Kaito himself hadn't expected that the two books he'd casually picked up would be "Intimate Paradise".

Now it all made sense. He finally understood why the bookstore owner had given him such a strange look.

However, since the book had already been purchased, Kaito certainly couldn't return it. Whether Shisui would read it or not, he didn't know, but he was sure that he would take a peek.

After all, it was the book that future Kakashi could not put down. Kaito was naturally very curious about what content was written in it.

But before indulging in a good read, Kaito had many other things to do, such as reporting the mission and arranging for someone to melt and reforge Raiga's ninja sword, and so on.

However, none of these tasks needed to be done by Kaito himself, as Shisui volunteered to take care of them.

Even more, Shisui stated he would help contact and summon Uchihas who had once fought on the battlefield with them. He would also communicate with the elders behind him.

He wanted to see the attitudes of these elders. If possible, he hoped to win them over.

After all, even the dovish elders, who are currently less influential, still control considerable resources.

If Shisui could convince them, it would undoubtedly save Kaito and himself a great deal of effort.

However, such matters depended on future developments. For now, all Kaito could do was hope and look forward to a good outcome.

Temporarily setting aside his duties, Kaito simply took a seat on a bench by the roadside on the main street of Konoha and began reading the book he had just purchased.

"What... what kind of mess is written in here?"

Although there were parts Kaito was interested in, he couldn't help but feel that Jiraiya's writing wasn't up to par, particularly in terms of details which left him speechless.

As an avid reader who has delved into complete books such as "The Hobbit" and "Dream of the Red Chamber," and has even paid homage to esteemed authors like Tolkien and Cao Xueqin, Kaito couldn't help but find Jiraiya's current writing somewhat dreadful.

"Don't you realize how enjoyable it can be to explore the intricacies of describing persons? It's a missed opportunity!"

Finally, Kaito couldn't bear to continue reading. He closed the "Intimate Paradise" in his hand, all the while murmuring under his breath.

However, it was at this moment that he noticed that the people around him were giving him somewhat strange looks.

Especially after these people saw the book in Kaito's hands, they couldn't help but start whispering amongst themselves.

This left Kaito somewhat helpless. Was a book of this caliber really worth such a fuss?

"However, if one can earn a decent income from writing this kind of book, perhaps I should give it a try too. I could even churn out **, not to mention novels!"

It was unclear whether it was the result of obtaining the Mangekyou Sharingan, or resolving Shisui's situation, but Kaito's mood was genuinely high.

Keeping oneself tense all the time was never a good thing. Proper rest and relaxation would give them more energy to do what needed to be done.

Excluding Shisui's issues, during this operation Kaito obtained the Mangekyou Sharingan and a sword technique imbued with wind release.

Without being modest, he had made a killing. But no matter how much he gained, he had to put in the effort to adapt and become proficient.

He probably wouldn't dare to mess around with the Mangekyou Sharingan, the incident where Sasuke blinded himself within a month was still fresh in his mind.

But how exactly the feedback worked, Kaito didn't know. He just remembered that Uchiha Madara once mentioned 'straight line Sharingan', then commented that it was no wonder he was so agile.

This left Kaito somewhat baffled, he didn't understand what 'straight line' really meant. Did it refer to having straight lines or something?

Yet, in his memory, Uchiha Madara's original Sharingan seemed to be three tomoe connected together, showing no indication of what was 'straight' about it.

On the contrary, after he obtained his younger brother's eyes, evolving into the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, there indeed were three straight pillars.

As for Sasuke's eyes, Kaito was also perplexed. They clearly resembled a curved hexagram, yet after fusing Itachi's eyes, it straightened Itachi's pattern.

So, what did this 'straight line' really mean, and how should it be interpreted? Kaito truly couldn't figure it out.

Thus, Kaito was more inclined to feel the changes originating from within himself. After activating the Mangekyou Sharingan, the biggest enhancement he experienced was in his chakra.

Seeing her face, Kaito instantly recognized who she was. This young girl was a former teammate, and her name had left a significant impression on him.

She was a member of the Nara clan, and her name was Nara Yaneko...
