Words bubble up-

Like Soda pop,

Yet disperse all the same.

The confidence to say something,

Could show up out of nowhere,

As tiresome as running,

Possessing confidence is so rare.

Such an important feeling,

Yet it's existence begins fleeting,

Your heart's newfound beating,

The courage starts seeping.

A passion to speak,

It's existence becomes bleak,

Now so meek,

All to suddenly cease.

We lose our voice,

When we need it most,

Without a choice,

Confidence, now a ghost.
