.

*RING* *RIIING*

His smartphone which was on the bedside table rang loudly.

He looked at the caller's name and saw that it's Carl, his bestfriend and employee.

He answered the call.

"Hey Carl! How you doing?"

Raymond greeted Carl.

"O-oh, I'm doing fine, still working on and supervising 'its' creation hehe"

Carl shyly answered.

"Oh keep up the good work, so what'd you call for?"

Raymond asked.

"Oh! Ehem..... Sir i would like to inform you about the information you asked me, it has been confirmed that Hussein is plotting against you, the informant told me that he plans to assasinate you by tomorrow evening"

Carl informed him with a serious and formal tone.

(Oh)

Raymond inwardly exclaimed lightly.

"Hmm.. as expected, make sure you have already prepared the countermeasures, i trust you Carlito Boy"

Raymond replied nonchalantly.

"O-of course sir Nemickas, i and my team have it all planned out, we assure you, please attend the program with ease"

Carl flusteredly assured Raymond.

"Thank you Carl"

Raymond thanked Carl with a smile.

The call ended and Raymond began dressing up to head towards the grand hall in the center of the city.

--

Raymond promptly arrived at the program hall with his limousine and was greeted with a bunch of reporters saying gibberish he could care less about accompanied with them flashing camera lights upon his face.

He walked along the red carpet with confidence as he head towards inside, and there, he met his family, his board of directors members, and many other important employees of his.

In the midst of his connected attendees, an old man with a blue tuxedo suit with his brown cypress wood cane was smiling as he looks at Raymond. He was Muhammad Hussein, one of Raymond's board members.

Raymond was wearing a vantablack tuxedo and trousers accompanied by his royal blue bow tie and his manly charms, a truly beautiful man.

Raymond greeted his attendants one by one with his formally bright smile, until he now faced Hussein, formerly one of his trusted confidants within his company whom he had found out to have betrayed him countless of times by leaking company secrets to his company's rivals.

"Congratulations, sir Raymond, you have truly shocked the world"

Hussein greeted and praised Raymond with a creepy smile.

Hussein's annoying expressions ticked of Raymond for a little bit but he then decided to play into the former's games.

"It is mostly thanks to you and many of our employee's efforts sir Hussein"

Raymond praised back with a winner's smile, as he then proceeds to walk towards the others with confident strides as he holds his wine glass.

The moment Raymond has gotten far away enough, Hussein grumbled.

"Hmph! you'll soon find out who gets the last smile...soon enough.."

Hussein crept up a grin as he then leaves the area to talk with the other guests.

Hussein, as stated earlier, was one of his most trusted employees, but because of his severe betrayals, Raymond and also Carl cut ties with their bestfriend relationship with Hussein. Whom despite being ousted from his former high position in the company, had still decided to stick around, waiting for Raymond's eventual downfall for him to take over the latter's company.

The company that Raymond himself struggled to build for more than a decade has finally became a top notch robotics company.

---

Right after qutting from his work in NASA, Raymond established his own scientific company. There, he made himself famous by inventing various daily-life related appliances and devices. Many people became drawn into the company, some were workers, some were investors, and through time, his company grew to rival some of the world's largest robotics companies.

He amassed billions of dollars from the many subsidiaries his company had, it basically became like a conglomerate, but without familial ties, he owned it individually.

The last project he held was about creating a massive Artificial Intelligence capable of handling most of his excess works in the other branches of his company all over the world.

The AI was also being tested and designed to rival that of the most massive supercomputers as of late, with its predicted output and processing power that might give it the ability to predict the future. Making its market value outstandingly higher than all of their previous projects. And so he then decided to call the project the 'SUPREMA project', it stands for the 'SUper PREdicting MAchine'.

And that was when many envious rivals became increasingly threatened of his company and it's ambitious project.

--Flashback Ends--

"Ugh.... what is this?..."

Raymond, no, Isshiki grumbled and was at a lost for words as he looks at his current situation.

