Sakumo entered the room and found Kiyomi lying there with a newborn boy with white hair.

Sakumo held Kakashi in his arms and said, "He really resembles me."

Kiyomi smiled at Sakumo. Michikatsu approached her and asked, "Are you alright, mother?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Won't you come see your brother and hold him?" Kiyomi replied.

Michikatsu became nervous upon hearing this. Kiyomi noticed and playfully teased, "Don't tell me the greatest genius of Konoha is nervous about holding a child."

Michikatsu was indeed nervous. He had memories of Kokushibo's countless battles, but he had no experience in handling a child, neither in his past life nor in his current one.

Sakumo also noticed Michikatsu's nervousness and handed him the child, saying, "Here, hold your brother."

Michikatsu carefully cradled the child in his arms and looked at him. The baby smiled up at Michikatsu.

"Michi, you get to name your brother," Sakumo suggested.

"It's nothing, and I hope that he also becomes a genius like Michikatsu," Biwa remarked.

After that, Biwa left, and the family spent some quality time together.

The next day, Kiyomi was discharged from the hospital, after all this is Naruto world where there are medical ninjas, and everyone returned home. Kakashi was sleeping in Michikatsu's lap.

"Michi, have you applied for graduation?" Sakumo inquired.

"Yes, my graduation exam is tomorrow," Michikatsu replied.

"Hmm, you should be added as a substitute on a team, as no new teams would have formed by now," Sakumo advised.

"I was guessing as much," Michikatsu said.

"I also have to leave for the battlefield today. The Hokage granted me special permission due to Kiyomi's impending childbirth. But now that Kakashi is born, I need to go," said Sakumo.

The following day, when he arrived at the academy, he was once again greeted by the same chunin teacher. The teacher said, "Starting today, your Jonin mentor will be Nakamura Jonin, and with your intelligence, you might have already guessed that you'll be joining an existing group."

"Hmm, I expected as much," replied Michikatsu.

At that moment, a man with black hair and wearing a Jonin vest entered the room, a smile on his face. He said, "Hello, nice to meet you, Michikatsu, my name is Nakamura a Jonin. Please follow me, and I'll introduce you to the rest of our teammates."

Michikatsu nodded and left with Nakamura Jonin. When he arrived at the designated place, he saw a boy and a girl. One of them was Senju Nawaki, who is Tsunade's brother, and the other was an unknown person.

"Hello, Nawaki, and hello, Matsuda. Meet Hatake Michikatsu, who will be the third member of our team. He will be your new teammate. I understand it's very hard for both of you to accept a new teammate so soon after the old team met its demise. But you have to understand that the Second Ninja World War has already started, and now we have to focus on our village's security rather than grieving over our deceased comrades," First Nakamura greeted them and then explained why Michikatsu was with them.

"I don't care as long as he doesn't hold me back," said Matsuda.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Senju Nawaki, and, like my grandfather, I want to become a powerful and kind Hokage. Please don't mind his behavior; he's like this, but he has a good heart," said Nawaki.

Michikatsu nodded towards Nawaki in response and said, "My name is Hatake Michikatsu, and my goal and dream are one and the same: to protect my family."

"Now that the introductions are over, I would like all of you to attack me with everything you've got. This will help improve your teamwork," said Nakamura.

"Attack when you're ready," Nakamura's voice rang out.

Michikatsu wanted to gauge how far he was from a Jonin who had honed himself in many battles.

"You two step back. I want to fight him alone, and if you find any openings in his attack, you are free to use them as you please," said Michikatsu.

"What do you mean, kid?" said Matsuda.

"I mean exactly what I said," Michikatsu didn't even look at Matsuda, drew his katana, and began to use his breathing technique Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash.

With incredible speed, Michikatsu appeared in front of Nakamura and aimed a slash at Nakamura's head.

Nakamura used his kunai to defend against Michikatsu's attack while distancing himself. Nakamura said, "Your speed has increased significantly since your battle with the Chunin from Sunagakure. I would guess that after a few more months of training, you'll be able to fight toe to toe with Special Jonin based on your speed."
