5 Chapter 5: Curse Of Hatred

The night passed silently.

Illumi went back to his house without speaking a word so did Kaname, a lifeless look in his eyes. He did not know how to react, as the death of a father came without warning.

The corridors felt empty. The house felt foreign to him.

Walking to his parent's room, he slid the door open without any warning, only to find his mother achieve another level of pale as tears ran down her face.

She did not speak, nor did he. Both remained silent.

Closing the door, Illumi left for his own room. There, he took out his futon and got in, slowly crying himself to sleep.

The other clansmen all received the news of Jirou's death, and anger started brewing into the hearts of the Uchiha. Once they heard how he died, they couldn't help but feel resentment for the village's higher-ups. This was their first step in the path that would lead to the clan's demise.

Jirou was sent on a mission and his team unexpectedly encountered the second Raikage's son 'A'. His strength is stronger than any third Kage by far. The village could've allowed them to retreat but forced them to finish the mission by all means.

Also, the way he died would leave the Uchiha's in complete shambles, he was tortured brutally before death leaving him unrecognizable. They couldn't even retrieve the body after they defiled it.

Was this how the village treated it's strongest and founding clan?

During the funeral the next day, which took place at the Naka shrine, Goro gave a speech about the valiant acts of his brother along with an ovation from Danzo.

Obviously, he was not very welcome.

Illumi sat in the front row, holding his mother's hands with a determined look on his face.

He had heard the 'full story' and looked towards Danzo with hatred in his eyes. In his heart, he knew this man probably orchestrated and definitely had something to do with it.

Noticing the hatred sent his way, Danzo looked at Illumi and noticed an eye turning red, a small tomoe appearing in them. Shocked, remembering that dreadful Madara, that glared at him with those accursed eyes when he was only a child. When he looked up those eyes were gone, Danzo then left.

Illumi swore to avenge his father by killing any and everyone involved, bringing honor to his name and his own fulfilled justice. He wouldn't stop until he accomplished it.

"Danzo, Raikage's son, whomever. I'll kill them all…"