A flat but well-destroyed wastleland with some rock mountains surrounding him.

He was currently lying on the ground with a severe numbness directed at his lower body area.

"Ugh"

He struggled to move his hands to ty to touch his legs.

"Huh?"

But he had no legs, there was nothing but air.

"No.."

He tries to deny his reality.

Isshiki had already found out the situation he was in.

(Fucking hell....i remember saying 'right after')

Isshiki grumbled as he thought.

Isshiki had wished to replace the former Isshiki's soul 'right after' his fight with Kaguya's betrayal, which in turn made God literally put him in 'right after' Kaguya took Isshiki's lower body to be fed to the Shinju tree.

(Damn, i thought i had outsmarted God, how arrogant of me)

Was Isshiki's last thoughts as he lost consciousness.

----

After some time passed, Isshiki finally woke up, but this time, in a place with a roof, a wooden roof to be exact.

Isshiki tries to get up but to no avail, no strength came up to him to give him the ability to do so.

"Ugh"

Isshiki grumbled once again because of the lost of his strength.

(Fuck you God! You really had to make everything literal!..... Wait, if i hadn't made my second wish, then maybe that would've really sucked huh)

Isshiki cursed and contemplated.

As he was deep in his thoughts a shadow went over him, no a human went over to look at him in the eyes.

The person was a guy with long black hair and a goatee, accompanied by his tanned skin.

(This must be Jigen the monk, poor guy, i really need to parasitisize this guy even though i am not Isshiki)

Isshiki contemplated with sympathy as he looks at the guy he is planning to take over.

His sympathy led him to decided differently from the original Isshiki, which was to only parasitisize Jigen after he had said thank you to him after he is fully healed.

"Greetings, pale man, with horns"

Jigen greeted him with a weirded out tone.

"Greetings too, tanned man, without horns"

So he did the same.

"Hoho what a funny man!"

Jigen politely laughed at Isshiki's sarcasm.

They chatted for a while as he was taking care of Isshiki.

He introduced himself as Jigen, the monk of the Kurotsuchi Temple. He told Isshiki that he found him when he was picking berries and fruits from the forest surrounding the battle wasteland where Kaguya sneak attacked Isshiki, Jigen said that he saw a big clearing and tried to search for the center to try to spot any suspicious activities which led him to find Isshiki's half body.

As for Isshiki, he just introduced himself as Isshiki, a human with a rare integumentary disease that gave him horns, pale white skin, his healing abilities, and both of his weird eyes. He also told Jigen that the reason why he had found him in a battle wasteland was when he tried escaping from his former village who had ostracized him for his integument disease, and during his escapage he was caught by a wolf and was nearly eaten alive if it weren't for his poisonous skin because of his skin disease, which deterred the wolf from eating him.

Jigen half-believed Isshiki, which was quite fair for a person who needs to be careful from bandits who wiped out his hometown. What weirded Jigen out wasn't Isshiki's disease, but his healing factor that healed his lower body completely after only 4 days. He knew that no normal human could ever recover from such a devastating disability, but he chose to refrain from asking too much from Isshiki as he planned to let him go after a few more days, when he is already sure that he is healed.

As 6 days passed by, he then proceeded to introduce his background to Isshiki, telling him that he was the only monk left in the temple after a devastating attack of many bandits on the village surrounding the temple months back, which destroyed the village's population. This process of destruction was done so as the bandits kidnapped the women and killed off the male population, the monks were not spared either, as they were all trampled on and killed by the bandits. The bandits tried to steal the artifacts of the temple, but the temple locked its many riches underneath where they required a certain attribute to unlock. As a result, the bandits tried to burn down the temples, but due to the stony material of the structure of the temple, they didn't succeed in burning out, and so out of frustration, the bandits fled the village with their female captives towards their northern base, which was just a little walk from here.

Jigen was only able to survive due to the fact that he was a child at that time and was able to hide in a secret passage within the temple.

