10 Chapter 10: Academy
"Kabuto, finish getting ready, or do you want to be late on your first day?" I shouted to Kabuto who was still in the bathroom getting ready for his first day of school.
"One second Nii-san!" Kabuto shouted from the other side of the door, a few moments later, Kabuto came out ready to head to school.

Kabuto was wearing the outfit I had bought him, it composed of a light blue long sleeve, with a sleeveless black hoodie with the Uchiha crest on the back, as it was apparently popular with the younger generation, and to finish it off generic black pants and sandals.
"Hahaha, my little brother is a real ladykiller." I said with a chuckle, ruffling his hair, "Stop it, you're embarrassing me." Kabuto protested as I continued.
"Haha, you're right, we should get going, or you're going to be late." I said with a chuckle before we made our way to the door.
Making our way down the busy streets of Konoha, I was happy to see Kabuto had a small smile on his face.
"So, Kabuto, are you excited about your first day?" I asked, deciding to make our short walk less boring.
"A little, I'm just excited to make new friends." Kabuto said with a small smile.
"I see, well, did you understand everything I trained you on in the last few days?" I asked, trying to check if Kabuto remembered.
"Yes, Nii-san, I made sure to practice all the hand seals you taught me, and I already finished learning how to climb trees." Kabuto said, assuring me with a small smile.
"Huh, guess I was worrying about nothing, anyway, we're here." I said, as the gates of the academy meet my eye, and a long with another familiar person entering my sight.
"Mikoto-sama, it's nice to see you again, is this your son Itachi?" I said while I looked down at a young boy Kabuto's age he had black eyes, under which were long, pronounced tear-troughs. He had jet-black hair that was slightly shorter than Kabuto's.
"Oh, Kara-kun, it's good to see you to, and yes, this is my little genius Itachi." Mikoto replied with a wave, while Itachi and Kabuto stared at each other.
"Hahaha, It's always good to hear another genius is here in Konoha, maybe Kabuto and Itachi can be friends." I suggested, as I knew Itachi didn't have many friends.
"Oh, that would be nice, wouldn't it, Itachi?" Mikoto said delighted by the proposition, Itachi didn't have friends due to his quiet nature, and mixed with the fact he was the Heir of his Clan.
Itachi didn't respond and instead gave a small nod, "How about it Kabuto, want to be friends with Itachi?" I asked Kabuto, "Sure!" Kabuto said, happy to have his first friend.
"Alright, I don't want you to be late, I'll pick you up when you get out, alright." I said, giving a smile to Kabuto.
"Okay, Nii-chan." Kabuto said before giving a wave and running through the academy gates, and Itachi followed.
"Aw, they grow up so fast." Mikoto said, shedding a mock tear.
"Haha, yes they do."

Balancing my Chakra, I stood perfectly still on top of the small pond I was practicing on.
Making hand seals, I quickly disrupted the calm water with a Jutsu.
'Suiton: Wild Water Wave.'
Expelling a small amount of water out of my mouth, the water in the small pond was disrupted, quickly moving around the surface of the water, as I kept my balance perfectly.
I've been training the 'Water Walking Exercise' ever since I started training Kabuto, just like most things it was easy to learn, hard to master…
The raging water finally calmed down, and I once again stood still on the calm surface, and my exhausted face turned into a massive grin, as I stared at the system screen.

Quickly walking over to dry land, I sat down and accepted my rewards.
My eyes felt extremely dry, and a tingling feeling was felt from it, I closed my eyelids, for them to adjust.
Opening my eyes, everything felt extremely clear! The feeling was addicting.
'So this is why the Uchiha love their precious Sharingan so much…" I thought inwardly, as no one would want to leave this feeling behind.
Walking over to the nearest puddle, I looked down, and saw my 1 tome Sharingan spinning in my eye socket.
'Seems I'll have to upgrade it further through quests.'
Turning off my Sharingan, I went to the next part of my reward, 'Random B-Rank Jutsu'.
Taking the Random B-Rank Jutsu out of my inventory, the ethereal deck of cards appeared once again, shuffling itself, and spreading the cards out.
Drawing a card from the middle this time, I was surprised once again by the Jutsu.
Suiton: Exploding Water Colliding Wave, a Technique used by Kisame and Nagato, a great Jutsu if you have a large pool of Chakra.
The card turned to ash in my hands, and I felt that same familiar calming feeling as the Jutsu was added to my memories.
After learning the Technique, I wanted to test it out, but I would have to do it in more of a remote area…
Opening my stats, I went to add my Status Points

I was like one hundred words away from finishing this chapter, but some friends wanted to play the new Mario Party with me, so here I am, two hours later finishing this chapter :)
