As time went by, Haru continued with his routine. However, he started spending more time with Nawaki and the others. At first, his interactions with them were solely based on their identities, but as he got to know them better, he formed close bonds, particularly with Nawaki. Nawaki took a liking to Haru and saw him as his best friend. , and would get sulky if He didn't play with him. This resulted in Haru being forced to play with the children every other day. In the end, Haru didn't mind it as he began to see Nawaki as a true friend due to his simple nature and sincerity.

Haru did not notice, but as he spent more time in the ninja world, he began to change gradually. In his past life, his parents divorced when he was very young and both of them started new families, even though they still spent time with him. he always felt that he didn't belong anywhere. These insecurities made him very withdrawn by nature, so he spent most of his teenage years without any friends and even in his adult years, he only had a few acquaintances. But here he started to slowly becoming more social and forming friendships

Haru had forgotten some things, and as time went by, his personal life memories were becoming hazy. Perhaps this was for the better, as he could live his new life more freely without any attachments.

On this day, Haru was sitting under a tree in the playground as usual, reading a book with the sounds of children playing filling his ears. Suddenly, Nawaki came running up, shouting, "Haru, Haru! Come on, let's go show them how strong we are!" Haru didn't look up from his book and replied, sarcastically, "You lost again?"

Nawaki smiled cheekily, "Well, it doesn't matter. Once you join me, we'll defeat all of them." Haru sighed and got up, saying, "How many times have I told you already? If you use your mind a little, with your physical ability, none of them will win."

Nawaki replied confidently, "You're my right-hand man. I'll leave the strategy to you." Haru just sighed and went with him, knowing that nothing he said would convince Nawaki. He didn't play with the them, but instead supported them tactically, because if he joined, "the game would become unfair, and the fun would be lost

After several more victories, Nawaki had become content, and he and Haru returned to the village. Upon reaching a well-known shop, Nawaki walked in, calling for dango. The shopkeeper smiled and didn't mind Nawaki's boisterous voice. Nawaki held a special position in Konoha as the grandson of the First Hokage and a relative of the Second Hokage. His older sister, Tsunade, was the disciple of the Third Hokage. Therefore, everyone in Konoha, including both ninja and civilians, treated nawaki kindly

Nawaki was having a great time as he savored his dango until Haru's voice interrupted him. "Nawaki, did you do your homework today?" Nawaki stopped mid-bite, petrified, with a look of defeat on his face. Haru looked at him with amusement, as this expression was very familiar to him.

Nawaki snapped back to reality and looked at Haru with pleading eyes. But Haru was not swayed and replied without giving Nawaki a chance to speak. "No, you have to do it yourself. I already told you last time that I wouldn't help you again." Nawaki once again looked like the world was ending. A few minutes later, after having his fun, Haru relented. "Come on, I'll help you, but you have to do it yourself. I'll just help explain it to you." Nawaki's mood did a 180-degree turn and he started running and urging Haru to hurry.

After running for a short while, the two boys stopped in front of a towering gate. Nawaki knocked until the door was opened by a middle-aged man who greeted them with a warm smile. "Welcome back, Nawaki-kun," he said, also offering a friendly smile to Haru. Haru returned the greeting and ran after Nawaki, who had already gone inside. As he entered, he was greeted with smiles from the people in the Senju clan, who were familiar with him as Nawaki's friend.

This was the grounds of the Senju clan, a sprawling area filled with many houses and lush greenery. The ground was dotted with cherry blossom trees and the air was filled with their sweet fragrance. Children were playing and laughing, ninja were training, and the sounds of daily life echoed through the area. The clan was still thriving, giving the grounds a lively and bustling atmosphere. When Haru reached the largest house, a maid greeted him, informing him that "Nawaki-sama is in his room, Haru-kun." Haru nodded and went inside, where he was greeted with the sight of Nawaki surrounded by a large amount of paper.

Haru took a deep breath to calm himself down, then spoke through gritted teeth. "When is your homework due, Nawaki?"

Nawaki replied, looking flustered, "Tomorrow."

Haru spoke with a doubtful tone, "was all of this homework given to you yesterday"

Nawaki replied, stammering, "Well, some of it was given to me last week." He looked at Haru with an apologetic expression and said, "just help with a little bit, it doesn't matter if I dont finish it all"

Haru replied with a sigh, "Idiot, of course it matters. Do you want to be punished again? Let's start, we don't have a lot of time." All he got in response was a huge smile from Nawaki that could have melted the sun.

Hours passed and Haru looked at Nawaki, who was already asleep with the pen still in his hand. Haru got up and helped him finish the last piece of homework before covering him up so he wouldn't catch a cold. He was about to leave when the maid from earlier stopped him. "Haru-kun, you can spend the night here, it's already midnight." Seeing the hesitant look on his face, the maid added, "Don't worry, we already sent someone to inform the Dean about your stay." Haru thanked her before heading back to the room and falling asleep, tired.
