Naruto: Kitsune Diaries

A girl was sitting on a wooden bench. As she opens her eyes, she sees a lake. It appeared to be endless; on the horizon, one could see a range of mountains.

In front of her was a torii; it was captivating, an ethereal sight, standing proudly amidst the embrace of gently flowing waves.

The reflection of the Torii in the water mirrors not just an image but a blend of tangible and intangible beauty.

She gets up from where she was and makes her way over to the Torii. She appears to be floating on water.

As she passed under the Torii, she found herself in another place. In front of her stands a woman, her radiant energy filling the space around her, as if she embodied the brilliance of the sun itself.

As the woman spoke, "As you stand on the path of rebirth, child of the earthly realm, the celestial regions beckon with boundless possibilities. Which realm, in the vastness of eternity, calls to your soul? Is it a magical and wondrous place full of enchantment? Or rather, a calm, thriving planet decorated with the embrace of nature? The compass that directs the path of your spirit is found in your heart. Where would you like to open the next book in your story?"

She was taken aback by what she said. She thought to herself, 'Ehhh?! Who is this woman? What is she talking about? I don't even know her or how I got here... Better be careful...'

The woman chuckled and said, "I am Amaterasu, the bright goddess whose light fills the sky and gives birth to life. My name is heard across the heavens, resonating with the sun's warmth and energy. As you embark on your journey, remember that my radiance watches over you, guiding your spirit with gentle benevolence."

"You, child of the earthly realm, are standing on the threshold of a fresh start. What world calls to your heart as you consider the places that await your essence and the powers that may accompany your journey?" Amaterasu continues 

The girl asked, "What world am I allowed to choose?"

Amaterasu answers, "Child of the cosmos, within the boundless expanse of existence, the realms transcend not just enchantment and nature but traverse the narratives of multiverses. From the heroic realms of Marvel and DC, where valor and powers intertwine, to the elemental harmonies of Avatar and Steven Universe, each world holds its own unique allure. The epic adventures of Naruto or the cosmic battles of Dragon Ball beckon with their own tales of courage and power. Your spirit is free to journey to all but one of these multiverses, to choose a world that resonates with your essence, where your heart finds solace and purpose."

The little girl replied, "I would like to go to Naruto World, please. And as a Kitsunenin."

[a/n Kitsunenin (狐人) means fox person/ninja; 人 can be read as Nin (for here as ninja) and Hito]

Amaterasu announced, "Child of the earthly realm, your selection is in line with the heroic stories of Naruto's realm, where Shinobi's skill and compassion coexist. Becoming a Kitsunenin, a carrier of the fox spirit and its cleverness. It is a route full of mystery. May you go through this world with Kitsune's knowledge, slicing through the colorful Naruto universe with style and cunning. Accept the challenges and victories that lie ahead as your soul is in tune with the spirit of this vibrant universe."

The girl asked, "Can I choose my powers?"

She got a positive reply, "Affirmative."

She asked "Any powers? Like power like even all Fiction?"

"Negative" Amaterasu spoke

The girl asked, "What about something like Kumenju (9 masked beasts) that Menma Uzumaki used? Also, can I have a dojutsu?"

Amaterasu replied, "I will give you a Byakugan and an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and be able to use a tail to summon a beast, let's say the fox demon 'Kon' from Chainsaw Man."

"What name would you want to have? What further abilities do you desire?" she continues 

The girl said, "I will go with my name, 'Nagume'; it's a good name. What about chakra and knowledge ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, fuinjutsu, and iryo ninjutsu?"

Amaterasu spoke "affirmative, choose eight additional beings to represent your other selves. It functions as follows: when you summon forth a creature or animal that you may control, one of your nine tails will vanish and when dismissed your tail will then return to its original form."

Nagume said "Then I will choose Kon the Fox Devil from chainsaw man I will be able to use as Aki but with no payment"

Amaterasu nods

Nagume said, "About other summons, I would like umm... Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga, Round Deer, Divine Dogs, Nue, Toad, Max Elephant?"

Amaterasu said "You can have all of them except Mahoraga."

Nagume said "What if I only use Mahoraga as a trump card same as Kon? Please"

"Somewhat acceptable. Anything else?"

"Umm… nothing else and thank you."

"Then lead a happy life."
