147 Family Bonding

Obito POV

I cursed underneath the mask staring at the bodies Kabuto gave me as compensation for the living Jinchūriki. I had my doubts about the war with so many Jinchūriki still alive and this Yamamoto lurking in the shadows.

All of those minuscule doubts were gone when Kabuto presented me with the Edo Madara. I knew that Madara wouldn't be happy to be revived by such a Jutsu and would prefer to be alive, but with him on our side, not even the Jinchūriki would stand a chance.

My eyes fell on the imperfect Jinchūriki, as I would call them. The chakra inside of them was connected to the Gedo Mazo and I could control each incomplete Tailed Beast.

I had 5 incomplete Jinchūriki, from the Ishibi to the Gobi while there were 5 Jinchūriki alive. I, too, would be fighting.

"Let's get this over with and create the Infinite Tsukoyomi."

General POV

Naruto and Killer B both went toward the chakra of their enemy.

The moment Naruto felt Madara approaching. a golden chakra arm stretched upwards and chakra gathered to form a Rasengan.

It grew larger until a Rasenshuriken was formed and with no hesitation, Naruto threw it forward.

"Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!"

The Rasenshuriken exploded, creating a massive crater.

"Yo, better not throw that at me, fool, you fool," B spoke surprised at the destruction the chakra ball caused.

"Naruto Uzumaki. I am glad you came to me with the Hashibi Jinchūriki. It will make it easy to extract them from your bodies," Obito's voice resonated from inside the crater.

Naruto and B looked down to see Obito with his new gear and mask standing still, yet completely unharmed. One would think the attack didn't even hit the area when disregarding the gigantic crater but seeing the regenerating forms of the incomplete Jinchūriki, their opponent must have somehow avoided it and was therefore mortal.

"Capture them," Obito ordered, and the Edo Tensei Jinchūriki roared and charged at Naruto and B.

General POV

On another battlefield, Fuu flew through the air, cutting the Edo Tensei's left and right so that the sealing team could seal them.

~Boom~

Fuu stopped her path towards the poisonous gas she smelled on the other side and turned her head toward the explosion. Something was telling her to go there. She trusted her instincts, so when jumping on a tree, she turned 90 degrees and followed the smoke.

"Ah, I am so lucky to recognize that chakra. It has been a while since I felt it. Your opponent is my previous host, Fuu," Chomei purred as he remembered the person.

Fuu's eyes widened, and her heart rate skyrocketed when she heard Chomei inside her speak. The people of Takigakure never really talked to her about anything due to her being a Jinchūriki, they outright avoided her in fear of Chomei.

Yet little Fuu was a curious child. And as children had many questions, she wanted answers to them.

Even if her life turned better once she left Taki and while Ishizu answered most of her unanswered questions, one question remained open that even he could not tell her.

Who were her parents? The questioned plagued her since she realized that children should have parents to take care of them. When the opportunity presented itself, she came to the only person she thought would know to answer it. She went to Ishizu.

Flashback

Fuu stood before the home of Ishizu Sasaki, the man who helped her escape and gave her a new life in Konoha.

"I am a sensor. I can feel your chakra behind the door, Fuu. Just come in and ask what you want."

Being exposed, the girl blushed in embarrassment before she opened the door. When she first saw Ishizu Sasaki, she thought of him as a knight in shining armor. Somebody from the stories she read that would save the damsel in distress. Well, he played this part well when they escaped Taki.

Seeing him with red goggles over his forehead and an ink-covered face made her dream bubble burst. Apparently, he saw through the look she was giving him. He snorted and rolled his eyes.

"Fuinjutsu isn't all about storage seals and throwing paper bombs at your enemies. People buy them from the shops but forget that all that fancy stuff had to be created and sometimes… stuff can go wrong. Anyway, what can I do for you, Fuu?"

Fuu didn't want to make this any more awkward and spoke out the question she wanted to have answered.

"Do you know if my mother or father were the previous Jinchūriki of Chomei?"

Ishizu raised an eyebrow at the question before stopping whatever he was doing and faced her more directly.

"Couldn't Chomei himself answer you this question? I mean, he had to be in someone that."

"Of course, I have asked him, but at that time Chomei wasn't in his right mind since it was a time when he had almost escaped."

Ishizu sighed and didn't know how to answer. He had honestly no idea if Fuu's mother was the previous Jinchūriki of Chomei. That only held true for Kurama, since Gyuki's previous Jinchūriki didn't have any relationship with B.

Compatibility was an essential factor in becoming one. Mito was only related to Kuchina by clan and not by blood.

"I am sorry, but I honestly don't know the answer. Maybe? The mortality of a female Jinchūriki is quite high during childbirth since pregnancies weaken seals as more chakra is used to grow the baby."

Flashback end

'Please let it be true. Please let it be true.'

The area Fuu arrived on was covered in broken tree stumps done by explosions and a few unconscious or dead allied Shinobi lay on the ground. Groans of pain resonated throughout the area.

In the middle of the massacre stood a female shinobi, with her hand outstretched and clutching a Shinobi by his throat.

Her eyes still had that orange tone in them despite them being darker in the Edo Tensei. Cracks formed on her tanned skilled but what stood out was the bright, long green hair. One similar to Fuu's.

"Ah, I am lucky to remember now. That green hair and orange eyes are hard to miss. She was my third jailor. Be careful Fuu. Her features look sweet but don't get fooled because her mouth… is so unlucky," Chomei spoke in Fuu's mind, remembering the rude female Jinchūriki.

