9 chapter 9 : Sasuke & Naruto vs Orochimaru

(Team 7)

 Naruto and his team had been traveling in the forest of death for a while, because Naruto came to train here with Obito, he knew the forest well too so he led the team without stress into the forest.

When it came time to stop and think about plans and strategies, Naruto left to go urinate a little further away.

 He moved calmly but noticed that someone was following him but he did nothing. Naruto had barely urinated when the stranger took the opportunity to attack him from behind but he was waiting for him and sent him a spinning kick in the jaw at a speed where the attacker could not react and been sent flying.

Feeling the terrifying pain in his jaw, the Ame ninja stood up but Naruto was no longer in his sight.

In a state of emergency, he took a Kunai but just as soon something violently hit the left of his ribcage, breaking several ribs in the process and it was a knee strike from Naruto.

 The enemy on the ground once again spat blood and Naruto moved closer to crouch near him, taking out one of his kunais.

 "You probably noticed that I was too fast for you so don't try anything stupid, you don't have to die in this exam." He said looking him straight in the eyes and the enemy sensed it, Naruto would not hesitate to kill him if it was necessary.

Unlike his version of the main reality, this Naruto, although friendly and peaceful, has an awareness of the world in which he operates and knows that death is part of a shinobi's life.

He saw his brother lose his eye to protect him so even if on the outside he seems smiling and has a real desire for peace, he also knows that there are times when they have to kill but when it's necessary .

 Naruto asked him what kind of scroll his team had and knowing that it was the scroll of Heaven he was looking for, he called upon a shadow clone which he sent back to Sasuke and Sakura before asking Ame's ninja to lead him to his group.

 When the clone returned to the others, Sakura complained about the time he took there but as he was about to answer her, he and Sasuke felt something approaching at high speed and stood on guard.

A big gust hit them and they held on to their supports except Sakura who was sent against a tree. Naruto after a few seconds felt foreign chakra in his body and immediately disrupted his chakra flow on purpose to avoid any genjutsu due to this foreign chakra.

 "Nfufufufu ! The young ninjas of Konoha are really entertaining" Someone said with grim amusement and they looked in his direction to see Orochimaru approaching as he had stolen the appearance of Shiore, a Kusa's ninja.

 "Let's stay on guard, I have a bad feeling..." Naruto said seriously to the others who took their positions with Sakura behind.

 "Kokokoko brat your instincts are truly impressive" He praised Naruto by sticking out his tongue before suddenly turning his gaze to Sasuke hungrily.

They were really disturbed by him and Naruto asked them to be ready to move, his instincts were alert. 

 "I believe you're looking for a the Heaven scroll to complete this ordeal, I have one and if you want to take it from me then we'll have to shed a lot of blood" Orochimaru said while releasing a terrible amount of Bloodlust mixed with a illusion which immediately affected Sasuke and Sakura who due to terror urinated in her clothes after falling on her knees.

 "SASUKE DISRUPT YOUR CHAKRA, THIS SICK SENT YOU AN ILLUSION..." Naruto shouted before giving Sasuke a slap to wake him up and asked him to take Sakura with him because this time, the enemy was too dangerous.

Sasuke woke up and looked at Sakura completely overcome by terror. They tried to find a way to escape but three large snakes surrounded them.

 "Damn, Sasuke and Sakura are here, if I use my techniques adapted to the situation, they will definitely be hurt..." Naruto looked at Sasuke and bet on provocation, something he will morally regret.

 "Look at you trembling like a little girl, you're pitiful. Is that how you were facing your big brother? If we die here in front of him you'll never have the opportunity to take revenge you coward..." He said to Sasuke who had a blank look, certainly overcome by intense anger and when he looked at Naruto, affected by fear but also pure anger, his sharingan activated with two tomoe but suddenly, a third tomoe appeared.

 "Naruto...thank you" he said coldly before taking out a Kunai from his pocket, Naruto did the same and with a shared look, they knew what each had to do, Naruto headed towards the snakes to attract them away from Sakura. He moved nimbly between them despite attempts to bite him but neither of them could get him.

He harassed them with vicious attacks and suddenly, he landed on a branch while with a smile, he saw the multiple explosive tags he had placed on the snakes without their knowledge activate and finally explode violently to reduce these giant reptiles into pieces of meat.

Sakura was sprayed with snake blood and it woke her up even though she was still shaking and couldn't move.

 "Fascinating, you awakened a full sharingan Sasuke-kun..." Orochimaru said with grim amusement as he faced Sasuke in hand to hand combat, he wasn't even fighting seriously and Sasuke had only just added two tomoe to his sharingan.

he didn't yet know how to exploit its full potential even if he easily read Orochimaru's movements.

Naruto arrived and the two of them attacked Orochimaru , it was easier for Sasuke to follow Naruto now because his eyes fully saw his movements and increased the effectiveness of their combination with terrifying efficiency.

 They attacked him relentlessly and Orochimaru was more than impressed by them, especially Naruto's taijutsu and physical prowess, the child had physical power poorly exploited in the main reality.

No unnecessary movements, powerful and precise blows not to mention his reactivity which rivaled that of an owner of the sharingan, the child had been trained by Itachi and was used to facing another monster in training, his own twin brother .

 They moved away from Orochimaru when he noticed that he could no longer move, he paid more attention to his environment to notice the multiple thin wires placed by Sasuke during the fight without him noticing. 

The boys performed mudrâs :

 "Futon: Great Breakthrough"

 "Katon: Dragon Flame Jutsu"

 The wind increased the power of the fire which headed at high speed towards Orochimaru, the sanin watched this with great satisfaction before twisting his body to escape from there laughing just before the explosion.

 *BRAOOOOOM*

 Fire engulfed the area and the boys watched the scene near Sakura which they joined, Sasuke had exhausted too much chakra in a barely awakened three tomoe sharingan and deactivated it only to collapse from exhaustion .

 "Do you think we got him ?" Naruto asked him and he hadn't even spoken yet when Orochimaru appeared in front of them by Shunshin at a speed they couldn't keep up with and he attacked Naruto with a violent palm strike to the chest so strong that the clone disappeared . 

 " A clone ?!!" Orochimaru asked in great surprise while the others were shocked, a mere clone was capable of such fighting prowess but they couldn't stay like that for long, Orochimaru sent Sakura flying with one kick before looking at Sasuke exhausted with a wide smile.

 The real Naruto had a satisfied look on his face as he held the Heaven scrolls from the Ame ninjas who were all lying unconscious on the ground when suddenly the experience his dead clone had passed through his mind.

He disappeared from there to return to his team urgently and found Sakura crying near an unconscious Sasuke with the cursed seal that Orochimaru had placed on him like in the original reality.

 "Sasuke-kun...he... Naruto, where ? Where were you ? Why was it your clone who was there?..." Sakura started to attack him with questions and reproach him but he ignored her to examine Sasuke who was just unconscious and exhausted.

 "Sorry, I was attacked by a Ninja so he led me to his group where I got their Heaven scroll. I sent a clone here just in case…" He said calmly .

 Sakura: YOU, YOU-(interrupted)

 " You're starting to irritate me Sakura ! I'll allow you to reproach me for something when you prove yourself useful, even my clone was more useful than you. Don't try my patience..." He told her coldly looking into her eyes and Sakura just shut her mouth, she was of no use to them and Naruto spat that truth in her face. He was usually nice and joking most of the time but she discovered another side of the blond guy.

 With Sasuke completely exhausted, Naruto knew the terrain well and said they would go straight to the tower where Sasuke was going to rest for the next four days.

Sakura had nothing to say, she had no qualifications to decide anything so they left .
