37 No title

A/N I will be using [Spiritual Sense] instead of [Soul sense] and [universal sense], and Chakra for every energy-related stuff. It will be confusing writing senjutsu or natural energy repeatedly so I will just generalize them as chakra until there is a need to be specific.

I teleported out of my realm and appeared near the village. It was already evening the next day when I arrived the villagers were already calm and getting back to work.

The children weren't involved in the stuff that happened, the adults were already preparing the village to the best of their ability, after all, they all possess chakra so there's nothing they can't do should they put their minds to it.

I first decided to meet up with Ashura and tell him about what Indra and I discussed, how he goes from there should have nothing to do with me.

Using my spiritual sense, I found him hard at work with the villagers. The guy sure is a lovable guy.

Arriving beside him, I enveloped him in my domain so as not to alert the villagers.

"Yo Ashura," I said, startling him and drawing his attention to me.

"Hey Shun, don't just pop out like that, it's scary, man. How do you even do that?" He said.

"Don't mind, don't mind. It's just a little trick. Anyway, I came to tell you that I had a talk with Indra. Come meet me outside the village let's talk" I told him seriously

"Sure. Let me finish up here" He said.

I removed my domain and vanished once more. Not that I don't want the villagers to see me at all but I don't want them to see me after all that happened yesterday.

You never know what they would say and I am not in the mood to hear whatever they may say.

I watched them rebuild the village for a while. At the end of the day, they managed to clean up the village properly and also erect new houses in place of the damaged ones.

I left the village and went to the area Indra and Ashura fought. Ashura already has the Yang half of the Hagoromo's chakra so he would sense should he try to.

I didn't wait long before I felt Ashura approaching me. When he came closer, I decided to speak first:

"So, I had a talk with Indra and he believes he is right in what he did. What do you think about it."

Ashura looked surprised at diest before turning sad again and looking down, he said:

"I don't know, but I believe that everyone in the village needs to live their life the way they want it. I did not want to be the successor if it was possible I would have rejected it, but my father choose me and the villagers need me, so I need to protect them. That's what I believe."

"Hmm. He will be back, you know? What will you do by then?"

"I will stop him no matter what, if he comes again, I will keep on stopping him. Just as you told me, a leader needs strength to protect his people, and now I have the strength needed to protect the villagers from Indra."

"Yeah, you are right. You are strong now, you can protect them and stop Indra should he comes looking for trouble."

I paused, thinking of the talk I had with Indra and remembering his conviction that what he was doing is right. I knew whatever Zetsu said to him had taken deep root in Jim and will not be changed till he dies. But Ashura doesn't know and doesn't need to know that.

"Well, I don't know what made him like that but I hope he gets back to his senses."

"I don't know either but I will make sure to bring him back to his senses, one way or another, after all, he is my brother, and the idea that I know is kind. Just you wait Shun, I will stop Indra"

Ashura said with unwavering determination. I guess this is the same determination that made him reincarnate his soul alongside Indra's for generations.

"Sure. I believe you" I said with a smile. Of course, I know he could. His kindness is the purest I have seen so far and I am sure even in the future, he would remain the same.

Maybe I would see a few more kind souls but there won't be any I pue and kind of like Ashura

We spent some time talking about irrelevant things. I also taught him some things concerning chakra, how to better manipulate it, and other things.

"How do you know all these things?" he asked in amazement and slight confusion.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out Ashura, anyway, I need to go speak with father now so I catch you later," I said before we walked back to the village and I then disappeared once again.

"Why does he always do that" Ashura mumbled. This time, I didn't teleport as I calmly walked through the village. When I heard his number, I couldn't help but chuckle.

It won't take me long to reach Hagoromo's location. When approached him, he was the one that spoke first:

"So, Shun, I wasn't free yesterday, so I didn't get to hear about your experiences during your travels. If you don't mind, can you tell me about them?"

"Yes, of course, old man"

So I roughly told him everything that happened during this one ear, I didn't have the fact that I used clones to travel around. I also told him about the God tree branches I have in my possession.

