5 Hiruzen(Rewrite)

(3rd PoV)

Shiori sighed as her and Naruto's stomachs grumbled.

'That damned Danzo! I will make Naruto drop 10 RasenShuriken on you!'

"Don't worry Shiori-chan! I know how to get fish! Dattebayo!"

'So my boyfriend already had to hunt?'

Shiori took Naruto's hand, and pointed towards the tallest building.

"We are going to Hokage. I have to collect my reward."

"Huh? Okay."

So Shiori started leading him towards the Hokage tower while holding hand. And she could clearly hear whispers.

'Shouldn't we save that girl?'

'She must not know that he is a demon! We have to save her!'

Naruto took away his hand after hearing the whispers, looking very hurt. Shiori stared right into his eyes, and took back his hand.

She then glared at the villagers, with an intensity a 3 year old could use. Then she shouted.

"Hey! That man is a spy! I saw him kidnapping children at the orphanage!"

"That woman is a murderer! I saw her killing an Uchiha! Police! Police!"

Now, everyone started looking at the two people in suspicion and fear, while Shiori acted scared.

"Hey brat! What nonsense are you-"

"Kyaa~! Naruto! I am scared! We must go to the Hokage to get protection!"

And both ran away, while Naruto genuinely got scared. Shiori just now remebered an Ayanokoji move.

To fight rumours, you have to create more rumours. She didn't care about what others said, but she didn't want her boyfriend to suffer like in the original story.

They reached the Hokage tower, and the receptionist blocked them.

"Kids aren't allowed here."

The receptionist told them, while looking at Naruto in disgust.

'Wow, atleast hide your displeasure towards Naruto.'

"We must see the Hokage! There was a spy and murderer!"

Naruto shouted frantically, and the receptionist took them directly to the Hokage's office while panicking.

''Spy' and 'murderer' don't go well with 'Jinchuriki', does it?'

Shiori laughed in her mind.

"Hokage-sama! These kids reported spy-"

"Oh uggo, that was a joke."

Shiori told the receptionist, while looking at her as some sort of trash.

"Joke!?"

Shiori ignored the her, and looked around the office noticing that no one was there, just big piles of documents on the table.

"Hokage-sama is not here?"

"I am here."

The voice came from behind the documents.

An old looking man who looked like he could be sent to Jesus at any moment, placed the documents away to see the children.

He recognised Naruto, afterall, he had eaten his fish once. But he didn't know the girl. Was she Naruto's friend?

"Hey Old Man! You are the Hokage!?"

Hiruzen chuckled by the antics of Naruto, who was pointing at him in disbelief.

"Looks like I forgot to tell you."

Hiruzen said with a gentle smile. Ah. Konohamaru has just been born. Will he become like Naruto?

"Old man, you need to get your head checked up. You are quite forgetful, aren't you?"

Hiruzen, receptionist, and even Naruto were shocked! Shiori really said that to the Hokage!?

"My child, what's your name?"

"Shiori, the future richest person in the world. I will be an important client for Konoha, so I suggest you to be nice to me."

'What an interesting kid. Even Jiraya didn't disrespect me so much when he was a kid.' Hiruzen hummed in amusement.

"You want to become a merchant? Not a ninja like everyone?"

"I can't use chakra. Anyway! Don't change the subject! I was told that you will give me a reward! But what reward I got!? Kicked out of the orphanage! I want my reward, as well as compensation!"

"Reward? Sorry Shiori-chan, but I don't think I have heard about it. Can you please tell me about it?"

"I helped the police in catching the matron who was selling kids! Uchiha guy told me that I will be given a reward! But I was kicked out just now!"

Hiruzen immediately knew what happened.

Danzo happened.

He looked at Naruto, and his hand which was held by Shiori.

'So that's why she was kicked out.'

Hiruzen have heard that some rumours about Naruto have been spreading for a while. Hiruzen could only sigh. 'I will have to talk with Danzo.'

