2 Cursed System [Revised]

After the couple named Dango, they placed him into a crib that they had prepared and went to bed, expecting Dango to fall asleep soon after.

He didn't. He was still in a state of shock because of his name.

'Can I give myself another name?'

'So cool!' Dango thought as he looked at the white window in front of him, 'Hm... it has both Naruto and JJK-related stuff.'

'First off, let's look at Sorcerer Grade and Shinobi Rank. Hm, I don't remember much about shinobi, but I know that for a sorcerer to increase in grade, they need recommendations from higher grade sorcerers.'

=====

[Sorcerer Grade: None]

Sorcerers possess the same grading system as Cursed Spirits and Cursed Tools. Grades are assigned to sorcerers based on their skill level. There are five grades in total: Grade 4 to 1 and Special Grade.

You have no Sorcerer Grade. To become a Grade 4 Sorcerer and beyond, you must complete Rank-Up Missions. Your first Rank-Up Mission will be available when you reach age 5.

[Shinobi Rank: None]

Shinobi are ranked based on the Shinobi Organisational System. Ranks are assigned to shinobi based on their skill level. There are five ranks in total: Academy Student, Genin, Chunin, Jonin, and Kage.

You have no Shinobi Rank. To become an Academy Student Rank and beyond, you must complete Rank-Up Missions. Your first Rank-Up Mission will be available when you reach age 5.

Notice: Ranks reflect your strength, not your obligatory duties.

=====

'Rank-Up Missions will be interesting. I should start preparing for those very soon. I bet they will require me to fight stuff.'

=====

[Cursed Coins: 0]

The Cursed System has a special currency known as Cursed Coins. They can be spent in the Cursed Shop, or on jujutsu, jutsus, and skills to increase your overall understanding and mastery over them. Cursed Coins can be obtained as a reward for completing missions or exorcising cursed spirits.

=====

'Cursed spirits? I'll be able to fight them in Naruto! Wonder how that will work since cursed spirits are a specialty for JJK. Will they start spawning because of me or the system's existence?'

=====

[Vitality: 1]

The Vitality Stat determines your defensive ability and natural resistance to harmful substances.

[Strength: 1]

The Strength Stat determines your offensive ability, as well as the effectiveness of your cursed energy and chakra.

[Agility: 1]

The Agility Stat determines your physical and mental speed, as well as the speed of your cursed energy and chakra.

[Intelligence: 11]

The Intelligence Stat determines your learning and understanding ability, as well as your capability in controlling energies.

=====

'I think that's good? I am quite intelligent, though.'

He moved on to the next two, chakra and cursed energy. He was confused why his chakra was locked but he just thought that it was normal since he was a baby. That or it needed to be unlocked, he didn't know.

As for cursed energy... It was the first thing Dango had seen when he pulled out his status. He immediately ignored it hoping it was merely an error.

=====

[Cursed Energy: 0]

Born from negative emotions such as anger and fear. An average adult non-sorcerer has around 10 units of cursed energy.

[Chakra: (Locked)]

The resulting combination of physical and spiritual energy. The average academy student has around 100 units of chakra.

=====

Dango had a ghastly expression as he read the two descriptions, 'I actually have zero cursed energy!' If you looked closely, the baby with a 26-year-old mind had teary eyes.

'Maybe the same missions that reward cursed coins also reward cursed energy? After all, why would the system have a section for an innate technique? Just to laugh at me?'

=====

[Innate Cursed Technique]

An intrinsic supernatural power that is congenitally engraved into an innately talented sorcerer when they are born. They generally manifest around the age of five or six and are completely unique to their respective user.

=====

'Five years? I hope I'm talented enough! That reminds me, when did I reincarnate into the Naruto World?'

=====

[Jujutsu]

An umbrella term that encompasses all curse-related mystic arts. Jujutsu refers to the spells and techniques sorcerers and cursed spirits can use through the manipulation of their cursed energy.

Jujutsu can be purchased from the Cursed Shop, be a reward for completing missions or be taught to you.

=====

[Jutsu]

A term dedicated to the techniques that a ninja will utilize in battle. These techniques require the consumption of chakra to be used.

Most jutsu require hand seals in order to be manifested. However, the number of required hand seals for each technique can be reduced based on a ninja's skill and chakra control.

Some jutsu have a specific requirement related to the user's DNA, physique, or talent. If you obtain this type of jutsu, you do not need to meet the requirement.

Jutsu can be obtained as a reward for completing missions.

=====

[Skills]

An umbrella term for abilities that do not belong to either Jujutsu or Jutsu, meaning that they will not consume cursed energy nor chakra. A minority of skills may require mental energy, stamina, et cetera to activate.

Most skills are part of a ranking system; Basic >> Intermediate >> Advanced. These skills have specific conditions required to advance.

Skills can be obtained by either performing actions that qualify as a skill or as a reward for completing a mission.

=====

'Missions are the common source for all of these. The easiest one to get is no doubt the skills, so I should work for that. And since my dad is a ninja, maybe I can get him to teach me jutsu and stuff. I shouldn't try to get any jujutsu since I have no cursed energy.'

Dango glanced at the three skills he already had in his possession. He was curious as to why the so-called Darkness gave it to him.

=====

[Black Heart]

Description: Only those who are fundamentally corrupt or evil have black hearts. For you to possess a black heart means that you are equivalent to those monsters. A heart as black as yours cannot be influenced by negativity.

=====

[Shattered Mind]

Description: A shattered mind is usually associated with insanity. Don't worry, you aren't crazy... yet. It's as if you have more 'brains' to think, to learn, and to understand. You know what they say, the more the merrier.

=====

[Empty Vessel]

Description: Your body is but a vessel, a vessel to contain your evil soul. To be empty is to never be full. Since this is only a vessel, then you will never truly suffer the consequences subjected to it. Your defense and resistance to all harmful sources have increased.

=====

'Those skills are... interesting, I guess? I get the idea for the mind and vessel, but what does the heart skill do? What makes me so interesting that the Darkness would give me these skills?'

Dango had finally finished looking through his status page. He then noticed how there were two tabs at the top of the status page that were each titled 'Cursed Shop' and 'Missions.' He had originally planned on sleeping, but his curiosity got the better of him.

'Let's see what the Cursed Shop and Missions are about.'

=====

I'll ask him when I have the opportunity to. Maybe I can convince him to teach me how to be a ninja, or enroll me in an academy. Is there an academy at the rain village?'

After Dango finished perusing through the system, he went to bed, curious of what tomorrow might hold.
