Naruto, Nine Tails Jinchūriki

Outside Konoha Village, in a clearing, the Nine Tails, which had just caused a major disturbance in the village, had been relocated here.

Kushina activated the unique sealing technique of the Uzumaki clan, surrounding the Nine Tails with chains made of Chakra and isolating the area with a protective barrier.

As the retired Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, arrived with reinforcements, they could only observe Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina engaged in a heated argument from a distance, outside the protective barrier.

Kushina, having been the previous Jinchūriki of the Nine Tails and possessing extensive knowledge of powerful sealing techniques, had managed to immobilize the beast. However, being a Jinchūriki had taken a toll on her, and her ability to control the Nine Tails was waning. It was uncertain how much longer she could maintain control, and the possibility of her imminent death loomed.

"Minato, I'm at my limit. I could die any moment, and I'm willing to go down with the Nine Tails," Kushina said through gritted teeth, her determination evident.

Minato, however, responded, "It's not that simple. The tail beast won't die easily. Even if it dies now, it will eventually be resurrected in a wild state."

The tail beasts were originally part of the Ten Tails and were essentially manifestations of Chakra. Killing them wouldn't truly eliminate them; they would eventually return.

"Furthermore, the war isn't over, especially with the Cloud Shinobi Village eyeing us. As someone who has lost their homeland and family due to war, you understand how vulnerable Konoha would be without the Nine Tails' power."

Kushina hailed from the Uzumaki clan, but her homeland, the Uzumaki country, had been destroyed. Minato's unspoken message was clear: "I want to reseal the Nine Tails, and..."

Kushina anticipated his next words, her eyes widening in realization.

Minato took a deep breath and finally revealed his plan, "I want to take our son and make Naruto the new Jinchūriki of the Nine Tails."

Kushina reacted with immediate shock and resistance, "That's impossible! You know how difficult a Jinchūriki's life is, and Naruto is so young. Plus, despite your knowledge of sealing techniques, you're not as strong as Mito-sama. How could you possibly seal the Nine Tails?"

Minato simply stated, "The Reaper Death Seal."

Kushina took a deep breath, realizing he was referring to the Forbidden Technique. Using this technique meant that the caster's soul would be sacrificed in the process. It was an immensely powerful and deadly sealing technique, designed to trap the target's soul.

But the price for using the Forbidden Technique was the caster's own soul, which would be eternally bound with the target's in Shinigami's belly.

It was a gruesome and irreversible choice.

Minato was well aware of the consequences, and he gazed at Kushina with a mixture of tenderness and sorrow in his eyes. He had already accepted his impending death because he knew Kushina was bound to die as well.

If only the Nine Tails would cooperate and return to Kushina willingly, there might be a chance to save her. But with the Nine Tails' hatred for humans, especially Kushina and the previous Jinchūriki, Uzumaki Mito, such a scenario seemed unlikely.

Minato was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for his family, demonstrating his unwavering resolve in protecting them.

Kushina, desperately wanting to find an alternative, tried to persuade him further, "Minato, you don't have to die. You can take care of Naruto on your own."

Minato, however, was resolute. He swiftly completed the seal, sealing the Nine Tails with the Forbidden Technique. Once the seal was in place, his contract with Shinigami was sealed as well, a decision with no turning back.

Kushina was heartbroken and muttered, "If we could all survive, just the three of us together, watching Naruto grow up, seeing him marry and have children, that would be a happy life for me."

But even such simple happiness and wishes seemed unattainable.

Minato couldn't help but shed tears, trying to console her, "Don't worry, Kushina. I can seal some of your Chakra into Naruto's body, so you can watch over his growth. He will need the power of the Nine Tails in the future, and I hope you can assist him then."

Kushina looked at Minato with a wry smile, "Is that really worth the price of your life?"

Perhaps, in Minato's eyes, it was worth it.

Kushina eventually stopped trying to dissuade him, and Minato proceeded with sealing the Nine Tails. Under Kushina's restraint, the beast was unable to escape, and Minato successfully extracted half of its Chakra from his own body.

Considering that Naruto was still an infant, Minato was cautious about sealing the entire Nine Tails into him. Instead, he sealed only half of its Chakra into the baby and employed the Eight Sign Seal, an exceptional sealing technique among all Jinchūriki seals.

Minato was on the verge of relief after completing these actions. However, in an unexpected turn of events, the Nine Tails, taking advantage of the momentary relaxation between the two, swung its massive claws menacingly toward Naruto.
