I opened my eyes and sat up in my bed, stretching my arms.
"ohhh....." I groaned as I felt my entire body completely sore, "Shit....that mission did take its toll on me...."
I rubbed my eye as I noticed sunlight shining through my window's blinds.
"Hm..." I said as I reached over and opened them, "There ya go...."
My room was completely illuminated by the morning light, filling up completely.
I got out of bed and immediately felt my stomach grumble.
"Hungry, huh?" I said, "Guess I'll go down to Ichiraku, see what's up....let me clean myself up..."
I then made my way to the bathroom and accidentally bumped my morning wood against the doorframe.

I walked to the sink and mirror and grabbed the toothbrush and toothpaste as I looked at myself in the mirror; my black hair was all messy.

I turned to see a familiar blonde kid walking up to the stand. It was the infamous Naruto Uzumaki, he was walking next to Kiba, one of the Inuzuka kids and Shikamaru, Shikaku's son. Kiba's dog was behind them panting.
"I'm telling you, man!" Naruto exclaimed, "I can totally beat you at Rock, Paper, Scissors with my eyes closed!!"
"No you can't, Naruto!" Kiba said
"Lower your voices, guys." Shikamaru said groggily, "I just woke up."
"I can-Wait, is that...." Naruto said before he stopped and looked at me, "Midora-san!!!"
I waved at him, "Yo, Naruto." I said, "Long time."
He sat on the stool next to me with a bright smile, "Maaaannnn!!!" He said, "I haven't seen you since last year when you came to meet me and Pervy Sage!!!"
I nodded, "That's right." I said, "You grew taller."
"Hehe!" He chuckled
"Midora-san." Shikamaru said as he sat on my left, "How's your morning?"
I shrugged, "Can't complain." I said as I ate my ramen, "You?"
"Annoyed." He said, "These guys are too loud sometimes."

"Ha!" Kiba said as he sat next to Naruto, "Yo, Midora-san! Can we spar today? I got a new move I wanna try out! Kurenai-sensei said it was alright."
"Nah, can't." I said, "Gotta meet with this one's Sensei and Captain."
Naruto looked at me, "Really?" He asked, "How come?"
"I'll find out when I get there." I said looking at him, "What're you up to, today?"
"Well, I was gonna train later today...." He said putting his hand on his chin, "But before that, Sakura-chan told me I had to go to the Hokage's office and talk to Granny Tsunade....But before that...I gotta eat!!"
I nodded, "You do." I said, "Teuchi, serve these kids a bowl. My treat."
"Ohhh!!" Naruto clapped his hands, "Thank you, Midora! You're the best!!"
I patted his shoulder, "Remember me when you rise to fame and become Hokage." I said as I finished my bowl, "Teuchi, give me the bill, I gotta bounce. Charge me for their bowls too."
"Righto." Teuchi said
I stood up and pulled my money out and began to pay.
"Oh by the way, Midora-san." Shikamaru said seriously, "I received word from Guy-sensei. Something about you and Neji."
"Oh yea." I said, "That. Meh, don't worry about it."
"If you say so." I said, "Anyways, before I meet with Kakashi and Yamato, I have to meet up with someone."
Kiba raised an eyebrow, "Who?"
I smirked, "Your mom." I said
He scowled, "Eh?"

I then walked away.
"Thanks for the Ramen!!" Naruto shouted
I waved him goodbye as I walked away.
