24 Chapter 24: Teasing snakes

"Oden-Kun?" Hiruzen asked in confusion, not understanding how this little genius had arrived here.

The barrier was double fold, one from the inside and one from the outside making it impossible to break in or out unless the four sealers released their jutsu.

Orochimaru also looked at his four underlings to make sure that they were still in position.

"So you're the old man's disciple that went crazy... you're uglier than expected..." Oden said not caring about their confusion.

"Hehehe You brat... I don't know how you arrived inside my barrier... but now that you're here... you won't be able to leav..." Orochimaru said, but before he could finish he was cut off by Oden.

"And you must be the first Hokage-sama and second Hokage-sama," Oden spoke with a hint of respect.

"Hmm... seeing your eyes you must be part of the Zaraki Clan, the main lineage." The second Hokage said.

"Yes, I'm the great-grandson of Yujiro Zaraki and the current head of the clan," Oden explained as he looked around.

The roof was filled with chakra-infused trees, signs of burned tiles, mud, and water. Oden could make out that they had fought seriously but still not all out.

Both Orochimaru and Hiruzen used deadly but not great jutsus as if there was an unspoken rule...If they had gone all out the whole village would have been destroyed and at that point, even Ochimaru would have lost more than he gained.

So they kept the fight in the borders of the barrier that had been set up.

"Yujiro Zaraki..." The first Hokage said with a shiver.

"Enough of chit-chatting," Orochimaru said as he got ready to kill the young kid that and arrived.

He was aware of the strongest clan in Konoha, but right now the head was only a 15-year-old kid. So Orochimaru severely underestimated Oden.

"Old man, leave Orochimaru to me, just make sure that you keep the other old men busy," Oden said as he used the sunshin jutsu, the body flicker technique to arrive beside Orochimaru to kick him.

Orochimaru was surprised by Oden's speed and barely succeeded to dodge to kick, but as he dodged, Oden's hand caught the arm of Orochimaru and dragged him towards himself.

Oden changed his kick to a knee as he dragged Orochimaru closer, using his momentum to knee Orochimaru in the stomach.

Orochimaru flew many meters before landing, he was bowing slightly as he held his stomach.

"Hmm, so this is the strength of the sannin... not very impressive," Oden said matter of factly.

"You..." Orochimaru couldn't find the words as he got really annoyed by Oden's words.

"You what? You scoundrel traitor even tried to kill your own teacher, you're a dog that tried to bite the hand of the... master feeding you?.. Erm how did the saying go?" Oden retired, but his words showed that he didn't really take Orochimaru seriously which made Orochimaru even angrier.

"YOU BRAT!."

"You this and you that, can you shut up for a second, you bit the hand of your teacher and tries to kill him, don't you know that a teacher for a day is a daddy for a lifetime? Your tried to kill your own daddy, you're just as bad as Itachi!" Oden said as he got tired of Orochimaru's unnecessary talking.

Orochimaru made a hand sign them and dragged a sword out of his mouth. He had a serious look on his face as if he had decided to skip talking and start killing.

"That's better, the less you talk, the more likable you are, maybe if you talked less you would have become the fourth Hokage," Oden said in an epiphany.

Orochimaru flew at Oden with his sword, and Oden barely dodged.

'He's faster than he looks' Oden thought as he dodged.

Oden tried to fight back but he had underestimated Orochimaru... and was being pushed back.

Orochimaru was so skilled with the sword that Oden was barely able to not get cut.

Suddenly Oden spit out a fire from his mouth and created some distance between them, then he raised his finger and created a Sasuhari that shot like a needle toward Orochimaru, but he seemed to have felt it and dodged.

"You're better than expected." Orochimaru stopped and admired his opponent. Maybe... he should start experimenting on the...

"And you're worse than expected, can't even kill a 15-year-old boy, tsk, the sannin title is for nothing I see," Oden answered, making Orochimaru pop a vein in anger.

As Orochimaru arrived to cut Oden, Oden raised his palm toward the ribs of his enemy, and used his technique, RasenYari, the spiralspear.

A spiraling spear out of chakra appeared suddenly towards Orochimaru, and he tried to dodge but it was too late as a big chunk of Orochimaru was blown away.

The third Hokage suddenly stopped when he heard something amiss and looked toward Oden in worry. He didn't want this gem, the future pillar of Konoha to die here. But what he says made him drop his jaw. Oden stood there looking fine, while Orochimaru had lost a huge chunk of his stomach.

Even though Oden looked fine, that was because his eyes gave him infinite physical energy, but in fact, he was really pushing his physical capabilities to not get diced up by Orochimaru's sword. And so far Orochimaru hasn't used any ninjutsu against him.

Orochimaru was the strongest enemy he had faced so far, and he felt that if they were outside Konoha, Oden would only have a 60-40 chance of winning.. with the odds in his favor if the fight got dragged on.

If they both went all out on ninjutsu then Orochimaru might win in arsenal but would lose in quantity and quality.

Suddenly Orochimaru opened his mouth widely and started spitting out another version of himself.

"Ew.... couldn't you find any other way of doing it..." Oden asked.

"What jutsu was that?" Orochimaru asked in genuine wonder.

"Rasenyari, I felt like the Rasengan looked weak so I created my own version... you're lucky I didn't use the elemental version," Oden said

All the kage, and even the snake sannin, were very impressed by the young genius.
