6 Chapter 6: academy last year
I wake up and go to the bathroom, get out then have breakfast and leave the dorms .
I go to my last academy year, I enter the class and feel many gazes on me, some with admiration, others with jealousy, but only two with caution. 'interesting it's like only those two know what's up'.
The teacher comes in after a while, does a roll call then starts telling us what's new in our curriculum.
That was genjutsu, and substitution. The optional class were for senbon and for poison craft and medical ninjutsu. Fuinjutsu was done as they had thought us all they were willing to teach academy students.
The teacher then had a half menacing- half warm smile that caused me to be greatly disturbed. The teacher states ' well kids fortunately for you there wont be a written test in the end of term exams".
All but three students cheered, Happy that they don't have to do written exams. Though the three students, me, Risa and Haru weren't as happy. The teacher started teaching us about the 2nd war , managing to stuff some praise for the mizukage after that was geography where we learn the strategic positions of each village and how ours is the best as not only is it completely separated from the mainland it also is surrounded by mist barrier designed to lead unauthorized visitors astray.
Then we had lunch, some shurikenjutsu, genjutsu where we were thought to disable genjutsu.

Then we had taijutsu practice this time I was paired up with Risa ' it seems kiri academy is an advocate of true gender equality' .
We step up to the sparring ring and as customary we bow before taking our stances on opposite sides of the ring, awaiting the instructor signal 'begin!'.
I stay my ground, choosing to counter her as I did Haru. after sometime, if the instructor was getting impatient he didn't show it, how ever I reached my limit, and so I attack with straight punch towards her chest , and she side steps out of the trajectory of my punch, while attempting to grab my hand to do something I wouldn't know about as I didn't allow her by channeling my punches momentum to swipe at her and at the same time flowing my chakra to speed up the swipe while also using power strike.

Surprisingly she used the momentum to back flip striking me with her leg and avoiding a TKO.

Risa seeing me close my eyes, capitalized on the 'opportunity to take me down with a roundhouse kick. Unfortunately for her my eyes have a Byakugan-like vision and as such I am able to see through me eyelids other than that my life force sense do enough to inform me of her attempt and even without my eyes my space lord counts movement as a spatial fluctuation so I am more than just aware of her attack.
So I bend like neo and grab her outstretched leg, and using one of mine to swipe her remaining leg from under her and at the same time use my other leg to kick her in the face . Not expecting any of what had just happened Risa gets no time to react and falls face first to the ground, making me win by technical knock out.
We both stand up bow to each other then leave the ring I receive some notifications

The days go by and with repetitiveness. Though I trained a lot and was fortifying my mind

After finishing the fortification I received the following notifications.

' damn that's cool!' I channel my newfound enthusiasm into training. Days go by and the day for the graduation exam is here .
All students are gathered in an indoor training ground.
I check my status Along with that of every student to see if there's a hidden underdog , but except for me Risa and Haru , everyone else was cannon fodder.
