10 Chapter 10 : Failed Prophecy

"It has been a decade since I arrived in this world," muttered Yasao.

I had just landed in this world and discovered that it was the universe of ninja.

Anxiety coursed through me as I realized the sheer danger of this world, where conflict seemed to lurk around every corner. Without strength, survival remained uncertain.

In this world, even minor skirmishes among ninja could prove fatal.

Yet, fortune favored me with a deduction system capable of deducing anything.

Whether it was the worlds of imagination, combat techniques, physical skills, or mystical arts from other worlds, I could deduce them one by one.

My initial choice was to adopt the Vajra Body Technique, a form of taijutsu, into this ninja world. It substantially enhanced my physical prowess, fortified my defense, and elevated my body to a level of near-invulnerability.

At present, I had mastered the Vajra Body Technique to its zenith. I couldn't gauge its true might, however, since I had yet to engage in combat.

I remained concealed in the shadows, always concealing my identity beneath a mask.

I was aware that Ōtsutsuki spies had infiltrated the ninja world. The original story only hinted at a few Ōtsutsuki members, but who knew how many powerful Ōtsutsuki resided within their clan?

Hence, I operated covertly, training my subordinates and building my influence. No one was aware of the other powers at play within the ninja world.

Simultaneously, I continued honing my abilities.

Thanks to the deduction system, I mastered numerous martial arts, including True Dragon Fist, Zen of Unbounded Freedom, and even ninjutsu.

My expertise extended to secret techniques, item crafting, alchemy, and formation arts.

Recently, I even ventured into deciphering the Pangu's Body Art, although progress remained slow at a mere 1%. Nevertheless, this technique outshone all others in its potential.

I couldn't say for certain if I had surpassed Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, as I had never battled her. But I sensed that my strength had grown significantly.

"I intended to remain hidden, but this Golden List has exposed something about me," I muttered.

I refrained from hastily approaching this enigmatic Golden List because I could not discern its nature.

The fact that it remained inscrutable indicated that my strength was insufficient, necessitating further dedication to my training.

Nonetheless, the Golden List's appearance had bestowed certain advantages upon me.

I had obtained rare treasures unattainable within the ninja world, such as the Thousand-Year Dragon Yuan. Although I had devised a technique to extend my lifespan, gaining an additional thousand years was undeniably beneficial.

Without hesitation, I swallowed the Thousand-Year Dragon Yuan and chewed it thoughtfully. "Average taste."

Swiftly, I invoked the True Dragon Fist, allowing the power of the True Dragon to refine the dragon essence within me. My vitality surged, and my physical attributes improved.

Meanwhile, Garaga was undergoing a transformation, evolving from the bloodline of a giant snake to that of a dragon. Scales shed, replaced by pristine dragon scales. Garaga's aura shifted, radiating the formidable presence of a Flood Dragon, paralyzing creatures nearby.

"Too much commotion," I murmured and erected a protective barrier to conceal Garaga's transformation.

After a day, Garaga had fully metamorphosed into a red dragon, its strength enhanced tenfold. It then shrank into the form of a burly man and flew to my side.

"Thank you, Master!" Garaga expressed his gratitude.

"I don't particularly fancy your current appearance. Return to being a red dragon," I commanded.

"Yes, Master!" Garaga transformed into a smaller, less intimidating red flood dragon.

"Continue your training. Stepping into the Six Paths level is but a modest achievement," I advised before allowing Garaga to proceed.

Elsewhere, at Mount Myōboku, the Great Toad Sage withdrew from Golden List live room.

He was deeply intrigued by Yasao's identity. He had once foreseen Jiraiya's future but found no trace of Yasao.

Typically, enigmatic figures like Yasao should leave no trace in the ninja world.

"With my prophetic abilities, not even the Sage of Six Paths could fully elude me," the Great Toad Sage mused.

He decided to try predicting Yasao's future. Armed with knowledge of Yasao's name, appearance, and unique skills, he believed he could discern more about this mysterious individual.

His prophecy could be conducted within a dream, yielding valuable insights.

However, his dream was abruptly disrupted. As he reached out to touch the figure in his dream, a formidable force tore through the void ahead.

In an instant, the dream shattered.

Prophecy Backlash!

The Great Toad Sage woke up and realized he was injuired, his vitality waning.

"Great Toad Sage!" Gamabunta rushed over, alarmed.

"I'm fine, it's just the backlash from a failed prophecy," the Great Toad Sage assured him.

"How could there be backlash from your prophecies?"

Gamabunta was baffled.

"I attempted to predict Yasao, but there was something impenetrable protecting him. The moment I tried to predict him, I experienced backlash," the Great Toad Sage explained.

"But you've never encountered backlash when predicting the Sage of Six Paths. How can this be?"

Gamabunta was dumbfounded.

"Do not cross paths with Yasao in the future. This person is mysterious and unfathomable," the Great Toad Sage warned.

"Yes," Gamabunta and the other toads replied.

Meanwhile, in the Cloud Shinobi Village, the Fourth Raikage had extracted the Thunder Fruit and was in the process of refining it.
