5 Chapter-5: Trouble brews in dark and in light!
After attending the feast, I immediately went back inside my room and called in a servant to fetch me a few scrolls, brush and ink.
I've been practicing writing for some time, so I think I will be able to start.
It was research time.
I've been wanting to start it for a long time now.
The reason for my research?
I will carefully built my knowledge on chakra and stem my understanding in a different branch.
The thing I want is that whenever I witness any chakra-related phenomenon, I want to be able to at least discern what is actually happening. Basically an assistance tool to achieve knowledge of virtually all jutsus out there.
I immediately activated Byakugan and started playing with chakra, running it through my body, releasing it from my different tenketsu points and releasing some out of my body as well.
After a few minutes of playing, I started writing.
"Chakra. A mysterious energy that most living beings tend to hold. It can be manipulated and thrown around in a specific fashion to manifest a phenomenon that otherwise, wouldn't be possible. Isn't visible to naked eye, unless the concentration is very high or amount is large. Specific tenketsu restrict it's flow but for Hyugas, they have innate capabilities to release chakra through them, giving them an edge when it comes to control over chakra..."
I wrote as I repeated after myself.
This was first time I was doing any form of research so I was bound to make many errors but I believe that with hard work, more accurate results and some refining, I will be able to eventually understand a lot about chakra.
After writing for some more time, I called in 1 (Ichi) and 2 (Ni) to lead me to the training ground where I asked them to perform several ninjutsu for me as I observed them with Byakugan and noted each detail I could, trying my best to not miss any details and clearing any sense of doubt which may build up during the phase by consulting both the ninjas and a few mentors of mine.
This went on for about an hour and I closed the book, choosing to stop for the day.
My chakra reserves were already depleted and if I exert myself anymore, I might faint. I seriously need to start training in chakra and work on my control. I am wasting too much chakra.
After the experimentations were done, I headed towards the clan leader's office to work on a couple of documents along with father. I had a break for the day and it's better to spend it in his office and maybe learn a few new things.
Most information flows through his office because of the clan's structure and working, hence it's the place to hang out.

As Junichiro Hyuga was studying, the rift between Senju and Uchiha was widening.
They were on a war.
They would kill each other ruthlessly under leadership of their capable leaders, Senju Butsuma and Uchiha Tajima.
After the relationship-

Friendship between Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju was discovered and broken up by them, they have been on constant onslaught, trying to wipe out each others' clans and finish the cycle once and for all.
Black Zetsu has also been killing a few ninjas here and there to enrage both clans as well.
The perfect candidates for his mother's revival were already born.
There was no need for him to still allow more variables to exist.
He want to cut off the future potential and reduce any outcome as well.
He was keeping a strict eye on both the clans. Any bit of carelessness wasn't allowed.
The situation across the elemental nations was stiff.
The tides of war and blood was being constantly perpetrated in a cycle of trying to gain more power.
Many alliances were being made and many were being broken.
During this, one clan out there, Kumanoi clan was trying to prepare for the vengeance against the Hyugas.

Kumanoi clan.
One of the minor clans out there.
They didn't hold specific advantage to them.
To any strong ninja, they were akin to ragtag group of bandits.
They were trying to discover a drug these days.
A drug that would grant them Eternal youth.
Since chakra was found and it's miraculous properties were seen, many people started researching crazily over the Eternal youth.
Everyone and their moms wanted Eternal youth. After all, in such times, The idea of being implied that you would always be in peak condition.
This would promote growth of clan and authority to flaunt around.
Kumanoi clan believed that they were very close to realizing this idea.
They had invested several generations in the research.
Each clan member did some research at some point in their lives, just dabbling around, trying to create a miraculous drug but none succeeded.
But one day, they made a powder.
It was a very interesting powder that everyone thought would grant eternal youth. A bright blue colored powder.
Just as the first candidate was about to test the product, a group of Hyugas, who were there to sell healing cream entered their clan exchange grounds to witness the testing.
Kumanoi clan was very close with Hyugas.
No.
It would be better to say that they were essentially slaves of Hyugas.
They would share a 90% of their herbs in exchange for a few healing creams to use, a priceless commodity in the current era.
Just as a pinch of powder was consumed by the test subject Souma Kumanoi, His face exploded.
They had accidentally found out they made a powder, which would explode when exposed to liquid. The shock from sudden explosion was very much stunning but those who recovered and realized what happened and what were the implications of this, they instantly attacked the few Hyugas.
The remaining clan saw this and also realized what was happening and they also started attacking the Hyugas.
Three 14 year old Hyugas were killed mercilessly but they didn't die in vain. They took 8 members of the clan.
It was time to fight.
Kumanoi clan had rebelled against Hyuga clan.
They were trying to oppose their fate of being slaves. They had the powder to help them.
All of them simultaneously started producing powder just a few minutes later.
A few people exploded but those who got the hang of it started rapidly producing it.
A war was coming.
They had to be prepared.

Just as the Kumanoi clan was rushing to produce the blue powder, Main family Hyuga clan, that found out that 3 Hyugas had died through caged bird seal, immediately arrived to clan leader's office where Michikatsu Hyuga, their current clan leader was working on a document along with Junichiro Hyuga, their future clan leader.
"Clan leader, 3 light of birds were blown away. Kumanoi clan's trader nin have died. According to one of their summons, they were killed by Kumanoi clan members. It is confirmed by another family member with same summonings." An old man said as he kneeled.
This was Bird watcher Yuta from main branch.
He was responsible for hall of light.
Hall of light was a giant hall where each branch family Hyuga's information, photo and a small lamp was lit, which was connected with caged bird seal.
The lamp automatically blows out when Branch member dies, allowing clan to know whether someone is alive or dead.
"We've been taking care of them and this is how they reciprocate our kindness?" He said as looked at his aid who immediately knelt on the ground, ready to take any orders.
"Send a few scouts to get more information about what is going on and bring the maps to the war room. It seems we will be teaching young Junichiro how to fight a war today." He said with a bone chilling smile as he cracked his knuckles.
