You quickly dodge backwards attempting to evade the wave coming your way, but quickly realize that the speed of the sand is way faster than you. The last thing that you heard was "Sand Burial" before you were crushed to death by Gaara.]

'What the fuck do you mean, Gaara killed me on sight? Did he remember me from the fight, and why do I even run into a homicidal Jinchuriki on a routine C-Rank mission just outside Konoha, the chances of that are so minuscule...'
Hiroshi shook his head as he calmed down and looked at the rating that he got, he had no idea how he got a B- rating, he was a little stronger than the penultimate simulation where he got a C- rating, he was Chunin level in strength then too. Maybe it was the difference between low-chunin and high-chunin? But there is no way he was High-chunin in strength with those miserable stats.
'Still, I got the blue trait, now if I focus on improving my physique then my ceiling in the next simulation will increase, speaking of which...'
Hiroshi's gaze then focused on the simulation cooldown, he was expecting the cooldown to increase, but not by much, if the cooldown was based on how much stronger he was compared to the last, then it shouldn't have quintupled from the previous simulation where he died at the start of the chunin exam. And maybe it was not even if it was based on the time he survived in the simulation world, the only thing that he could think of was that the simulation cooldown was independent of his experiences in the simulation world which is why it just increased with every simulation.
This puts a limit on how much he could gain before the whole world goes to shit, in canon, the fourth shinobi world war happened around Naruto's 17th birthday, and they just graduated 6 months or so ago when he was 12. So he had just around 3-4 years before the 4th shinobi world war, unless he could delay it from happening he would have a limited number of simulations. He didn't want to do the math right now but if the cooldown days kept increasing then he was sure he would just get around 50 simulations.
'Maybe even less than that...'
Hiroshi's face was set in a frown as he once again looked at the 4 options presented to him, the decision now more crucial than ever as the number of possible simulations keep decreasing. To be honest, Hiroshi didn't actually have a choice now, he didn't know if he would ever naturally gain stats in his hidden stats. Maybe those barriers would lift naturally, but considering he was already over 14 and his body's natural reflexes and physique were still at genin level he wasn't very optimistic.
'Maybe this body's potential was just an average chunin at its peak...'
Hiroshi sighed as he selected the 5000 Simulation points, he would have liked to get those low-chunin level stats, but then his next simulation would be ruined as he would already be at his max potential. On the other hand, if he upgraded his physique at least in the next simulation he could get more stats, maybe if got to Jounin level in the physique at least then maybe his rating would increase and he could stack traits and get more simulation points achieving a snowballing effect.

He looked at his hidden stats and right now he stared at the 5100 simulation points saved up.
'2500 to upgrade from C- to C... that's a lot, at this rate it would take me at least 3-4 simulations to even touch the threshold of Jounin level strength, not to mention how much it would take to upgrade to just S-rank...'
He stopped for a moment to think, about what he wanted, did he want to go in a specialized direction or should he go for a more generalized approach?
'Realistically what good would the Memory stat even do, I don't want to remember my infant days, and it's not like I'm Kakashi and I'll forget about my 1000 jutsus... similarly balance seemed like a dump stat too, I am a shinobi and my natural balance was actually pretty good unless I am going to learn the gentle fist and trying to learn the Kaiten, there was no need to get this stat to S-rank unless I have a surplus of simulation points... which I will never have.'
It was still a very defining decision, so Hiroshi decided to take a break and then decide which stats to upgrade.
'I can't do both vision and Reflexes again, that would take all 5000 points, maybe I should go all Physique, I could go from D to D+ for 500 points, D+ to C- for 1000 and C- to C for 2500, and maybe then use the rest for Comprehension... yeah that seems better, this way I can get both better stats and ninjutsu, now that I think about it the Comprehension stat should be my focus, getting it to B grade would allow me to learn B-grade Ninjutsus...'
"Hey Hirsoshi, what are you doing, we need to go!!" Ren shouted/spoke from across the hall, pulling him out of his thoughts. They needed to go on patrol for the first 4 hours before they break to patrol specific areas for another shift.
"I'm here, I'm here" Hiroshi grumbled while walking towards the door, ready for another boring day to pass, he still had a week to go before they had to go back to Konoha according to the latest simulation.

I'm trying a trial run this week, I mean if we could stay in the top 50 in Powerstone ranking till the end of the week, I'll promise to write at least 1k words a day.
