Naruto: Just a test for a possible future release

" 4998..4999…5000! " Hideki fell to the ground when his body couldn't take the wave of exercises any longer.

Ding! [Mission successfully completed!]

[ Reward: Increase your chakra pool by 50%! ]

Hearing this, Hideki smiled happily as a wave of hot energy surged through his body, cooling his tired muscles and nerves.

Ding! [New mission unlocked!]

Mission: [ Kick a tree in the forest until it breaks in half! Time: One month! ]

"Aah, seriously? I'm not a training freak, so why are you doing this to me!?" Hideki yelled in dismay.

Since he was reborn in this world, he was forced to train like a training freak. The system had always given him a new exercise regimen since he was born without even bothering with the thoughts of those around him.

So, from an early age he was persecuted by the two Konoha organizations. The strength of the Hokage and the strength of Danzo. Luckily, the Hokage managed to suppress Danzo's strength preventing him from stealing him.

But Hideki knew that this was only temporary and that it wouldn't be long before Danzo started his machinations again. He also had his family's safety at risk, as the Hokage was only protecting him. And that was what he was most concerned about these days.

Hideki was still only 8 years old, and just a year ago it was the Uchiha massacre. So Konoha was still having trouble dealing with this whole mess.

Falling into deep thoughts, Hideki didn't notice the sound of vague footsteps approaching where he was.

"Hey Hideki-kun! What are you doing?" The person's voice finally prompted him to look around.

"Hm? … Are you…" Looking at the person, Hideki felt that she was familiar to him, he just couldn't remember where.

"Kumia Hikazawa! Have you forgotten? We met at your family's house for their 5th birthday!" The girl replied.

Just after hearing this, a vague memory of the past resurfaced in Hideki's mind.

It was still his 5th birthday and his family invited his many friends and relatives to celebrate. Along came her mother's sister's family, and Kumia Hikazawa was her daughter.

Back then she still had short hair and looked more tomboy than boys, so Hideki thought so too. However, after the party he learned that she was a girl and that she would be attending the same gym as him.

However, even after studying for a year at the academy (in separate rooms) they didn't speak once. Hideki also didn't mind that much as he was busy doing several missions given by the system.

In the end, neither of them tried to get closer and happened to grow further and further away from each other.

But now, Hideki didn't know what to say looking at the girl in front of him. She was no longer dressed like a tomboy, nor was her hair cut short as before.

She was dressed in a yellow dress with red ribbons, a black belt around her waist, and her blond hair in a ponytail style. Along with her almond-colored eyes and pretty face, she wouldn't lose to any of the girls in beauty.

"Is that you!" Hideki blurted out.

"Hm!" Kumia replied blushing. She didn't know why she finally got to him, and now she didn't even have a fright to talk about. This left them both totally embarrassed and in an awkward silence.

"Sigh! I'm training, you know that in my room are all the heir students of the great clans, so I need to train more than them so I don't get too far behind!" Hideki finally answered the first question she asked earlier.

"Yes, I know! I can't imagine the pressure of being in a room with all of them together." Kumia responded with a slight shudder.

Hideki obviously stayed in the room along with the best in the academy because of his talent and hard work. Kumia was not so lucky and stayed in a room with other normal commoners.

Also, she wasn't very fond of training and doing ninja things either, so she didn't try very hard to do her homework. In fact, she was only at the ninja academy because it was something her mother always wanted to do but couldn't because she had a mediocre talent for it.

Her father didn't mind that much either, he just told her to go as far as she could. So in the end Kumia was still among the best in his class even though he didn't try very hard.

"It is complicated!" Hideki said.

He didn't know if anything would change with him interfering with this world, but he knew he couldn't let his relatives and friends die. So, even though he complained about the hard training the system was putting him through, he still did it with maximum effort.

Mission: [ Help Kumia Hikazawa become a genin! Time: unlimited

"Ah! This… how the hell am I going to do this?" Hideki thought angrily.

Looking at the beautiful girl in front of him, Hideki put a smile on his lips before saying,

"It's been a long time since we talked, right? How about you come train with me tomorrow and let me know the news?"

Kumia was surprised to hear this, not least because she had something she would also like to ask him. She just didn't expect him to ask it like he was reading her thoughts!

But still, this was a good excuse to get close to him and train at the same time. So she nodded after being silent for a few seconds.

"Fine, but I'm not a training freak like you. So you have to go easy on me!" She said with a smile.

"Eh! Is that how people are seeing me now? A training freak?" Hideki's head dropped forward in dismay.

Laughing at his expression, Kumia walked over and sat beside him on the floor. 

"Yes, everyone says you seem to train more than that other smaller eyebrows, but you're not at the level of the bigger eyebrows yet!" She said laughing even harder.

Hideki felt like an arrow hit his insides when he found out he was being compared to those two madmen.

"Kumia, can you cut here?" Hideki said in depression as he extended his wrist.

"Hahahaha!" Kumia burst out laughing seeing this! "It's not that bad. Those two look really funny when they're training together!" 

So the two continued to talk for the rest of the day. And without realizing it, the relationship that was about to fade away rekindled again, and it seemed to be getting even stronger.
