Chapter 53:- Special Chapter [XXI] - Last one
'Please, I just need another chance to see him...!!' Kurenai took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

Kurenai was expecting to see Kushina.
In the recent days, she had heard a rumor that Kushina's son hadn't died. Everyone believed that Kushina had lost her husband and son on that fateful day. But now, Kurenai heard that Kushina had found her son back. She even heard that Kushina's son was attending the Ninja Academy.
Kurenai wasn't practically close to Kushina. But as a woman, she had heard a lot of rumors about Kushina and her son. She won't say that she isn't curious about the rumors. Of course, she is very curious.
But she had never met her son. Or at least, this is what Kurenai had assumed up until she saw the person who opened the door.
It was as if time had slowed down. Kurenai widened her red eyes and saw the very same man who saved her that day.
"It's you....!!" Kurenai felt her heartbeat quickening.
The man had been in her mind for the whole week.
The man that she has been thinking about nonstop.
The man whose name she has been dying to know all this time.
There he was....standing in front of her very eyes in casual clothes.
"Hey...!!!" Naruto waved at Kurenai with a smile.
For a moment, Kurenai froze. Even though she had been thinking about him non-stop for the whole week, She did not know what to do or what to say to him. Strangely enough, she did not know what to say to him.
"Are you here to meet Mom?" Naruto asked.
Kurenai just nodded her head while staring at his face in a daze.
"Come inside.....!!!"
As she came inside, Kushina came out of the kitchen while wearing an apron to see who it was. "Naruto, who was it....?" She did not need Naruto to reply, and she soon got her answer after seeing Kurenai walking behind Naruto.
"Oh....it's Kurenai ! How have you been doing? Did your injuries have healed yet?" Kushina asked Kurenai with a smile.
Kurenai, Kakashi, Asuma, Guy, Obito, and Rin were all from the same generation. They all have been in the same class. They were Kushina's juniors. Kushina is always happy to see them.
"Ye....Yes.....!!! Thank you for bringing me back to the village that day." Kurenai bowed to Kushina. At the same time, Sarada looked at the living room to see who had come to visit.
"Nah, there is no need to thank me. Instead, get stronger. I don't want to attend any of your funerals." Kushina still wasn't over the death of Obito and Rin. She did not want to see anyone from that generation die.
"I will." Kurenai nodded with a smile.
Kurenai and other Jonin like her massively respected Kushina. Not because she was the wife of the 4th-Hokage, but because she was the strongest Kunoichi that Konoha currently had now that Tsunade was out of the village.
"You must be here to see my son, right?" Kushina could guess why Kurenai was here. She wasn't even wearing a jacket or sweater. Since she had come here like this, Kushina could guess that Kurenai had come here after being discharged from the hospital.
Meanwhile, Kurenai was surprised. However, she did think that Naruto might be Kushina's soon but seeing how strong he was, she soon dismissed that idea. Since times have changed now. Ninjas graduated at the age of 15. So there was no way that the son of Kushina could be that strong at such a young age. But now Kushina's words basically confirm that Naruto was Kushina's son.
'This explains why He is so handsome. It seems he has inherited his parent's genes.' Kurenai could remember that Minato was exceptionally handsome. He might have been the most handsome guy in the village at that time. He was really popular with the ladies. Even many girls from her class also had a crush on Minato.
Kushina's guess was on the spot. Hearing her words, Kurenai's face slightly turned red. Seeing this, Kushina covered her mouth and giggled.
'It seems she has fallen for my son.' Kushina thought in her mind.
"Anyway, you can chat with my son. I will be in the kitchen." Saying that, Kushina quickly ran to the kitchen. Despite being over 30, Kushina was full of energy. Ever since she started having sex with Naruto on a regular basis, Kushina felt as if her age was reversing. She was feeling very energetic and younger.
Once Kushina joined Sarada in the Kitchen, unable to control her curiosity, she ended up asking about Kurenai. "Who was she?" Sarada had never seen Kurenai.
Even though she and Kurenai lived in the same village, it was totally normal for them not to meet each other. After all, despite being called a village, the population of Konoha was well over one million. However, a majority of its population were just normal humans.
Sarada was the type who would always train. While Kurenai was extroverted, she loved drinking and hanging out with friends. So it was obvious that they wouldn't meet since their worlds were so different.
"It's Kurenai Yuhi. She is an illusion specialist, Jonin. In the future, if you have any doubts regarding Genjutsu, then you can approach her." Sarada nodded her head.
"That day, Naruto had saved Kurenai from the bandits. So she is here to say thank you to Naruto."
"What day?" Sarada asked, looking confused.
"When you all were in the Crimson Leaf village. I had to return back to the village early because I took Kurenai with me. Kurenai was in no condition to return to the village on her own." Sarada nodded her head in understanding.
'A situation that had forced a Jonin rank Shinobi like Kurenai to be severely injured yet Naruto was able to save her out of that situation. Just how strong is he?' Sarada wondered in her mind. At the very least, Sarada can understand that Naruto's strength was somewhere in the Special Jonin, or maybe he is even stronger than that.
'I have to train harder to catch up to him.' Sarada tightly clenched her fists and thought in her mind.
Kurenai just stood there awkwardly. Not knowing what to do next. She did not expect Kushina to expose her intentions.
"Sit down." Kurenai sat down on the couch.
"How are you feeling now? Have your wound healed properly?" Kurenai was stabbed in her right shoulder.
"I am 100% fine now." Kurenai then stood up and bowed her head to Naruto. "Thank you for saving me that day."
"I already received my thank you that day," Naruto replied with a cheeky grin.
Hearing his words, Kurenai's mind went back to that day when Naruto saw her completely naked. Her face instantly turned bloody red.
"Ahem...!!!! Now that I have said thank you to you, I will be taking my leave."
"Wait.....!!!" Naruto stopped her. When she turned around, Naruto handed her a black trench coat.
"Wear this!!! It's cold outside." Naruto did not want this woman to fall sick again.
"But...!!!!" Kurenai hesitated.
"If you don't want to fall sick again then you better wear it. You can return it back to me another time." Naruto said with a smile. After being with Kushina for these months, Naruto had become really good at talking to girls.
"Thank you." Not wanting to go back to the Konoha hospital again, Kurenai quickly accepted the trench coat and wore it.
'It smells like him. And for some reason, I don't hate this smell.' Kurenai thought while looking at Naruto.
"Goodbye!!! Once again, thank you." With that, Kurenai took her leave. Her mind was at ease now. Now that she knew where he lived and what was his name, her mind was at peace.

