102 102. Unlucky Shiro

Tsunade instinctively jumped back in fright. The loud voice seemed to be non-human.

But Shiroken just sat there, "Oh come on, Kurosaki. I nearly had that fish."

"Eh... Apologies for that, Shiro. I will get you a hundred fish later. Ah... I see, you were on a date? Did I disturb you at the wrong time?" Kurosaki asked.

And as the cloud of smoke slowly dissipated, his giant dragon form became clear. Tsunade saw him, and this actually shocked and scared her more. Never in her life, she had seen a beast so big. Even tailed beasts were not this big, nor her summon.

"Oye, don't make the random woman I just met my girlfriend. And Tsunade, he's a friend of mine, no need to be scared. He's actually a very intelligent being, just like any powerful summon." He clarified and turned back to Kurosaki.

"So, what did you decide?" He asked.

"I have decided, after talking to my family. That being with you is the safest option if we want to enjoy living freely, instead of living in isolation in those mountains. So, we have decided to be sealed in you, with all the terms you said." Kurosaki elaborated.

Shiroken was more than happy, "Haha, that's very nice. You all can live in the Dama City. In fact, I will construct your dwelling just adjacent to Saiken's farm. This way you will have a lot of open space. Even Kuronosuke will have so many friends to play with."

"Yes, Kuronosuke. He's been very sad these days. He's a good boy and never even persisted or asked us to go back to the Dama City." Kurosaki explained.

"Of course, he's a good kid. Why don't you return and come back with your family to the Dama City in a week? I will be there by then." He recommended as he expected all his work to be completed by then.

"Good, I shall return and start packing. See you later, kid." *POOF* He disappeared just like he appeared.

Tsunade stayed silent from start to finish, watching them interact like they were forever pals. "Who... how did you even meet someone like that?"

He chuckled as he got back to fishing, "Hah, it's a funny story. I mistakenly summoned him once. He's a very kind old dragon. He even has a family, but sadly they are the only ones left. Hence, I have declared them an endangered species and to attack them is punishable by death. Though I will be protecting them in other ways."

"I... I don't know if I should applaud you or worry for people. But what you are doing is noble. What kind of being is he?" She inquired.

"Just like Sages of Mount Myoboku, he's also an elder summoning beast. He can actually use natural energy much better. He also told me that he's older than the 9 tailed beasts, since he remembers looking after them for a while," Shiroken made small talk with her until his fish was caught.

After that, he returned to the camp where Shizune was ready to cut the fish and cook it on a grill made of thin slate-like stone put on fire. The three sat together and merrily ate like they were on a camping trip or something.

"Where are you going, Lord Dama?" Shizune asked. Shiroken had made sure he seemed approachable to both of them.

"To meet the Fire Country Daimyo. I'm going to talk about a trade with him. Anyway, what about you two? Which village are you from!" He asked.

Shizune seemed surprised, "You... You don't know about Lady Tsunade?"

"I've heard the name, that's about it." He shrugged.

"Well, Lady Tsunade is one of the legendary Sennin of Konoha." Shizune proudly proclaimed.

As if a thunderbolt struck Shiroken. His face froze and kept on staring at Tsunade. She blushed, but Shiroken didn't faze.

His mind was dishevelled. ~Dammit, just when I find someone interesting some roadblock comes. She's a bloody Senju.~

But he didn't show it on his face. He silently ate his fish and got up. "Well, it was nice meeting you two ladies. And don't drink too much from now on, people are after your life. It's time I leave."

Tsunade and Shizune were wondering why he changed so much all of a sudden. Before he was so kind and sweet with them, but now he was just plain and uncaring.

Without even waiting for a reply, he bowed slightly and disappeared. ~*Sigh* Goodbye, woman, I guess you were one of the decent Senju.~

After the abrupt departure of Shiroken, Tsunade finally responded, "W-What just happened? Why did he become so distant all of a sudden?"

"I think it's because of you... Lady Tsunade. He left just after learning about your identity." Shizune guessed.

"Why? Does he hate Konoha? Or maybe my clan? Or am I not beautiful enough?" She wondered while squeezing her body.

She'd be lying if she said she was not attracted to him at all. Yes, she was, and it was a natural reaction. But, getting suddenly rejected was not very tasteful.

"What do we do now, lady Tsunade?" Shizune asked.

She sighed, "I don't know. Maybe go to the Dama City as planned."

*SSSH*

It was turning night, the light was low. They heard some movement in the bushes. Quickly becoming alert, they prepared.

*BAM*

"WHY?! WHY DO I HAVE TO HEAD INTO THE BUSHES FIRST? I got allergies last time too."

"Hehehe... go-go... check if there are any beautiful women bathing in the river."

"Argh... I HATE YOU, PERVY SAGE.!"

Tsunade's eyes twitched. She would recognise that old perversion filled voice from even a mile away.

...

Sighing, Shiroken moved fast towards the Daimyo castle village. ~I guess there is nobody made for me in this world.~

He was contemplating about what to do. Should he give the Senju woman a chance or not? He was attracted towards her, her personality, her past, and she was also a talented woman.

"But... but she's a Senju, granddaughter of who used to be the most hated human in my life... How can I... and the Dama villagers will never like her," he muttered to himself.

Soon, he let the thoughts go, like all the other women he had ignored in all his life. ~I'd probably never meet her again since she seems to be only interested in gambling and ruining her life.~

Leaving all that aside, Shiroken arrived at the Daimyo castle. Like always, the castle was surrounded by a small village, which itself was surrounded by a wall. From a distance, it would seem as if the whole village was one with the castle.

From what Shiroken knew, the Fire Daimyo had a fickle and indecisive nature and was easily swayed in his decisions through biases as well as external influences. When situations call for fast and important decisions, he makes his advisers do the whole work. The one who convinces him most is the "winner".

With this in mind, he knew he was not going to like this man. As he was probably one of the reasons why the country was such a warmonger and a pain in the back for the neighbours.

"I am the Supreme Daimyo Shiroken Dama. You must have gotten the news about my arrival." Shiroken walked to the main gates and casually told them.

The guards were shocked. As the Supreme Daimyo, they were expecting a big entourage of people with the Daimyo sitting in a carriage or something. But here he was, all alone and full of confidence.

They did not ask him for identity, since his looks confirmed it all. Long white hair, unusually pale skin, red eyes and a tall strong build.

"Please follow us, we were ordered beforehand about you." The guard led him directly inside the Daimyo palace for a meeting.

He was brought to a large hall, decorated to the brim with curtains, paintings and gold. At the end of it was a wall, on both sides of which guards stood. Shiroken was told to walk to it. And as soon as he arrived there, the light behind the wall switched on.

It turned out, it was not a real wall, instead of a bamboo wall that could be folded. The Fire Daimyo sat behind it as if some beautiful process. His figure was noticeable.

Shiroken's eyes twitched, "Do you have any idea whom you're addressing here? I am the ruler of Three nations, one is a Great Shinobi Country, the other one is the richest country in the world. Ah, just so you know, I am also the ruler of Sunagakure now, as I struck a deal with them. So, GET THIS CURTAIN OUT OF MY FACE!"

His voice was loud and authoritative. The Daimyo on the other side actually jolted in fright. Soon, an attendant came and lifted the curtain fully, bringing the two Daimyo face to face.

However, Shiroken scratched his head, "... All right, I changed my mind. Put the curtain back on."

[A/N: This is what I think about Tsunade: I think Tsunade is just a child at heart, she likes to enjoy herself, but she's also a very nurturing character. She likes to take care of people as best she can, and does what she can to help them. That's why she was right for the position of Hokage-- she's like the mother of the village, in a way when she took the office. Her caring nature is exactly like Shiroken, but the only difference between them is that while Tsunade sees the world divided into countries and stays loyal to hers, Shiroken just sees the world as a giant ball in space.]