Well, it appears that Naruto found a friend atleast. He will just give them apartments bordering each other. Now that he thought about it, the apartment that Minato used when he was a genin till he became a Jonin has nobody living in it for a while.

"Shiori-chan, thank you for your help! As a reward and compensation, I will give you an apartment and pocket money every month. How about it?"

"How much?"

"5000 Ryo every month."

"...What is the price of 1 litre milk?"

"50 Ryo. Why?"

Shiori did some calculations in her mind. While her home country in previous life had the largest milk production, it also had the largest consumption. Since there must be plenty of grass in Fire Country, the price of milk in comparison to other food products shouldn't be that different.

So 100 packets of milk every month? That's too low.

"10,000 Ryo every month, a shop in a place I will tell you later, some books on business, you know, like the rules and ideas and all? Then coming to my store and buying everything if I can't sell my stocks. You know what? Give me a printer as well. And unlimited supply of drawing pencils and paints. I will be satisfied with it as my reward for saving countless people."

"So you are going to open your shop? Will you sell drawings?"

"Yes. I am good at drawing, and I am intelligent and cute. I will make good money."

'I was an otaku in my last life. You know what I mean, right?'

Hiruzen eyed this proud and boastful girl in front of him. Wait? Didn't she say that she can't use chakra? How did she know that? Isn't it checked in the Academy when children are 5-6?

"How did you know that you can't use chakra?"

"Bad man wanted to adopt me, he touched my belly and it hurt. Then he said that I can't use chakra."

'Can't use chakra? Even guy can use chakra, albeit not enough for even Transformation Jutsu. He has to open some gates to summon his turtle.

Is her situation worse than him?'

"Come here. Let me check."

As he checked her, she winced in pain. But the chakra didn't enter her system like it usually does. Her tenkutsu were damaged.

'It looks like she is very chakra sensitive. She would have been fine if checked once she was 5-6. But her chakra pathways are destroyed.'

"Shiori-chan, who was the bad man?"

Hiruzen asked. Even while adopting kids, one doesn't check the chakra of 3 year old kid. It is against the rules that he set up according to Tsunade's suggestion after Third Shinobi War. It has drastically reduced children developing chakra disease. 5-6 years of age is the perfect age for interacting with a kid's chakra.

"Don't know. Matron said that he just woke up from coma and lost his daughter in Kyuubi attack. He had scar and... he had broken hand? leg? I don't remember what was broken.

Anyway! Will you give me my reward!?"

"Wait a minute."

He looked through the recent document, all while thinking that Danzo must have wanted to recruit her into ROOT. Danzo is getting more and more bolder by the day.

'Sigh. What should I do about you, Danzo?'

Sighing, he looked into the stash of police reports. There, he saw the case of Naruto's orphanage.

'Hmmm... I haven't checked this document yet.'

Reading through the report and investigation, he decided that orphanage isn't really a good place for Naruto. And Danzo might just get rid of her out of pettiness if she lived there.

And seeing how she is holding Naruto's hand...

"Alright. But I can't give you a printer. It's expensive. If you want, I can introduce you to a publishing-"

"Then give it as the compensation. Don't tell me you don't have the money to buy a printer? Are we poor? Are we going to war that you are saving money? I must tell everyone in the village!"

'This brat!'

"There is no war coming, Shiori-chan. Alright. I will give you a printer. Naruto, I will give you an apartment and pocket money too. You two, come with me."

"Yay! I will get my own house!? Shiori-chan, you are the best!"

'I am the one who is giving you the apartment though...'

Hiruzen complained as he was thanking her instead of Hiruzen. Yes the apartment he was going to give Naruto was Minato's property. But he should be atleast thanked.

"Didn't I tell you? I am very smart. I am going to make tons of money and buy the village!"

"Haha, Shiori-chan, you can't buy the village. Anyway, let's go."

Hiruzen chuckled at her thought process. Will she be a good or bad influence on Naruto? Well, atleast he will have a friend now.
