13 Written Exam Time + Forest of Death
After the discussion with Kabuto, it was time to do the written exam. After sitting in the hall, Ibiki Morino started explaining the rules of the exam. It was implicitly understood that cheating was allowed, however, if you were caught, you would fail. In addition to Morino, there were Chunin proctors lining the sides of the room, looking extremely vigilant.
Nobita knew the trick of the test, as all he had to do was persist to the end. Maybe he would write a couple of answers half-heartedly, but passing was a guarantee.
Once the exam started, paper and pens were flying at a rapid pace, as each person attempted to answer the questions. Naruto was flailing from the beginning, while other like Sasuke were using jutsu to cheat. Along the course of the exam, some people got caught red-handed and disqualified from the exams.
Nobita was relaxed as he knew pretty much all the answers, since lot of the stuff was based on theory and some basic math, relative to his world. All he had to do, was write a couple of lines and chill, unlike others who were wastefully using their chakra to cheat. The situation was funny really, killing machines using their precious chakra to just peek at someone's answer sheet.
After some time, 45 minutes or so, Ibiki announced the tenth and final question. He used an ominous tone and threatened to fail people and entire teams if one member got the answer wrong. Streams of genin exited the exam room with disappointment on their faces. Naruto had his little speech about becoming the Hokage, which was amusing, but highly inspirational even for Ibiki (look at Naruto man, so inspirational).
Once the seeding out phase had finished, Ibiki announced that the genin remaining had passed his portion of the exam. There was clear joy and jubilation among the genin that had passed, as people started smiling and cheering.
Suddenly, Anko, the snake woman, crashed through the window, making an appearance, as she would be the next chief proctor of the exam.

It was now time for the second phase of the exam in the forest of death. Nobita tagged along with the Konoha genin for the time being, and would make chatter frequently, in order to better his relationships. By this point, Sakura had become friendly, and Ino had become good friends. Even Sasuke would occasionally respond to him, breaking the ice. It was without saying that Naruto and Nobita had clicked, as Nobita would further fuel Naruto's Hokage dream, plus he really liked the kid.
Naruto: "You think so too?! You think I can become Hokage?!"
Nobita: "Absolutely. No dream is too big, as shinobi we must strive to achieve what we want."
Naruto had a light blush and rubbed his nose.
Naruto: "Hehe. You do catch my drift. Of course, I will become the Hokage. HAHAHAA!"
As always, Sakura then punched his head, and started screaming at him.
Anko Mitarashi, or the snake woman, then started explaining the rules of the exam to the genin. It was going to be a test where teams had to get the opposing scroll and reach the tower at the center of the forest within a certain time limit.
Since Nobita was all alone and did not have teammates, many teams started viewing him as easy prey, as his scroll would be the easiest to take. Boy, would some of them come to learn the hard way.
After each team received their scrolls, they started strategizing before the start of the exam. However, Hinata and Ino came up to him.
Hinata: "Do you think you'll be alright, I noticed some teams were eyeing you like prey."
Ino: "Hah, Hinata. So you do talk. But yes, I do agree with her analysis, you need to be careful, I believe many teams will be after you."
Nobita confidently smiled and responded, "Don't worry. If they think that I'm easy prey, they have 10 years of bad luck coming. Anyway, don't worry about little old me, you guys should go and plan with your teammates, I'll be fine."
Ino nodded, "Alright, be careful then."
Hinata shyly gave Nobita something wrapped up. Nobita opened the wrapping and saw that it was medicine. She then shyly scurried away.
Nobita thought to himself, "Look at what I've done. I've even taken Naruto's present, I'm such an asshole. Either way, this means spending all that time with Hinata and the rest of her team training has not gone to waste."

It was now the start of the exam, and Nobita had hurriedly vanished from sight. Most teams were left their head scratching as they wondered how he had escaped so fast. Nonetheless, they started searching for what they believed easy pickings.
Little did they know, Nobita had merely used his invisibility cloak jutsu, which at this point used negligible amounts of jutsu, since his chakra recovery rate was much higher. All those medicinal chakra baths and massages had really paid off.
Nobita then waited, as that was all that was required at this point.
At the same time, Team 7 were undergoing their hard battle with Orochimaru disguised as Shiore. Naruto was swallowed by a snake, and then reappeared to save Sasuke, only to be rendered unconscious. Sakura then saves Naruto, and Sasuke engaged in combat once more with the snake man.
After a bunch of moves, Sasuke was able to melt his attacker's face, only to be greeted with the ugly snake Orochimaru.
After revealing his info about Itachi, Orochimaru then rushed in to bite Sasuke, to deliver the cursed seal. However, just before his fangs could sink in, an unknown figure dressed in black swatted Orochi's neck away. It was obviously our hero Nobita, who was currently dressed incognito.
Nobita: "Run away kids, this guy is not someone you can handle. Sasuke you need to run as far away as possible. Notify the Anbu or Anko Mitarashi."
Sasuke and Sakura, then held Naruto and ran away as speedily as they could. Orochimaru launched another attack at Sasuke, but Nobita defended, shielding him from the dangerously quick Orochi.
Orochi: "Move out of the way!! I need that boy, he is my vessel!"
Orochi then haphazardly released a bunch of powerful jutsu in order to eliminate Nobita as quickly as possible. Deadly amounts of yin and yang were launched towards Nobita, which he skillfully dodged and since Orochimaru had released so much chakra in one go, Nobita could see a massive opening.
Nobita used his new katana to perform his kenjutsu, striking Orochimaru in 32 different locations. Nobita's kenjutsu stats were now on a different level now after his month long training (to be revealed at the end of the chapter).
Hurriedly, Orochi drew his Kusanagi sword to defend, and was able to fend off non-critical attacks. However, he was still bleeding from many orifices, and had taken a bunch of damage.
However, Nobita was not a fool, and knew the snake still had many aces up his sleeve.
The snake started releasing his Senjutsu and the real fight started. It was an extremely physical and chakra intensive battle. Orochi's battle experience was much higher, and he was able to gain the upper hand and deliver damage to Nobita, who stood tall, but was not the aggressor in the battle.
After a good 10 minutes of Orochi using some of his most deadly jutsu, including some crazy Hashirama style wood release, Nobita was not fazed and even looked relaxed.
Orochi thought, "Shit. Sasuke has escaped and this fool is blocking my path. Furthermore, I can sense the Anbu making their way over her. This plan is screwed because of him! I should get out of here, there's nothing more I can do"
Orochi released one last attack, and it was a fire release jutsu. Nobita responded with his own fire release which dwarfed Orochimaru's, which damaged and probably burned the escaping snake boi.
Since the Anbu were close, Nobita also dipped. He had used less than 50% of his power and was able to defend successfully against one of the legendary Sannin. These were Nobita's current stats post his month lost isolation training:
