5 Dangerous Mission
Yui used her kunai and taijutsu against the rogue shinobi, while I shot a powerful fireball at the shinobi's head, full force attack from the start.
Although the rogue shinobi had his back turned to us, he smiled and countered Yui, while dodging my fireball.
Rogue shinobi: "So its you bastards. I knew I felt something creep up on us. I was waiting for you to attack. However, you all fucked with the wrong shinobi, I'm a jonin. You puny shinobi can't even hurt me with your pathetic chakra, hahaha!"
Yui was aghast. A jonin was strong, much too strong for her level. At this moment, she felt fear and was terrified, as the sneak attack failed.
Yui in fear pressed on and continued using her taijutsu and her earth jutsu. Nobita backed her up by continuously shooting fireballs, hoping one would hit its mark. Yui fought close-range while Nobita fought from long-range.
The rogue shinobi countered every move and dodged all but one fireball, which hit him pretty good in the sternum. Yui was also able to get in a few good hits. During this period, Nobita made some further preparations.
The rogue ninja was able to recover and then used his electricity jutsu on Yui.
Rogue ninja: "Die bitch! This voltage will destroy your internal organs!"
Yui was able to dodge much of the electric bolt, but got hit in her chest, and she started bleeding profusely.
Nobita then swooped in and put her on the side before the rogue ninja could do any more damage.
Nobita thought: "Shit this dude is a lot more powerful than I expected. He's a freaking jonin, I have to be really careful, one hit and its over."
Yui had passed out due to the immense pain she was in.
Rogue ninja: "Hah! How do you like that? You sneak attack me? This is what you get Konoha scum!"
Nobita: "Picture this, you're about to get annihilated by a Konoha scum, a Genin at that too. Haha! Looks like Kirigakure is not much nowadays, a fucking Genin can kill a Jonin lol."
Rogue: "The fuck you say to me you little shit? Listen well my name is Raichi, an elite Jonin from the greatest village in the world!"
Raichi then released a great amount of chakra into his next attack, a massive lightning release.
Since lightning is really fast, Nobita immediately used his best evasion jutsus to deal with the attack. He used a body replacement, followed with an invisibility cloak, which would make him invisible for a short stint.
Raichi's attack missed and then saw Nobita reappear a 200m away from him.
Nobita: "You're in deep shit now Raichi-boy. Your body has 100 explosive tags on them. You know I'm kind of dissapointed, you're going to die and I didn't even get any damage."
While Nobita was invisible he quickly applied 100 explosive tags on Raichi's body and then ran away as far as he could.
Raichi: "NO!!! FUCK YOU!!!"
Nobita smirked and performed a bunch of hand seals.
Nobita: "Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags!"
Raichi ran towards the Genin in anger, but exploded in great fashion. There was a huge explosion, after all Nobita had employed an A-rank jutsu. "Having knowledge of the future and certain OP jutsu makes my life much easier."
A cloud of smoke hung over as Nobita had zero visibility, but he was pretty confident that Raichi had exploded.
Just as the smoke cleared, Raichi came in swinging with his sword, trying to decapitate Nobita. Although in shock that Raichi did not die, Nobita's buff [Calm when facing death] activated just as Raichi's sword was about to puncture his neck.
Nobita calmly dodged the sword and struck Raichi with his Pressure Palm, one of the moves of the Arhat fist technique. Raichi's body was completely burned, and he was bleeding from all over. It appeared like he had a 1000 orifices in his body. Furthermore, there was electricity emanating from him, despite him looking worn out and extremely weak compared to his previous self.
Nobita thought, "The fuck?! Why is he alive? He took an A-rank jutsu and survived? Ah, now I understand why."
Raichi: "My lightning armour is all-powerful bitch, you're going to die now." As he said that he spat out a mouthful of blood.
"He's extremely weak compared to before, but he still probably has a bit of chakra left. I can take him though, its a godsend opportunity to refine my taijutsu."
Nobita sprang forward and used his Arhat fist. Although most of the lightning armour was destroyed, he had to be careful not to get shocked, and thus employed a hit and run strategy, very rarely going toe-to-to with the rogue shinobi.
Nobita was starting to get the better of the Jonin, as the latter became increasingly weak as time went on. By this time, Asahi had dealt with the rest of the bandits and took Yui to a safe place.
Nobita ended the fight with a critical attack to Raichi's neck, plunging his fire release sword which completely emptied his chakra reserves.
Nobita was worn out but finally slayed the dangerous and crazy Jonin. It was a tough fight and Nobita did not come out unscathed, he had his fair share of wounds and injuries, but he had dealt with a life and death situation, and killed an elite Jonin pretty much by himself, which was a huge accomplishment for a Genin.
Asahi: "Is he dead?"
Nobita: "Yea, how's Yui doing?"
Asahi: "Better, she just woke up. Lets quickly collect these bandits' heads and return."
Nobita nodded. Asahi had single-handedly killed all the other bandits, and although these bandits were not fighting experts, Asahi had proven himself to be a good level-headed shinobi.
"I guess he's not all brawn, but has a brain to him as well." though Nobita.
Nobita then searched Raichi's dead body, and found two manuals, one with Swordsmanship or Kenjutsu and another one about lightning armour technique. Now although his chakra affinity was not lightning, he could use the same concepts to create a fire release armour, an A-ranked jutsu!
This was a great haul, plus killing an elite Jonin would bring many rewards.
The trio headed back to the village soon after making sure that Yui was in a good condition. They connected on the trip back, and became friends.
They went straight to the Hokage's residence and reported on their mission. Yui explained everything that had happened and how Nobita had killed the elite Jonin.
Sarutobi: "What?! There was an elite Jonin present at that camp. I wonder what he was doing over there. I would like to scold you guys for continuing on and not abandoning the mission, but it was good presence of mind to nip this problem in the bud. Now while saying that, this will not be tolerated again, do you hear children?!"
The trio complied.
Sarutobi: "Now this will be upgraded to an A-rank mission and the rewards will be given out accordingly. Yui will be rewarded with 700,000 ryo for leading the mission. Asahi will get 100,000 for each bandit kill, so 800,000 ryo for Asahi. Finally, Nobita will get the bounty reward listed in the bingo book for this elite jonin, you will receive 28 million ryo and also the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Chunin exams with a team of your choosing."
Nobita was shocked, 28 million ryo was life-changing amounts of money, it was around 2 million USD. He could secure a great future for his younger brother and himself.
The trio then thanked the Hokage and as they were about to leave, Sarutobi: "Oh right, you two can leave, please stay for a moment young Nobita."
After Yui and Asahi left, the Hokage said: "Young man, it was clever of you to use that mutually multiplying explosive tags jutsu, however, you do know that is extremely dangerous. Nevertheless, the reason I wanted you to stay was because I wanted to ask if you were interested in joining the Anbu after becoming a Chunin."
Nobita was shocked once again, and thought: "Fuck! I don't want to be a part of the secret ops controlled by this corrupt-ass government. My independence and training time would be cut extremely short. Plus there's the danger of Danzo."
Nobita replied calmly: "Hokage-sama please forgive me as I have a younger brother who I need to take care of, I would be unable to be a part of this extremely important organization and take of my brother. Frankly, I am unqualified."
Sarutobi: "Well,...I understand. If you do have a change of heart, don't hesitate to come back to my office. Now good day young Nobita."
Nobita then quickly walked out of the compound before he could get in any trouble or worse, encounter Danzo.
On the way out, Nobita thought: "Oh right lets see my stats."
