19 Chapter 19: RasenHari

Oden stepped forward and stood beside Hinata with one hand on her shoulder. He had done it just as Neji was about to activate his Byakugan.

Oden did the same with his Mugengan and then released a huge amount of chakra, and the one that took it the heaviest was the one that could see the most, Neji.

He fell back on his butt in fear as he saw the monstrous chakra that was being released from Oden.

"ODEN ENOUGH." A strong voice called out, the third Hokage finally said something.

Oden deactivated his Mugengan and looked down at the sitting Neji.

"Those who speak about a fate that is chaining them down, are the same people who have truly given up on surpassing themselves and what everyone thinks they're capable of." Oden said as he turned around.

This time his gaze went past all the jonin, almost in a challenging way.

"Let's continue with the preliminaries.." The third Hokage said.

But all the genins had already felt the aura of Oden and felt fear and respect towards him. Even Gaara felt slight trepidation, he had only felt this kind of aura from inside of himself.

All the genins felt nervous whenever Oden looked at them.

Watching the fights, Oden realized that he had underestimated a few genins, such as Garaa.

He's a real genius, at the age of 12 he's already a Jonin-level shinobi, his chakra control is also great.

Rock Lee as well, he had a good fight and defeated one of the Zaraki Clan Genins.

Although she had been there before to garden, it was only a few times and she got shy every time. This time he was planning on teaching her one of his originals and making sure she got used to his house.

Their wedding is going to take place in 1-2 months, the exact date is t decided yet, so he was planning on getting her used to his place.

As he left, Hinata started walking back as well, but two people caught up to her.

"How do you know that handsome senpai? A blonde said teasingly.

"No wonder you never had your eyes on Sasuke, Hinata you should have told us you had your own prey.. crush..." A pink-haired girl added.

"N-N-no it's not like that." Hinata got a slight fright and tried to explain herself.

"Who is he anyway, he stood with the other teachers even though he looks to be just slightly older than us?" The pink-haired girl asked, she was the former classmate of Hinata, and the current team member of Naruto and Sasuke, Sakura.

"I think he's older than he looks, He had a shinobi vest, the kind you only get when you become Chunnin." Ino, the blonde former classmate of Hinata said.

"He's a jonin, and only two years older than us." Hinata corrected.

"Ah, I see Jonin.. 15 years old... JONIN??! 15 YEARS OLD?!" Sakura shouted in surprise.

"Who is he, why were you talking to him?" Ino's female senses were tingling. Something told her there was some juicy news here.

"H-he's Oden Zaraki, the Zaraki clan head." Hinata said meekly, too nervous to admit that he was about to be her husband.

"Zaraki clan head? the one that single-handedly defeated the Silver and Gold brothers and avenged the second Hokage? It is said that he's the second strongest in our village, how is he so young?" Sakura was startled at the information she was given.

"But Hinata.... why did you two seem so... close?" Into asked, trying to find the truth of the matter, because only the truth can set her free.

"Erm... we're getting married after the chunin exams." Hinata finally whispered, but both the blonde and pink-haired girl heard it.

"MARRIED?!" They both proclaimed.

The girls continued to rip Hinata apart for the truth,

As for Oden, he went by a store to buy many plates, as they were needed for Hinata's training.

The day after, Hinata had arrived at Oden's home. Oden didn't waste time and took her to his garden.

Oden had created many jutsus, but thinking about it he only knew two jutsus of his that would suit Hinata, the first is his Rasenyari, which isn't possible because of the amount of chakra needed.

Although Hinata had above normal chakra levels because of her Hyuga bloodline, yet at this point the Rasenyari was still above her level, in the future she .oght have enough chakra but Oden only wanted to teach her one thing that will give her an edge.

Sasuhari! A technique he came up with while he was bored. This technique allows the user to cast a laser-like chakra needle from the tip of the finger.

It has great piercing powers and length.

Oden saw that she was waiting for him to explain why the garden was filled with plates.

Oden simply raised one finger towards the tree and... nothing happened.

"Go towards where I pointed and tell me what you see." Oden said, and Hinata did as she was told even though she was confused.

When she arrived in front of the tree she found a very small hole, barely visible. She activated her Byakugan and found that the hole passed right through the tree.

"Did you do this?" She asked in wonder.

"Yes, this is my own technique, even though I only rated it B rank, if used by right hands, it can be one of the most dangerous jutsus. And If you can learn to use it with elemental Jutsus, it will definitely go up to S-Rank." Oden explained without a care.

Hinata was deeply shocked, that he had created something this amazing by himself.

Even though she had heard rumors floating around about how strong he is, she wasn't aware of his genius.

"You create a piercing needle-like chakra that comes out of a single point from the fingertip. If there's too little chakra used, thenmeedlenwill dissipate. If there's too much, you'll blow your finger off. If the chakra output is too low, the needle will be very short, and the stronger the output the longer the needle will be. The chakra control needed for this jutsu is insane, but its piercing ability is equally insane." Oden said as he let that sink in.

"Together with your Byakugan, you can fight from a distance without them even knowing what's going on..." Oden explained.

Hinata herself realized the potential of this jutsu combined with her eyes. She didn't have to touch her enemies to paralyze them.

"How long can the Sasuhari become?" Hinata asked.

"I've only succeeded with 40 meters." Oden admitted.

"40?? That's unbelievable... where should I start?" Hinata asked eagerly.
