Mizuki could be seen standing in his yard, with a concentration exuding face.

* Tzzzz *

A spark could be seen, dancing along his fingers, as he looked at the bright light, without closing his eyes, with full concentration.

* Bzzzzt Bzzzt *

The spark increased in intensity, running around his entire palm now instead of only flowing between his fingers.

As Mizuki's face was illuminated by the blue light of his electricity, he was lost in thought.

' This is it, it wasn't so hard after all, even with my nature is wind.

Seems like getting to know about chakra properties was the essential part, but then again, the one nature I have the in-depth knowledge about is thunder.. my previous home had unearthed the whole mystery behind it in detail and some more.. '

Slowly the crackling lights stopped as Mizuki felt his chakra depleting.

Taking out his notepad Mizuki started noting down his thoughts after the experience

' If we consider chakra as a fluid, every ' nature ' adds a tendency to the fluid, my original wind tends to make the fluid cut adding sharpness to it, the lightning it seems tends to get the fluid to crinkle, I would assume fire tends to make the fluid act as a combustible, like gasoline perhaps?

Mizuki tapped the pen on his notepad as he muttered.

" Now that the lightning transformation has just been achieved, the next step should be to go further with it, it is still far from complete as written here, what I have achieved is only the bare minimum. For comparison it should be Naruto managing to cut a leaf vs him cutting a waterfall later.. "

Bending down, and plucking a fresh leaf from the flower plant below, Mizuki channeled his chakra through it.

Silently dropping the now crumpled leaf, Mizuki said

" I am at cutting a leaf part "

It's written here next is grueling training for months on end possibly years, with a bare only basics explained on how..

" What is this, make your sparks bigger..? Learn more jutsu..!? Patience..? Battles between life and death....?? "

Crushing the training scroll Mizuki threw into the fire burning by his side, something he had set up to check the heat to his raiton.

' Utterly pointless, they are still at the stage of throwing darts at the board and check what sticks, has nobody managed to think why would patience be necessary for lightning release? Or why learning new jutsu helps move it along? What exactly triggers these advancements you supposedly get during the incredibly vague ' life or death battle' or can same effect be achieved viaz say meditation if mental or medicinal triggers if physical, this is utterly pathetic '

Mizuki shook his head, he had expected some form of in depth research from the village, something he would have hoped was present in Konoha, especially with the Senju as the founders.

" But I suppose that is to be expected, Senju aren't exactly around anymore to give merit to their fame of a thousand skills.. such a shame "

Third Hokage's reign was truly devastating for Konoha, it remains to be seen whether it was intentional or accidental.
