The End of the Warring States Period

The Chinoike clan was a reputable clan that was known for their dojutsu, one that even rivalled those of the Uchiha. They were basically the Uchiha's of the Land of Lightning

The Uchiha's, who were known as savages at the time; were pressuring the Chinoike clan to leave their homeland. This resulted in many skirmishes to erupt in the Land of Lightning.

The reason behind their actions is because this was a task given to them by the daimyō's servants and wife. The story goes that a woman of the Chinoike clan married the Land of Lightning's daimyō. The daimyō's first wife became jealous of her, and when the daimyō died soon after their marriage the first wife blamed the woman and her clan for the daimyō's death.

The Uchiha, succeeded in exiling the Chinoike clan; once again proving their power. As for the Chinoike clan's fate, they were exiled in The Valley of Hell, located in the Land of Hot Water.

But the Land of Lightning forgot one factor, a love that sprouted between a Chinoike and an Uchiha. A forbidden love that resulted from the conflict between the two clans. A love that is a secret that is only known between two people.

Land of Lightning,

Inside a small shack located in a tiny village

"This is our baby..." A woman with light-blonde hair said as she looked at her baby affectionately.

There was a woman next to her, presumably the one who helped during the process of childbirth.

Standing behind the woman, was a tall man with black hair. The couple both looked attractive. The man then said "Chiyome, Let me hold him"

Chiyome gently let the man carry the baby.

"Musashi, this is truly a happy day for us isn't it." Chiyome said with a gentle smile on her face.

The couple was then reminded between the conflict between the two clans.

"I can't help but remember my mother, who defected from the clan even before we were exiled."

The reason why Chiyome not in the Valley of Hell because when her mother birthed her, it was already at the time when Konoha was founded.

The couple then reminisced their first encounter. It was during a mission when Musashi was at his teens. He met the bubbly girl and at first he was cold to her, something that was very inherent in every male Uchiha.

"Can you stop annoying me?" Musashi said

"Who's annoying you?" Chiyome said while laughing her heart out.

Time passed and they became friends while Musashi would often sneak out of the during his missions. Though, the time they spent together was quite short because Musashi was originally from Konohagakure.

Until one day, Chiyome told the truth about her background, to which Musashi accepted. After that, they finally became true to their feelings and became together.

Right now, Musashi was here because he made the decision to leave his clan and the village just for the sake of his family. Though, there is no time for peace since the 1st Shinobi World War had erupted.

"Enough of that, so what will be our child's name?" Chiyome inquired

Musashi pondered for a while, before making a choice saying

"Sandayu, Sandayu will be his name"

As he said that, they heard suddenly get kicked open.

*THUD*

Musashi quickly identified the strangers who went in as Kumo shinobi's. There were 7 of them who entered the very small shack.

"Take Sandayu out of here, Now!" Musashi said with a sense of urgency in his voice.

Chiyome hurriedly carried Sandayu and tried to run out through the back door but she felt a piercing pain in her shoulder and her left leg as she tripped on her knees, still holding the baby safely with all her might.

She was impaled by a kunai that

"Chiyome!" Musashi exclaimed as he began to engage the shinobi's.

"Nanami, please take care of my baby." Chiyome knew that she no longer had the power to carry on as she passed the baby to Nanami, the woman who helped with her childbirth.

Nanami began running quickly with all of her might. Chiyome looked on as she eventually left her sight.

Musashi's eyes were now colored red with three tomoes inside it. The Kumo shinobi noticed this and said

"Oh, if it isn't the infamous sharingan of the Uchiha Clan."

Musashi didn't reply to their comment as he flickered towards them, he only had a basic hunting knife as a weapon. He then stabbed one of the Kumo shinobi who was caught off-guard right in the neck.

He immediately retreated as he protected the fallen Chiyome.

He then continued fight. But as the fight progressed, he began to keep on receiving wounds and injuries.

"I'll protect you even until my last breath" Musashi declared as he took a glance towards Chiyome. His body was riddled with cuts and blood at this point.

There was only one last Kumo shinobi remaining, but when the Kumo shinobi saw the opportunity come by as Musashi was weakened, he rushed towards him with his katana at hand, aiming right for Musashi's throat.

Musashi's last thoughts were

'Sandayu... please be strong.'

Chiyome who saw what was about to happen then thought to herself

'My child, we're sorry..."

This truly was a last stand for the couple...