"Is that all you pathetic scum can do? I have been dead for sometimes and you pussies can't even kill me. What do you want?"

The woman in question slapped her current victim a few more times and his mouth moved to answer.

"You, argh, are dead. We… need to seal you," the ninja in her grasp spoke out in pain before she snapped his neck, killing him.

"You want a piece of me, huh? I will rip out your tongues and burn your skin and throw you into salt water."

Fuu's face was blank as she stared at the woman who supposedly was her mother. Her brain was rebooting.

If Ishizu looked at the scene, he would have dropped to the ground while laughing non-stop. Not even he would have connected those two as mother and daughter.

Their personalities were like hot and cold.

Kana, no last name, was a Kunoichi Ishizu who had encountered a couple of times during the time after the Third Shinobi War while he was doing missions around Taki.

Her light green hair was something uncommon, and even Ishizu had doubts about why she wasn't a character introduced in the series.

Kana's bingo book entry was 'Sailors Tongue' due to her having a mouth worse than Hidan cursing in almost every if not every sentence.

Although she was a Jonin of Takigakure, nobody, not even Ishizu, knew outside of Taki that she was the previous host of Chomei. That secret was heavily guarded, after all.

Her skills in Taijutsu and Genjutsu were average for a Jonin, but she made it up with her weird ninjutsu she used, and that helped her with her nickname.

"Talk motherfucker" was a rather... unique and useful ability for information gathering. Ishizu had the honor of experiencing it on his own.

For the ability to work, Kana had to ask a question and in the next moment physically hurt the target. If those conditions are met, then the receiver of said punches will talk even if he tried to stop the information from leaking.

"That can't be," muttered Fuu before dodging a water dragon Jutsu.

"Ah, another one came to die by my hand. Maybe you…"

Kana paused her sentence midway as she frowned. Something was wrong.

"You…"

Kana narrowed her eyes and looked at her opponent.

Kana POV

I can't curse. I always curse when fighting my opponents. That's how my Jutsu works, but I can't curse before her.

Why?

For a moment, I took in the figure of my opponent and really looked at her. That's when I saw her hair. Mint. A darker version of mine.

No, it can't be.

"Fuu?"

Fuu POV

"You know me?"

My mouth got dry, and I felt my heart pumping blood through my body.

My question caused the woman to scoff.

"As if I can't recognize the pain I had when birthing you. That's why I named you Fuu since I couldn't curse around my daughter. You were just so cute as a baby when I held you in my arms before I died."

Tears dropped down my eyes that I quickly wiped away.

"I knew I had a mother."

"Yes, yes. I am also happy to see you. Now be a good girl and get me back to my husband, young lady. Though, first, I want to see what happened to my baby daughter. Show me that giving birth to you wasn't wasted. We are shinobi after all."

I didn't know if this was a hallucination, but I could see the yellow eyes of my mother glowing over the Edo eyes.

"Now, show me who you are Fuu! Make mommy proud!"

Another water dragon rose, and I used Chomei's chakra to enter 3 Tails mode and destroy the dragon.

"Yes! You are a f… a, argh, I can't curse. Hahaha! Whatever! You are strong, Fuu. I can't be prouder than now."

I felt something dripping down my face.

'You are crying again, little bug,' Chomei called out when I didn't realize it.

Of course, I was proud. My mother, who died, was proud of me.

"Stop crying just because I praised you!"

"No! I fucking won't!" screamed Fuu with a smile on her face, surprising both Chomei and Kana at the language.

"From the day I can remember, I was alone. Everyone hated me or wanted to use Chomei as a weapon. When I was spying on the other children, I saw how they were cared for by their mothers and I always asked myself: 'How would my mother be? Would she praise me for doing things right and scold me for doing something stupid?'"

Another tail appeared, Fuu making her enter the second form.

"Through Ishizu-sensei and Naruto-kun, I found a family, but deep in my heart, I always longed for you. So don't you fucking dare tell me to stop crying!" Fuu rushed at her mother and with one claw decapitated her upper body.

"Carefully, Fuu. She isn't dead. The Edo Tensei keeps her alive," Chomei voiced out.

"I know. Ishizu-sensei explained the kinjutsu to me. Unfortunately, I can't seal her, so we have to either hope someone comes or find another way."

General POV

"Ishizu, Ishizu, Ishizu. Hmm, the name rings a bell in my brain. I don't remember the people I killed, so the only option is he is alive. Taki didn't have anyone with that name. Also, there weren't many enemies who survived my wrath." Kana's eyes were closed as her body regrew.

Gears were turning inside her head as Kana was trying to match a face to the name Ishizu.

'Iwa is out and so is Kumo. Pakura and Rasa are the only ones I remember from Suna and Kiri has some funny individuals, but not one matches the name. That leaves Konoha.'

"You are a Konoha Shinobi, Fuu?"

Fuu nodded proudly at her mother.

"I have found the family and somebody to love. I wish you were part of this," Fuu looked sad, but then her mother busted out laughing.

"Hahahaha, I remember who you are talking about! That little shi… argh, the boy from Konoha that people called 'The Strategist'. I once caught him and gave him a rough beating. For a strategist, that kid was suicidal and yet the title holds true since he managed to escape." Kana had a smile on her face, remembering the crazy boy from before.