Scene change____
"This is for you.....!!!" Naruto was sitting on the couch and lazily watching TV when Sarada came from behind and handed him a green scroll.
"What is this?" Naruto got up and asked while looking at the green scroll.
"It's one of the Uchiha clan's Jutsu. Fireball Jutsu. Since I heard that you have a good affinity with Fire, you can have this." Sarada said while not looking at Naruto. She was slightly blushing as well. After all, this was her first time giving a gift to a man.
Naruto looked at the scroll for a few seconds. Seeing his dull reaction, she became worried and wondered if she had given him the wrong gift. However, a few seconds later, a big bright smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you, Sara-chan!!! I love this gift. I am going to learn this jutsu as soon as I can." Seeing his smile, Sarada looked away while blushing. Seeing her like this, Naruto felt his heart tingling. It made him have an urge to pat her head.
"By the way, I have something for you as well."
"What?" Even though her voice was stern, as always, there was a hint of anticipation in her voice.
"Wait here. I will be back in a minute." Naruto went to his bedroom and grabbed one of his scrolls.
After returning, he handed the scroll to her.
"What is inside?" She understood that this was a storage scroll.
"Summon the item within it. You will know." As she did, a black Katana appeared out of it.
"A Katana?" Sarada was surprised.
"It's not just any Katana. The metal is made from chakra-conducting metal. Even if you infuse your chakra in this metal, the blade will become sharper instead of breaking." Naruto knew that Sarada was into Kenjutsu. He heard it from his mother a few nights back.
While looking at the Katana, a small smile appeared on her face. "Thank you....!!" She said in a very low tone.
"What was that? I couldn't hear you.....!!!!" Naruto brought his face closer to her and asked with a teasing smirk.
"Hmph!!! Nothing. I am going back to the kitchen." She put the Katana back and took it back with her.

Scene change_____
"This whole year has been full of surprises. I really hope the next year will be as good as this year." Looking outside of the window, Tenten murmured. Since she was horrible in the kitchen, she wasn't allowed to help. Having no choice, she was in her room and was looking outside of the window.
Knock!!! Knock!!!
"Tenten, did you order something?" Her mother asked.
"No. Why what happened?"
Click!!!
Hearing the sound of the door opening, she opened back to find her mother with a rectangular box.
"Well, just a few minutes ago, this parcel was delivered in your name."
"You can open it. I am busy." Saying that her mother left Tenten alone.
"Who could have sent it?" After thinking for a while, she could not guess who might have sent it to her. It wasn't anyone from her genin squad. She was 1 billion percent sure about that.
As she opened the box, she saw a beautiful red flower hair stick. The parcel came along with a small card.
She picked up the card and read it.
『Hello, Tenten!!! Please accept this small gift on this special occasion. I look forward to the day when my order will be completed. Please take your time. There is no need to rush as I am not in a hurry. I hope you and your family stay well.
Naruto』
After reading this, a smile appeared on Tenten's face. She blushed slightly while picking the flower hair stick.

It would be safe to say that for many people in Konoha, this time, the Rinne Festival was more enjoyable than in previous years. It was all thanks to a certain Gusty Ninja who had come to live in Konoha.
That night, Naruto, Sarada, and Kushina sat together and enjoyed their dinner. After that, they watched TV together until midnight, when the fireworks show began. Every year, Konoha hosted a massive fireworks show. The fireworks show could be enjoyed from every corner of Konoha.
"And with that, the Night comes to an end!!!"

And with that, the Special Chapter arc comes to an end. I am sorry to those who might have felt bored with this arc. But for many reasons, this arc was quite very necessary. From the next chapters onwards, it will be after the time skip, which will be around the time of Graduation. From the next arcs onwards, there will be a lot of fight scenes.
I truly did not expect the special chapters to be this long. I thought at most by 10 chapters I would be done but things kept getting bigger and bigger.
This is the longest chapter that I have written for this novel.
