Schemes

Sitting in the legendary ramen shop of konoha, the Ichiraku Ramen, Ryouma and Obito felt the similar frustration as Naruto felt while the ramen was being cooked while Minami and Obito's grandmother looked at them from the side.

Soon the owner, Teuchi who looked a bit younger than in anime, served them the dish.

Ryouma and Obito immediately clapped their hands in prayer and began eating.

Ryouma had his first bite full of expectations and ramen didn't disappoint. While Ryouma was savouring every bite, Obito was eating it in hurry. Obito had finished his first bowl before even Ryouma finished a fourth of his.

Meanwhile in Uchiha Tatsuma's house:

In a meeting house, 7 people say on the table, one at the head and three on each sides.

"What are you thinking Tatsuma sama, letting such talents go out of grasp. Especially that boy, he obviously have an unbelievable affinity in fire chakra nature, it was way greater than anyone I had seen till now."

One of the elders asked now that they are alone.

"I agree Tatsuma sama, with their potential they will surely become atleast elite jonins. They could have helped in increasing the clans reputation and influence."

Another one chimed in.

"I too agree with this, Tatsuma sama. Even if the things between village and clans is more stable now than ever, it is apparent that clan is not truly given an important place in the village politics and with the declining population of Uchihas, our power and influence is declining too even if we were one of the founding clans of the konoha village.

Clan needs such youngsters to stand up for the clan and place it even above themselves and the village." Third one also gave his opinion.

And in the head of the table sat Tatsuma, whom they all referenced to.

"I know your concerns, elders but you have to consider the children too, that Obito kid is too dumb as he considers the clan and village same and Ryouma is too intelligent, he will likely figure out if we tried such things. His plan to serve the village is likely influenced by that idiot Ryu and Minami.

Instead of saying such things adruptly, we have to make slow and deliberate changes to deter them to this path. Timing is perfect too, Ryu is out in battlefield and Minami is no longer a ninja while Obito's parents are dead. We can easily mould them to the shape we want.

For that reason too, I have chosen Mikoto to be their instructor. Mikoto does not strictly place Uchiha clan as first, this will lower their gaurd and make them close to her. And when Mikoto eventually becomes the matriarch of Uchiha clan, they too would inevitably and indirectly support the clan."

Hearing that faces of elders lit up and they praised the leader for his thinking and clever mind.

However none of them knew there were more reasons for this choice, if they knew they would surely be reacting opposite.

Ryouma and Obito unaware of schemes in the background finished their meal.

"Come again." Teuchi said as customers paid and stood up to leave.

"Of course." Ryouma and Obito shouted.

And they began making their way towards home.

At night, Ryouma was sitting crosslegged on the bed as he tried to grasp chakra once again. Feeling the warmth once again as chakra flowed through his network, he felt esthetic at the things he would now be able to do.

Calming down himself, he did the most basic step of chakra manipulation: creating a flow of chakra in the body. This is the most basic and important step taught in academy.

As chakra is the combination of made of physical and spiritual energy. Nourishing the muscles with chakra helps them to strengthen over time. Creating a flow of chakra helps in strengthening of muscles and makes it readily available for use. Next step is to make the flow subconscious even when sleeping or unconscious.

Ryouma tries to create the flow, manipulating the chakra in his hands, he tries to move it to fingers, then back to his shoulders, he does it because manipulating a part of chakra to move inside the body is easy, the difficult part is to move every bit of chakra inside his whole body simultaneously.

And as expected he fails at it.

'Well doing it is no easy thing. Even in academy, children are made to master for first two to three years.'

Even in Uchiha clan children are required.to master it by the age of six and then they learn the Great Fireball Jutsu. And only after learning that, the members are considered as adults.

After practicing it for more time, Ryouma went to sleep.

Next Day:

Ryouma was eating breakfast with her mother as he was thinking about what happened yesterday.

'Yesterday in Awakening, I had expected some resistance from the members when Obito and I declared our dreams but it is suspicious that no one spoke of it.

And no I don't believe that they would not try to manipulate us for their needs just because they are better integrated in the village.

Danzo hates Uchiha for their power meanwhile Hiruzen was wary of them because of their power, like Tobirama was. So they would try to limit them politically and in influence.

And Uchiha clan will not back down, I am sure of it and in this war between them, children like Itachi would become a sacrifice. I would have to make sure Obito doesn't follow that path too.'

'Well enough of that, our official training will begin from next week. But there is no harm in starting ahead of time. I will leave these problems to my future self.'