The bandits continually scout the surrounding empty village for potential riches and slaves, which made Jigen's life way harder as he couldn't abandon the temple that took care of him since he was a child. And so to be able to hide and survive, Jigen prepared many hiding spots within the empty village and the temple where he could hide in, in case of a bandit search wherever he is on the area. And for months long, Jigen is still here living and surviving.

-------

A few more days and Isshiki became miraculously healed, his lower half was now back and his body brimming with energy. He wondered as to how he healed up so fast unlike the original Isshiki from the anime, but since he found no answers, he just went on and brushed his burning questions off for now to continue his magical powers test as he can now finally use chakra. These recent mysterious events that deviated from the original Canon led him to completely abandon his plan of parasitisizing Jigen's body, since he did not really need to anymore.

Isshiki is currently in his designated room, and Jigen is currently out searchig for food for the both of them. He is currently in a joyous mood, making expressions that the original owner of his body will never make, but alas he is now the owner of his body. But Isshiki soon slumped down as he began to realise many things about his situation.

(I don't have any memories from Isshiki! GOD! I should've said that i would get his memory right after replacing him!)

Isshiki fretted.

"But its a good thing that i can perfectly and freely use chakra like an extra limb of mine, must be the Ōtsutsuki bloodline, with my knowledge of jutsu from Naruto, i think i can perfectly replicate them all!"

Isshiki happily said as he feels his chakra on his palm.

A brilliant shade of blue coats his left hand like a glove, Isshiki clenched his fist and he then shot his fist towards the big rock he's holding with his right hand, he got the rock earlier from outside.

The moment his fist and the rock made contact, the rock exploded and got pulverized by the amount of force it received.

He then got outside to practice with more destructive power.

He then tried another technique, he manipulated the chakra on his left hand to form a sharp leaf-shaped chakra and then used it to slice another giant rock into 8 equal parts.

"I might not remember Shinjutsu, but i think ninjutsu will still work! Oh and i will eventually know how to manipulate these eyes once i train enough with my chakra!"

--A/N: To those who don't know what Shinjutsu is, it is translated as 'Divine Techniques', this is basically the Ninjutsu for the Ōtsutsuki clan members, but an advanced version than Ninjutsu. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and even Fuinjutsu is actually completely or partially derived from this branch of magical techniques.--

Isshiki proudly declared as he looked at his chakra-coated fist.

But unbeknownst to Isshiki, Jigen was actually watching him from a nearby bush, he already got back from searching for fruits from the nearby forest.

If Isshiki had already started his chakra sensing, he would've already sensed Jigen, but to the latter's benefit, the former hasn't done so.

"I knew it! He wasn't a human after all.. then what is he?"

Jigen spoke to himself with wide eyes as he trembles, fearing on how he will now approach the creature he just saved.

But Jigen did not bother to be shocked for oong by what he just witnessed, because as a monk from a religious sect that believes in all magical things, he do believes that magical beings like Isshiki exists out there, though he was still quite shocked to witness such a being firsthand.

He then resolved himself to find the courage to kick out he unknown threat named Isshiki from his far from peaceful abode, although he did save him had now changed his mind regarding Isshiki due to what he just witnessed.

"I guess it is now time to kick him out..."

Jigen quietly spoke from the bushes.

"But how? what if he refuses to leave and forces me to make him stay here with his powers?....Hmm nevermind i will just try to politely ask him to leave, of he were really that evil then maybe he could've already killed me way earlier"

He further contemplated.

Jigen is currently in a perfect angle where he can see a joyous Isshiki training his powers to become someine unmatched in this age before the Six paths.

Isshiki was continuing his tests, but he could not help but wonder

(Wait.. why didn't Isshiki just stuck outside of Jigen? Why did he have to take nutrients from Jigen to live? Why didn't i need to parasitisize Jigen to live?)

Isshiki could not help but come back to wildly ponder again with his burning questions. But alas, no one came to answer his dilemma and so he just went on and continued to train to test his skills.