"Hmm? What do you plan on doing with those branches, Shun?" He interrupted.

"I do not know yet, I haven't found any important use for it yet. So I kept it in a safe location for now. It also wasn't near any human settlements, so there isn't a problem with it" I said.

"I hope you know what you are doing. You may be a genius superior even to Indra, but you must know there are things you do not mess with"

"Relax old man, if is ay it's safe then it's safe," I said. I then went on to tell him about my chakra gates and removed my transformation.

"Oh? This is surprising. You almost look like my mother. I would have thought you were one of them if I didn't know better. How did you do it again?" He asked.

"There wasn't much to hide so I told him all about the process. I didn't mention the dimension though.

I then found out that my chakra may be better than Hagoromo's in quality, but he has me beat in the sheer quantity of chakra. As Hagoromo has both his original senjutsu chakra, sage body, and then the Ten tails, his chakra was humongous. Whereas if I am to say I had four to five tails worth of chakra previously, currently, I have around two tails worth, and that's just the amount due to the quality of my chakra improving.

I didn't let it bother me though, my chakra will increase steadily over the years even if I don't do anything and just sleep as fsr as there remains natural energy in this world.

" Oh Right, I spoke with Indra just now, and he is back to good health" I changed the topic to talk about my main reason for being here.

"Sigh, is that so? I wonder what I did wrong with him. So what did you two talk about? I know you didn't just take him away to 'talk' only" He asked.

"Well yes, Indra may have become stupid but he is still my brother. I just didn't understand how his hatred could be so deep that he would try to kill Ashura. if you hadn't given Ashura a part tour power, he may not have been able to stop Indra m, you know"

"I don't know if you felt it old man, but his hatred runs deep, both for you and Ashura. Ge thinks your ideology is foolish and Ashura is one who stole what should be his"

"And what do think about that? Do you think my ideology is foolish? I may be known by all as a sage but even I am still human. So do tell me your thoughts on this" Hagoromo asked.

"Whether your ideology is foolish or not, only time will tell, but personally, I don't think either of you is right or wrong. The moment you stared chakra to the world, you already destroyed whatever semblance of peace that should have existed. But maybe you were also right in doing so I don't know. But when this world will be plunged in into chaos due to this, someone like Indra would be needed. Either as a symbol of order or as a symbol of fear to bring the people together"

"During my travels, I found that humans are very tenacious, so things will work out well in the future. Don't worry about it. As for Indra, he is just driven by emotions and not thinking logically, maybe he will come back to his senses soon, maybe he will not, it all depends on Ashura now"

There is no need for me to say all these things, after all, things worked out well in the anime, one way or another, things will work out well here too. I know it will be close to impossible to reconcile Indra and Ashura in this lifetime so there isn't much for me to do.

We then spent some time with some idle chatter until it was late into the night.m before I bade him good night.

"Oh, old man, I plan on visiting uncle Hamura soon, I may be leaving tomorrow after I help build new houses for the village," I said as I was leaving.

"Oh?... Is there a reason for that" He asked

"Nah, just some casual visit. This world has a lot to offer, I can't afford to stay in one place." I said.

"Hmm. If you say so. I will give you the direction to the doorway to the moon as that is where he is."

"Nah, don't worry about it. I will fly up there. Maybe later I could try using the portal" I said. I didn't want to give up using my newfound strength to my advantage. If I am not mistaken, at this stage, I could breathe in space like those Otsutsukis.

Even Naruto could breathe on the moon. Not sure if it's due to the special effects Hamura left behind or if it is part of that anime logic we all can't understand and our to the back of our heads.

Anyway, I am going to have to go there one of these days. Now, about tomorrow, should I build an earthhouse or a wooden one? The other has advantages and disadvantages. if make them more durable, their disadvantages will be taken care of.

Hmm. I think I would go for the wooden ones. I am then going to teach it to Ashura. He is going to be the village chief so he should know how to make things with his wood release.

Hmm. Time to sleep then. I don't really to sleep but I enjoy it. Not like I have any better things I am doing...
