Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, this is true in the case of one's daily actions too.

Mizuki till date hadn't made any big waves, but when he did, it sent ripples throughout the world.

Changing things for the better or for worse.

* Sniff *

Land of waves, in an abandoned shack, a sobbing sound could be heard.

If one took a closer look, they would find a yellow haired boy trying to stifle his sobs.

Naruto was crying.

Kakashi lay on the makeshift bed, eyes staring into space, and Sasuke's eyes were spinning red, with a tomoe in each.

Naruto wiped his face, then with a choked voice he said.

" I still can't believe it.. Sakura chan.. she's.. "

Kakashi gripped his fist tightly, but didn't reply.

Sasuke gritted his teeth and said harsh words.

" Get over it, it's done.. "

Looking at Naruto with his red eyes, Sasuke almost yelled.

" Saukra is dead! "

Naruto once again looked down as his eyes turned red, he saw it, he was right there.

He, Sasuke and Kakashi everyone had noticed the rabbit, it was obvious to him that this colour isn't available in the wild, Mizuki sensei had taught him better.

So everyone kinda assumed Saukra knew too, as when they were nodding to each other, she did too.

But in hindsight, she probably was literally randomly nodding, as when the time came and the sword flew towards them, Sakura just decided to stand there.

Like the sword grew flowers she kept looking at it and didn't even attempt to move her muscles, preferring to cry for help instead.

" I am sorry Sakura chan.. I couldn't reach there in time. "

Naruto obviously wanted to help his teammate, but nobody knew she will mess things up so hard.

Neither Naruto, nor Kakashi or Sasuke could do a thing when the sword reached her.

And sliced her head clean off.

True to it's name, the beheading sword, beheaded Sakura.

" Dammit if only I said out loud that the rabbit was wrong..! "

Naruto here, because of Mizuki, wasn't incompetent like he had been in canon.

In the original timeline, he would have made a fuss about the rabbit, which Kakashi swiftly understood and vocally gave the command to dodge.

Naruto's words were what had kept everyone alerted and let them survive, even the dead weight bridge builder had survived that assassination because of Naruto.

But because of a single thing which had changed, so did everything surrounding that event, a casualty had happened on their seven's first mission outside.

* Sigh *

Kakashi was saddened, he once again couldn't protect his team, granted his team wasn't any weaker with the loss of Sakura, it might even be stronger now that they don't have to lug around a dead weight.

But that isn't the kind of Jonin Kakashi was, he wanted to protect his teammates no matter their value, even if their value is in the negatives. But he couldn't do it. He once again failed.

' No, I can still do it. '

Looking at a sad Naruto and Sasuke who had started his Sharingan from shock, Kakashi promised himself, he won't let his teammates die anymore.

And besides Kakashi was remembering one thing Mizuki had told him before.

' Mizuki, you never spoke to Sakura, I understood why, so it was a surprise when that day, in the Hokage office. '

Narrowing his eyes Kakashi remembered Mizuki's words.

' Completely out of character, you spoke to Sakura that day, and the only thing you said was ' Farewell. ' ... Did you already know, Mizuki? '

Kakashi knew Mizuki meant to say something that day, he in Hokage's audience had reminded them by cryptic words, Kakashi understood the words and he did remind himself to be careful.

But who knew Sakura nodded along to look cool infront of Sasuke when they gave a signal! How was he supposed to stop a person who wanted to die so badly.

* Sigh *

Once more sighing, he decided to ask Mizuki how he predicted what would happen, Mizuki must have seen something that he missed.

* Groan *

Looking towards the voice coming from the corner of the shack, the team narrowed their eyes.

It was Zabuza's voice, Sakura's killer, they had managed to capture him when Naruto went berserk, Sakura's death like Sasuke's pseudo death in canon, aroused the nine tails much earlier this time around.

That gave Kakashi the chance to capture the man, and the girl who came to rescue him afterwards.

' It's thanks to Naruto, or we all might have died there. '

Sasuke thought, he didn't want to say it out loud, but that Zabuza was a beast, if sensei fought him, they would have slim chance of scoring a win, especially when the girl named Haku showed up.

' It took Kakashi a lot of hard work to win against that girl, and she is around our age! I am not strong enough.. damn it. '

Sasuke was brooding, and Naruto still kept his head down, but if one would have looked, his eyes had turned slit like, he was consciously accessing the foxes chakra, he right now didn't want to feel weak, and this was what gave him a sense of power and control.

Kakashi was unaware of any of these changes as he walked towards the swordsman.

" Stop pretending, I know you were awake a while ago. "

Zabuza who was lying down, easily opened his eyes. But didn't speak as he decided to observe Kakashi.

Kakashi didn't care, he looked at him as he kept talking.

" There is nothing I want do more than kill you right now. But I won't do that. "

* Smirk *

" I got something more planned for you. Look forward to that. "

Kakashi in his power, would make sure Zabuza suffered and was brought to justice.

Whatever hurt Zabuza most, he would do just that, it wasn't the ninja way he lived by, but it was something he wanted to do.

And just like that, Mizuki made his first big splash in the world, with more waves coming behind this, the world would soon usher in a Tsunami of titanic proportions.
