7 Chapter 7: graduation

The graduation exam is here. We were lead into an arena, each class passes the exam separately except classes from A to F as they had already passed the exam.

The instructor started speaking " now class as the benevolent mizukage allows you worthless orphans a chance at redemption, he still wont tolerate weak shinobi and as such each orphan class will only have three graduates , as weak shinobi will only die meaninglessly on the field you might as well die now. Yes you all will be in a battle royal till only 3 remain. Now, the moment I leave your test will begin".

He leaves And all the students start murmuring not believing the instructor and waiting for him to come back. However, I knowing what will happen snapped the neck of the person in front of me. It seems that I was not the only one, Haru Risa and one other student started attacking others

Being the first to kill I had the ire of most the students so the gang up on me. I don't wait for them though as I kick behind me with power strike and aerial jump killing the one behind me and launching my self forward towards a weapon rack I grab a katana while and stand my ground in front of said rack and start slicing up anyone that comes near me .

I see Risa killing other students before jumping back and using a jutsu.

I suddenly realized that while I went to the weapon rack, it was not the only one in the arena, yet no one is going there ' she cast false surroundings on the racks' I grab a ninjato and throw it at her while yelling " Risa!!" she side steps grabs the sword and decapitate the one sneaking up behind her. She looks at me then nods, I do the same.

And…nothing, no one is attacking us. I look around only to find a pile of dead bodies and a pile of live ones shaking. I run towards the pile of bodies and pull one of the bodies off and cur off the others head.

Haru who is beneath the bodies uses the opportunity to snap someone neck then smash the other head on the floor. I sense someone attempting to attack from behind, but before I move Haru strikes forward, I didn't block as I felt that he won't attack me from the look he gave me. His fist knocks out the other student who was the only one remain excluding me Haru and Risa. I nod at Haru coming to an understanding, then swing my blade beheading the last student, the instructor then came in asked our name then handed us our headband Informing us to come tomorrow to meet our jonin-sensei.

As I was going back home I started hearing a lot of murmurs about Zabuza who killed his entire class ' what about his team placement? We live in the same room, I can ask him then'.

I enter the room to see him sitting on the bed eating some snacks " Zabuza isn't that Mihagi's personal stash" he looks at me then replies " he won't be needing it no more".

'oh I remember' " I heard you killed your entire class what about team placement" he stands up then faces me " look, I know your strong that is why I am still talking to you. I believe your name is Tei Kurobi" "yes that is correct" " good. we're orphans, tools of war for the village. To survive in this world you need not only strength but connection as well. So let's be uhh…what do they call it…ah, yes friends" " I don't see why not" I close my eyes momentarily to use observe on him.

" that means he is strong, good" he replies. "Well I will be going to sleep, I still have to meet my teacher tomorrow, and probably so do you, so get some shut eye ".

I get to bed and sleep.

The next day , I wake up like every other day and go to the academy . I open the class door seeing no one, I pick a seat and as I was about to sit down Risa enters the room. She sits next to me and after two minutes of awkward silence she speaks " I will not thank you for your help back at the arena, I believe you had your own motives for your actions" " you're right, I didn't want useless teammates " I sense a familiar life force approaching and it is Haru. He swings the door open and looks in "thank god the teacher isn't hear yet" ' yeah, he was late' " I wouldn't celebrate so early" behind him was what I believe is our teacher. Tall and with a swimmers build, he pushes Haru in the room " I am your jonin instructor my names is Shizu Kuromizu, I will see you at training ground 4, 07:00am tomorrow. You don't have to introduce yourself as I already read your file".

I close my eyes and try to see his status page .

The teacher looks at me and then says " I don't care what you did as long as it is non hostile I will allow it" and then he leaves we go back home. And go to sleep ' wow, first time observe fails me like that kind of reminds me how weak I am'.
